Buhari, incorruptible, honest – Gov. Lamido

Sule Lamido
A former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido.

Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State on Monday described the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, as an incorruptible and honest leader.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr. Lamido stated this while addressing supporters of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at a rally in Maigatari.

He explained that he had no problem with the former head of state, but had with some of the candidate’s supporters, especially those that left the PDP to the APC.

“I agreed like every other person that Buhari is an incorruptible, honest, clean and patriotic Nigerian.

“My concern has always been defectors who our party, PDP, had made ministers, governors, speakers and members of the National Assembly and left us after benefiting so much,” he said.

Mr. Lamido urged the electorate in the area to vote for PDP candidates in the coming elections.

According to him, the party’s governorship candidate, Aminu Ibrahim, and his running mate, Dr Nurudeen Mohammed, will continue from wherever I will stopped and will not betray the trust, if elected.

What kind of quote is that? Go back to school and learn some English, boy.

      • amazing2012

Slave mind ! So you expect me to quote from your masters ? I repeat he who has wisdom, understand ! A slave will always want his masters to think for him ! ! OTILE the cursed !!!

  • Balaj

Even Pdp gov. Affirmed Bihari is honest and incorruptible. We re only waiting to witness the D-day.

  • mk

Lamido could have been the best choice for PDP candidacy,OBJ and other prominent elders advise this, but GEJ insisted, trying to hide his acts and wrongs by himself..but time has proven him wrong, and surely time will judged him.

  • Sanusi Hammari

Thank U for d good recommendation to GMB,grudges btw u and ur former party members remained ur

  • Olu Ade

“I agreed like every other person that Buhari is an incorruptible, honest, clean and patriotic Nigerian. My concern has always…” by Lamido.

Mr. Alamido, that’s all we need to hear, we don’t want to hear your “but”, we know that is due to selfishness.

  • Walter

Where are the trolls now? I’m sure they’ll say he’s an APC mole in PDP

  • Okache

A veiled message to the electorates, quietly endorsing Buhari. Smart one, Gov. Lamido.

  • victo amadi

Before 12pm we will bury PDP in Nigeria come February 14th. 2015 by the grace of Allah.

  • djay

Its obvious that all other parties in the entire north are using Buhari’s name to campaign along side their own candidates. One thing is certain, that is a massive block votes for Buhari from the North come February 14.

    • israel amulum

February is around the corner.let’s wait now.

  • Wähala

Hahaha… Another one casts his vote. Respect! Sule Lamido for fighting from within!

  • Dumbo

Fear don dey catch you? You shall be given a special room with your sons in Kirikiri for looting the treasury of Jigawa. Dont worry.

  • Lamido has finished GEJ. He campaigns for Buhari at every stop. Most Northern Governors are afraid to mention Goodluck in their Campaigns. Most people appearing at GEJ campaigns are there to see the face of the man that is making our money to grow wings. Some are there to see him for the last time before Buhari sends him there. We all know Buhari, he has already mentioned the word” Kirikiri.

    • ikenna

How did Lamido finished GEJ when he asked his supporters to go and vote for PDP at all levels or you cannot understand English again. Where did he said don’t vote PDP or GEJ?.

      • Tomisin

Go and check the record since the inauguration and Campaigns started Lamido never mentioned Jonathan he even refused to attend there campaign in Lagos

        • ikenna

It is your understanding but let us wait till GEJ goes to Jigawa State and then if Lamido didn’t show up then you can say whatever you want to say because not all APC governor follow Buhari to any where he went to campaigned. Bola Tinubu has never showed up in any Buhari campaign so far but that doesn’t mean he is not supporting Buhari. So wait my bros, Don’t rush.

      • factual

Ikenna, Ikenna, Ikenna!!! Save yourself from embarrasment and accept it that Lamido is not campaigning for the Dumbo Jona. Why is it too difficult for you to comprehend simple fact.

      • tundemash

You understand English and yet you wrote “How did Lamido finished GEJ

        • Otile

You see, when he was responding to multiple mob members mugging him from all sides it is easy to make a mistake. You and I make the same mistakes every now and then, so you scored no point in harping on the mistake.

  • tundemash

We await the GEJ online e-rats to come and turn logic upside down and attack Lamido.

    • warry

Have you read the probe report on PTF? If your associates are doing unwholesome activities and you are there without knowing what is going on? Now which proof do you have on GEJ’s corruption.

    • ikenna

Attack him how or you couldn’t understand English language. Lamido is asking his supporters to go and vote PDP at all levels or did he said don’t vote PDP or GEJ? He is also questioning people that left PDP and went to APC. SO WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL HERE.

