The Nigerian government has announced that the N-Power portal will be reopened for registration on June 13, 2017.
This announcement was made through the twitter handle of the scheme Thursday evening.
The N-Power Volunteer Corps is part of the Federal government’s Social Investment Programmes, under which it plans to hire 350,000 unemployed graduates.
The portal which first went live on June 11, 2016 recorded over 400,000 successful registrations with over 35 million hits in just 36 hours.
The N-Power Teach category seeks to ensure the adequate capacity of teachers in schools all over the country while N-Power Knowledge focuses on technology, N-Power Build on building services, construction, utilities, hospitality and catering, automotive vocations and gas services.
In February, President Muhammadu Buhari requested appropriation of N157.75 billion in the 2017 budget for the N-Power scheme.
Interested candidates are expected to visit npower.gov.ng when the portal reopens.
