The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, has announced the appointment of a new registrar and a school librarian.
Both appointments were approved during the 82nd ordinary meeting of the council held on August 21. The registrar’s would take effect from September 9 while the librarian’s would be from October 9.
The new registrar, Rakiya Arabi, until her appointment, was a Deputy Registrar in charge of the Academics Division of the Polytechnic. She hails from Dass in Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Hull, and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Wales.
The new librarian, Hajaratu Pisagih, was a Deputy Librarian at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. She hails from Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State.
In their separate letters of appointments signed by the Chairman Governing Council of the Polytechnic, Adamu Abdulkadir, the new appointees were charged to be dedicated, honest and transparent in the discharge of their duties.