      • tundemash

and yet he claimed Buhari is incorruptible and honest.
I guess corruption is indeed mere stealing and not a big deal !

and you English man asked me “did he said don’t vote PDP or GEJ”. What exactly were you struggling to say ?

        • ikenna

You said GEJ online e-rats attacking Lamido and i asked you why will GEJ online attack Lamido because from what i read Lamido didn’t say anything bad on GEJ .He didn’t say don’t vote for GEJ neither did he said vote for the candidates of your choice. He said from this article Go and vote PDP at all levels.

          • kick ’em out

            Boy, you lack substance.

          • ikenna

            Low life

          • tundemash

            cl0wn … you don’t get it …. do you ?
A man told you Buhari is incorruptible and honest and same man was silent on Buhari’s opponent, what does that tell you ?

Secondly … you were insinuating I couldn’t understand English and yet in same statement you wrote bad English which I pointed out in bold for you and yet you still couldn’t get it.
And yet you hide under the anonymity of internet to request someone else should psot their certificate for you to verify when clearly you can’t comprehend ?????

          • ikenna

Someone said that people that turn to insults to prove themselves are low in self confidence that is why they always turn to insults. My brother you are a low life.

          • Bigwill

            Nice one Ikenna

          • tundemash

Olodo, i guess you first statement “Attack him how or you couldn’t understand English language. “ wasn’t an insult ? The more you talk the more you expose your stupid1ty, i guess you can’t take as much as you can give. Your brothers are the amnesty miscreants you smoke thatoke that “thing” with at the amnesty village !

          • Babandum

tundemash, you are too much! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! you are truly an e-rat bomb!

        • Otile

It is very hard to say that Imam Buhari is incorruptible after he perjured himself recently.

      • King Carlos

See you, did he say vote Jonathan? When Jonathan’s people were calling victims of terrorism, the sponsors, where were you. now no one had the guts to campaign for Jonathan in the north.

        • ikenna

          He will very soon

      • Bigwill

English master! them nor teach inference for secondary school? You guys should wake up and support the change that more than 70% eligible Nigerian voters stand for now!

    • Bigwill

Jonathan supporter! read in between the lines. Lamido is not for Jonathan.

  • ikenna

What is the fuss about this news? Lamido is hitting at Amaechi , Saraki and co who left PDP after benefiting so much and he also asked his supporters to vote for PDP at all levels. Please why did he said that they shouldn’t not vote for PDP or GEJ? Read and understand English before commenting.

  • Giganto

Someone had read and interpreted the writing to him correctly

  • Atom Ant

These PDP eccentricos have so much caught the Change bug that they have changed their confessions about GMB!
Exhibit A: “The fact that we have said that Buhari made suggestions or statements in the past (on Boko Haram) doesn’t mean that the government has evidence against him.” – Fani-Kayode (Director Media and Publicity GEJ Campaign Org.)
Exhibit B: “I agreed like every other person that Buhari is an incorruptible, honest, clean and patriotic Nigerian.” – Sule Lamido(GEJ Campaign co-ord. N/E)
These people are cunningly preparing the ground for their eventual shift of allegiance once GMB is sworn in on May 29th, 2015. Shame is not in FKK’s dictionary.

    • ikenna

So what did he said later: “My concern has always been defectors who our party, PDP, had made ministers, governors, speakers and members of the National Assembly and left us after benefiting so much,” he said.

Mr. Lamido urged the electorate in the area to vote for PDP candidates in the coming elections. Did he said vote for Buhari or don’t vote GEJ? What is your argument?

      • Yemi

Ikenna, there is what we called inference in semantics. If you are as intelligent as goodluck jonathan, you will not understand the underlined messages. It takes an intelligent person to infer that Lamido is saying Buhari is not corrupt like Gej and his supporters should only vote for pdp governorship candidate in the state

        • Kaine Dokubo

Your ‘inference’ argument is totally misplaced/unfounded! The governor’s speech is what you call ‘ugly engilsh.’ You need translation? I’ll gladly provide! He’s basically saying that I have 2 candidates that I ‘like’; one is a muslim like himself, and the other is gentleman setting Nigeria on the path to development. In the end, he’s settling for development — that’s all.

          • Yemi

He did not mention Muslim, development and jonathan. So your interpretation is mirage

          • tundemash

he’s under the influence of that “thing” they give them at the amnesty camp.

          • Otile

Do they forge certificates at the camp that you know?

