Governor Yero of Kaduna reshuffles cabinet

Governor of Kaduna State, Mukhtar Yero

This is first change exerted by the governor since assuming office.

The Governor of Kaduna State, Ramalan Yero, has effected changes to the state executive council, swapping the offices of several commissioners.

The changes are the first to be undertaken by Mr. Yero since assuming office after the death of his predecessor, Patrick Yakowa, in a helicopter crash in Bayelsa State on December 12, 2012.

According to a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Ahmed Maiyaki, Monday, Mr. Yero charged members of the council to rededicate themselves to selfless service and commitment to the good people of the state based on the principles of justice, equity and accountability.
