The phone services were shut down on Sunday.
After being shut down for about 20 hours, all mobile network services were at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday restored in the Borno State capital, Maiduguri, and its environs.
The military had on Sunday shut down all telecommunications services while carrying out a raid on terrorists’ camps around Sambisa forests. Airforce jets hovered over, Maiduguri, all night till the early hours of Monday.
Details of the military operation, which lasted all Sunday night, are yet to be known.
