The foundation distributed clothes and food to children.
About 265 children from Angwanlambu community in Keffi, Nasarawa State, were hosted, on Monday, at a party organised by the Teens Global Foundation to celebrate Children’s Day.
The party was part of the foundation’s Teens Care Project.
The atmosphere was one of joy and excitement as the children celebrated the day by singing the national anthem, reciting poems and engaging in various games
The foundation distributed clothes and served food, drinks and sweets to the children.
“We are grateful for what the foundation has done to for the children. It was indeed a wonderful and colourful children’s day,” said Ladi Joseph, one of the teenager’s present at the event.
Nasiru Yusuf, a secondary school student, was also grateful to the foundation for putting smiles on their faces.
Teens Global Foundation, a non-governmental organisation based in Abuja, while urging the state government to improve the educational system of the community school, also appealed to Nigerians to support the organization to enable them reach out to more teenagers within the country.
