The Acting Governor of Taraba, Abubakar Danladi, has appointed, Timothy Kataps, as Secretary to the State Government.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Government House, Hassan Mijinyawa, in Jalingo on Saturday.
Mr. Mijinyawa said Mr. Kataps, a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, would be sworn in on Monday.
Mr. Danladi was reinstated by the Supreme court on Friday, which nullified his impeachment and ordered that he should be sworn in immediately.
The impeached and reinstated former deputy governor, replaced Garba Umar, who had been acting following the plane crash suffered by incumbent Governor Danbaba Suntai.
Mr. Danladi was impeached by the House of Assembly in October, 2012, shortly before Mr. Suntai had a brain injury from a plane crash in Yola.
The house had alleged that Mr. Danladi was involved in gross misconduct and abuse of office.
