Borno College matriculates 955

Borno Governor, Kashim Shettima

The matriculation ceremony was held in Borno.

The Kashim College of Education (KCE) in Borno on Friday matriculated 955 students admitted into its National Certificate of Education programme for 2013/2014 academic session.

Muhammad Kolo, the Provost of the College, made the announcement while speaking at the matriculation ceremony in Maiduguri.

Mr. Kolo charged the students to remain focused in their studies and abide by the rules and regulation of the college. He warned that the institutes would not condone any form of in discipline, cultism, and nude dressing or examination malpractices.

“Education must be pursued by youths so that they will become responsible leaders of tomorrow.

“Therefore, I urged you to strive hard in your various fields of study so as to achieve academic excellence and your desired aim and goal,” he said.

According to him, the state government has approved enough funds to facilitate completion of the students’ hostel.
