PHCN workers in Yola zone, comprising Taraba, Adamawa, Bauchi and Yobe States, on Tuesdayembarked on a three-day warning strike.
The Public Relations Officer of the PHCN in Taraba, Aliyu Ardo, said strike was in protest against the non-payment of their salaries and allowances for the past two months as well as their severance packages.

Manu Samuel, who charges telephone batteries at Road Block in Jalingo, appealed to the Government to resolve the problem.
“I have been suffering with my generator since morning but no gains because it is even burning people’s phones and giving me more problems.
“The government should pay their salaries so that they could restore our light’’, he said.
