A socio-political group, Adamawa Think-Tank, has commended former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for creating jobs for the indigenes of the state despite what it called “serial betrayal” or lack of reciprocation by the people.

The chairman of the group, Danladi Danasabe in a telephone interview on Tuesday said besides the state government, Mr. Atiku is the highest employer of labour.

“I can confidently tell you that in terms of finances, the Turaki even spends more than the state government‎ as far as wage bill is concerned.”

Mr. Danasabe said Atiku’s companies such as the Faro group, Gotel TV and Radio stations, the American University of Nigeria and others have provided direct and indirect jobs to more than ‎50,000 citizens of the state.

He said despite all these laudable efforts,‎ the people, especially politicians turn their backs on the former vice president.

“The most annoying thing is that we understand many of the delegates to the nat‎ional convention of the APC which produced Muhammadu Buhari as the party’s candidate did not vote for Turaki, that is most unfortunate,” he said.

The Think Tank said after the primary election, they feared that Atiku has “had it” with the people.

“To our surprise he came back and set up two more new factories, an extension to Faro juice chain and an animal feed production company.

Mr. Danasabe called on Atiku to continue with his investments assuring him that “the ordinary man on the street remains grateful and appreciative”.

Very well said Mr.Dan’Asabe, Atiku has shown Nigerians and the people of Adamawa that he means well for the common and has shown continue to show that against all odds and I commend him as a elder and wish other politicians and weathy Nigerians will follow his footsteps to better the lives of Nigerians not minding the obstacles they face from both within and outside.
All I have to say is Kudos to Turakin Adamawa, You are really a role model to we the young ones.

What a nice way to invest stolen money from customs. This can only happen when money laundering has been halted by western countries. Please, sell the idea to other political thieves and their colleagues in civil service.

You know the qualities of who should be the next Governor. I suppose you have those qualities, so why not contest?
