Immigration arrests 6 suspected human traffickers

The Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) says it has arrested six suspected human traffickers.
The state Comptroller, Umar Bulama told newsmen in Katsina on Monday that the suspects were arrested on Saturday at Kwangwalan border in Mai’adua Local Government Area of the state as they attempted to cross the border on their way to Algeria.
Mr. Bulama said that they were two male and four female suspects, adding that they would be handed over to the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), for further action.
