African women in Real Estate hold Lagos conference

3Invest Limited presents the third edition of the prestigious female real estate and business empowerment conference called ‘African Women in Real Estate’ (AWIRE) which is set to hold on October 6th 2016 at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos.

The event is set to bring together women from all business sectors in order to address the factors that affect women’s participation in the areas of real estate and property development.

“African Women in Real Estate” (AWIRE) is a Networking platform that fosters growth and economic prosperity for women in real estate.

The event which is to be hosted by distinguished media personality and Host of CNN’s African Voices, Keturah King, will feature some of the most influential women in the business industry in Nigeria and will also expose participants to the investment opportunities available in the Real Estate Sector.

Africa’s Real Estate Guru and Real Estate Unite Convener Ruth Obih will be speaking alongside female real estate shapers and business administrators.

The AWIRE conference this year seeks to highlight possibilities of filling the gender disparity and ambition gaps in the real estate sector.

Discussants will create interactive conversations around the following subjects;

– Accessibility of women leaders

– Importance of Mentorship vs Sponsorship

According to the conference spokesperson,

“Since the last decade emerging economies in Africa has seen more women emerge as leaders of opinion and action on the owner/developer/manager side of real estate. More recently, this influence has extended to brokerage, planning/urbanism, green build and large scale home building.”

Real estate unite is an annual real estate summit whose primary objective to unite players in the real estate sectors whilst opening up the immeasurable potentials in Sub-Sahara’s real estate sector for sustainable growth.
