I didn’t borrow to execute projects in Jigawa – Governor Lamido

The governor promised to complete the Dutse International Airport.

Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa said on Wednesday that he did not borrow money from any bank or organisation to execute projects in the state.

Mr. Lamido disclosed this at a news conference in Dutse as part of activities to mark democracy day in the state.

He also promised that he would not borrow to complete the ongoing projects.

The governor promised to complete the Dutse International Airport, Sintilmawa-Dutse Water Works and the rehabilitation of the Hadejia River Valley before the end of his tenure.

He said the projects, when completed, would improve the socio-economic well-being of the people.
