Hopefully the first of many cases that will be concluded this year and the convicts should be sent to Gusau prison in the far north

My only fear is the judge, the convict will most likely get a maximum of 2yrs imprisonment, to be free in 6-9months!

  • Keen Observer

While my worries is not even the sentence term; fine & good let the law takes it’s full wrath on the offenders.
But the company-Ontario Oil & Gas whatever should be made to repay all that has accrued to them as illegal while the subsidy fraud lasted. Sitting back & seeing my former Gov. James Ibori freed from UK prison after serving 4 years imprisonment whereas majority of the loots that impoverished Delta State & it’s people. And still continuing under the current govt. of Dr. Okowa are still in his confines (Ex convict James Ibori.) beck & call right?

  • wazobia monk !!!!!!

sentencing was supposed to be today ………………………………. why the delay? ongoing further “negotiations” with the judge on where and how to place the koko?
