A former Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, on Wednesday accused the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Ibrahim Auta, of conspiring to deny him justice.
Mr. Nyako had filed a suit at a Federal High Court in Yola challenging his removal from office by Adamawa House of Assembly. But Justice Auta transferred the suit to a court in Bauchi.
In a protest letter signed by Mr. Nyako’s Press and Publicity Director, Ahmad Sajoh, the former governor said the action of Justice Ibrahim Auta amounted to a travesty of justice.
Mr. Nyako added that the transfer was aimed at achieving two condemnable judicial breaches, prompting him to request the intervention of NJC and Nigerians to prevent him from being a victim of judicial subterfuge.
Mr. Nyako said those who were opposed to him getting justice are conniving with Justice Auta to indulge in delay tactics.
While protesting the transfer of his case, Mr. Nyako said that Justice Auta has allowed himself to become partisan despite his profession demanding him to neutral.