          • checkmate

So you admit that the Muslim is incorruptible, honest and clean while the other man he didn’t mention is the opposite of the muslim one.

          • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

            Kaine Dokubo,

            You also have a Ph.D?

        • ikenna

Please has Bola tinubu campaigned with Buhari so far? How many APC governors followed Buari to campaign so far? Wait GEJ will so go to Jigawa State and then let us wait and see if Lamido will not show up. Don’t rush yet.

          • Yemi

Lamido is the northern coordinator of jonathan campaign. Me I have seen fashola, ameachi okorocha with Buhari o

          • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

            Plus Oshio, I believe.

        • One moment

          True talk

    • King Carlos

You are right, FFK can never redeem his lost image. He went back to share Jonathan’s loot.

      • One moment

        Good my people

  • Ola Onanugaola

Thank you Mallam Lamido, for being bold enough to say the truth.

Even PDP Governor acknowledging the goo virtues of the incoming President of Nigeria by God’s grace.

    Nothing more to add

    • One moment

Ur comment is a nice one. Pls GMB 2015 supporters let us not abuse any body rather we should be praying for the good of our dear country

      • humm

All that is required is trn out and vote on election day , period

      • Otile

It is impossible to figure out how not to offend APC people. You know, if you say something about certificate you have almost declared war on them. For all practical purposes the word certificate is a dirty word.

Divide Nigeria let people develop at their own pace. Many are dragged back because of corruption and crude oil.

  • Ajayi Ifayemi

What I am reading here is that for local elections in Jigawa vote PDP. For the national presidential election vote the honest incorruptible GMB. I hear you Governor. Everyone loves Buhari, even the opposition.

    • One moment

Yes Ooooo Ajayi you are right

  • zubes

PT. Help tell Gov. Lamido or whatever he said his name is, to kindly enrol in one of the Polytechnic around his vicinity so dat they can educate hm on d definition of Politics and different bw Political party and the religion he practice. He can only b a gonor in state lyk Jigawa. Shut up

  • Reality

We already know that about Buhari. A man of integrity and good character, How many Nigerians can describe the outgoing President the same way? Also, I will describe Jonathan as the worst President since the founding of this country.

    • VOTEoutGEJ!

    • Maria

WASC is not a requirement… it is primary school leaving certificate according to the constitution, illiterate. And where is Sambo’s certificate? Where is Jonathan’s fake PhD thesis?

      • tundemash

Let the e-rats read their book of LAMENTATIONS, it does not disturb the CHANGE train. Lamido too has caught the bug, let the e-rats keep ranting here.

      • Otile

Then show us Imam’s elementary school certificate, not a sworn affidavit.

Why do you require no certificate at all for Imam, but a PhD dissertation for Jonathan? What kind of justice is that? It sounds absurd.

    • tundemash

Omo Ole Orafidiya, keep ranting here … by the morning of Feb. 15th, reality would have taken your fantasy by then.

      • Omooba Adekunle Orafidiya

    • orkar

HE IS FULANI LIKE BUHARI—-WHAT ELSE DO U EXPECT—NA MU NEY

  • A. A

Look at this useless barawo speaking from both sides of his mouth. Lamido, what ever the case, President Dumbo will never forgive you. Just pray he loses the February election.

  • Bloodless

The truth of the matter is Lamido doesn’t actually support Buhari, but the problem is there is no candidate in the NW or NE part of Nigeria that can has any guarantee of Victor without aligning to Buhari, Lamido tried selling his candidates with GEJ but the reactions he got were terrible, he at first said he will do all he can to make sure he deliver his state to GEJ, he was prevented entrance to his local government where his security operatives shot 2 people. In his Facebook page he got no less than 3,000 abuses as comments that he had to address while introducing his gubernatorial candidate recently. Lamido now understood that his own candidates might not win by introducing them alongside GEJ, but still there are no much support since they do not support GMB, Lamido use to say his people should support the building from foundation uptil the lintel then from there they can choose what the wish to finish the building with, meaning his candidates in PDP should be support but for the Presidential his people should choose who the want to vote for, but still this doesn’t give his candidates the required popularity to win the election. It is then that Lamido understood that criticising GMB might cause him disgrace, selling his candidates without GMB is gives his people the long face, then supporting GMB alongside his candidates he realised puts a welcoming mood to his people, and this is why Lamido is today saying good about Buhari with a political undertone which doesn’t specifically portray who Lamido advises his people to vote for, so that he will not be doing an anti party activity by openly supporting GMB at the same time also avoiding any link with GEJ. Desperation is frequently making many PDP candidates aligning to GMB with their posters displaying them with GMB to win the trust of their people. Lamido included

    • Bob

Is that why all Niger state aspirants have theirs with Buhari? Even the governor

  • nmekamegbulem

This useless PDP governor is indirectly campaigning for Buhari, PDP should please monitor this mans activities. He has not been fair to the activities of PDP for some time now.

