The military has evacuated the rescued 275 women and children from the Malkohi Camp, near Yola.
The women and children were recently rescued from the Sambisa forest by the military.
The women and children were brought to the Malkohi Camp about three weeks ago by the military who handed them over to the National Emergency Management Agency.
The NEMA Camps Coordinator in Yola, Sa’ad Bello, confirmed that the women and children have been evacuated from the camp but said he could not say where the military took them to.
Mr. Bello said the evacuation of the IDPs was purely a military affair which he could not comment on.
Efforts to get the military’s reaction on the development did not yield results. (NAN)
