The Eggon Cultural Development Association, ECDA, Kaduna chapter, donated a 505 Saloon car to Nasarawa state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial candidate – Yusuf Agabi.
Presenting the car to John Mathew, Mr. Agabi’s running mate in Akwanga on Monday, the chairman ECDA Kaduna chapter, Barnabas Angba, urged the people of the state to rally round the PDP to ensure success in the forthcoming general elections.
Mr. Angba said that the association has confidence in the PDP team and is willing to join hands to campaign for the PDP.
“We have decided to extend our own hands of fellowship to the PDP, especially with people like John Mathew as the running mate, the team is complete and success is for the PDP”.
Mr. Angba urged the PDP to address youth employment across the state and the national level.
“If our youth are gainfully employed it will certainly be difficult for the politicians to recruit them into becoming thugs and criminal for their selfishness,” he said.
Similarly, Mr. Mathew friend, Jide Aluko donated a sixteen seater bus to the campaign organization.
Mr. Aluko said his decision to donate the vehicle was due to his conviction that the PDP gubernatorial team will turn around the fortunes of the state and create an enabling environment through democratic processes in the country.
“I have worked with the two distinguished individuals and I have the conviction that they have their people and this country at heart”.
Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the campaign team, Mr. Mathew said that the party has lined up programmes that will enable every citizen contribute to national development.
Mr. Mathew thanked the donors and promised that if voted into office, Nasarawa will be safe.
