American University of Nigeria waives admission application fee

 American University of Nigeria was founded in 2005.

The American University of Nigeria, AUN, Friday, announced that it will no longer require application fees beginning from the spring semester of 2013.

The Assistant Vice President of Marketing & Recruitment, at the AUN, Linus Ikyurav, said the decision was meant to facilitate access to the University.

AUN accepts applications via the Web and through paper-based applications.

AUN President, Margee Ensign, said, “We wanted to make sure that every student can easily present one’s credentials and have equal access to the application process.

“We are seeking to educate the brightest potential leaders of our country.”

To apply for admission, prospective students are advised to log on to the AUN website, or visit AUN’s Liaison Office at the Yar’Adua Center, 1 Memorial Drive, Abuja, in order to complete an application form and provide supporting documents.

The institution, was founded in 2005 by former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and is located in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State.
