As Africa grapples with the twin challenges of boosting economic growth and deepening democratic accountability, the Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) is set to launch a new Africa Hub in Lagos on Tuesday.
The hub, to be unveiled at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, is envisioned as a continent-wide platform to strengthen the private sector’s role in shaping Africa’s economic and democratic future.
“For more than four decades, CIPE has partnered with chambers of commerce, business associations, think tanks, and civil society organizations across Africa, strengthening over 530 chambers and associations in 23 countries,” the organisation said in a statement on Friday.
“The CIPE Africa Hub consolidates this experience, providing a unified platform to scale impact, foster accountable governance, and amplify the private sector’s role in shaping Africa’s economic and democratic future.”
