The FRSC confirmed the accidents and casualties.

Mr. Dauda added that two persons died immediately, while six other passengers who were critical injured, were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
The sector commander attributed the two accidents to reckless driving and advised motorist to avoid dangerous driving, wrong overtaking and over-speeding, saying they were the major causes of road accidents in the country.
In a related development, the Chairman of Kurfi local council, Nura Amadi, has visited the injured persons on admission at a hospital in Kurfi and pledged to assist them in settling their medical expenses.
Mr. Amadi prayed God for the repose of the souls of the deceased and urged motorist to always abide by traffic rules and regulations.
