Ms. Mohammed died on Wednesday afternoon in Bauchi.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Bala Mohammed, has lost his mother, Aisha Jummare Mohammed.

Ms. Mohammed died on Wednesday afternoon in Bauchi, the Bauchi State capital at the age of 80.

The Chief Press Secretary to the FCT minister, Muhammad Sule, in a statement said Ms. Mohammed died after a brief illness.

She has been buried according to Islamic rites.Late Hajiya Aisha Mohammed

Ms. Mohammed was born in 1934 in Alkaleri, Alkaleri Local Government of Bauchi State.

She is survived by four children: the FCT Minister; Adamu Mohammed, Hauwa Maijida, and Asmau Mohammed.

Mr. Sule said the Abuja minister left for Bauchi with members of his family on receiving the news of his mother’s death.
