Mr. Al-Makura has sacked his entire cabinet
Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nassarawa State has sacked his entire cabinet.
This was made known by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Iliyasu Ali-Yakubu, on Monday.
There were no reasons given for the action.
The governor, in the statement, thanked members of the dissolved cabinet for their “immeasurable contribution” to the development of the state and wished them the very best in their future endeavours.
He directed them to hand over the affairs of their ministries and departments to the most senior officer or Permanent Secretaries.
