The governor urged the new Acting Head of Service to put in his best in improving the capacity of the state civil service for better service delivery.
Governor Mukhtar Yero of Kaduna State has approved the appointment of Habila Kyong as the Acting Head of Service of the state.
Mr. Kyong’s appointment is contained in a statement signed by the Director General, Media and Publicity, Ahmed Maiyaki on Wednesday in Kaduna.
Mr. Kyong, whose appointment takes effect from Thursday, replaces Akila Bungwon.
The governor, in the statement, congratulated Mr. Kyong on the appointment and urged him to put in his best in improving the capacity of the state civil service for better service delivery.
Mr. Yero advised him to regard the appointment as an opportunity to serve the people and actualise the ongoing reform in the state civil service.
The governor commended the outgoing Head of Service for a successful career in the civil service, appreciated his contribution to the development of the state and wished him well in his future endeavour.
