The Rivers State Government has dissociated itself from the protests by pro-Biafra groups.
The state government said it took exception to the disruption of commercial activities by the protesters.
The Rivers State Government said it ”believes in one indivisible Nigeria”.
“In as much as people have the right to peaceful protest, it should not be at the detriment of other members of the public.
“If the protesters have any misgivings, they should channel same to the appropriate authorities,” Simeon Nwakaudu said in a statement.