    • Remi

You must be living in the dark ages. Try and find out things about issues and rely less on rumors. The prestigious US war college has confirmed the 1980 diploma of Buhari. Wherther you like it or not Buhari is contesting to win and non issues like this will not stop him.

    show us buharis certificates biko-

South West coordinator of the Jonathan campaign and Ondo State governor Olusegun Mimiko said the South West was an educated region. He noted that, “This is why, among others, we will not settle for a President with less than a University degree.” Mimiko described President Jonathan as a cool headed leader who in spite of all the insults hurled at him has remained calm. “We thank you Mr. President that, in spite of being the most abused and negatively-profiled President in the history of this country, you have refused to roll out any obnoxious law of the semblance of Decree 2 of 1984,” Mimiko concluded

    • Aku

Were was Mimiko when others were ruling the country? God so kind he addmited that GMB has basic requirement. I now understand why top PDP members are not talking about cert anymore. You illiterates ones take note of that. You like it or not time has come.

    • Tonnero

What did you want Mimiko to say?

  • jack

Buhari is a failure!! The north will remain backward till 50yrs

    • rhad

where? be explicit to get befitting response. As you wish for the north so shall it be for you especially and part of it to your family but non to the region you are from. Intellectual bastard

    • Tonnero

Only in your class of corrupt people will Buhari be called a failure for not stealing. If you are not an Id!ot, you will understand that, compared to the rest of the world, Nigeria, including your village, is very backward. And your GEJ has no idea how to address that.

  • Otile

It is impossible to figure out how not to offend APC people. You know,
if you say something about certificate they take it to mean you have
started a war. The word certificate is a dirty word these days. This
makes me sad because most of us worked hard, studied hard, spent a lot of
money, and traveled far to acquire our certificates. Here APC people
are trying to make nonsense of our hard work. I guess part of the
reason is because almost all APC members did not have to work hard for
their credentials. Most of them had their tuition and boarding paid
with oil money from elementary to doctorate degrees.

    For example Musa
Yar’Adua’s son studying in Malaysia is surrounded with 3 beautiful
maids. Do I need to tell you that the guy never did dishes or ran an
errand in his life? But don’t be surprised he may spend 7 donkey years
there and come back empty handed. When he is old enough to rule Nigeria
APC will brandish the expensive overseas schools he attended and how
what he studied is equivalent or more than a Masters degree.

I know I will be roundly abused and insulted for saying this, but often many of us from certain ethnic groups do not feel we belong to Nigeria. We feel cheated by the corrupt system.

    • Bunduma Mohammed

PDP has no record of performnce and have no vision for Nigeria so when they campaign they use same old story of 2011; we would create 2 million jobs every year. The 2 million Jobs of lies by Ngozi Iweala. On the opposition since they have nothing they are holding on nothing Buhari cert. The idiots done’t even know the strengent requirements for promotion in the military. No amount of IBB , Pastors or OBJ would save Jonathan from Nigerians. Otuake straight

    • Aku

Do you think Nigerians will be carried away by mere reading what you contracted someone to dictate it for? What a shame! Now let me remind you, Yar’adua of blessed memory declared his assets but how comes Ogo Jona said “I don’t give a damn”? Back to cert issue if Jona is serious enough he should take INEC to court for accepting GMB’s affidavit after that he should tell Nigerians what he did to them in his six years of inept governance.

    • Tonnero

Most APC members did not work hard for their certificates? You must be drinking too much ogogoro as usual. The VP candidate for APC is a professor of law unlike your dumbo who has a PhD but has the mental capacity of a secondary school person who attempted but did not pass WAEC? Or do you want to compare the chairman of APC with that of PDP in terms of mental capacity and moral rectitude? Or is it Akpabio you want to compare with Fashola? Or do you want to compare the intellectual underpinning of the programmes in APC states which is based on the concept of social justice and the maximum benefit for the greatest number to that of the PDPS? Oh! I forgot. PDP has no coherent programme as a party. Like I said, you must be drunk. If you are angry that Yar’Adua’s children have ladies around them, when you have your kids, let them do the same.

  • Omo Akin

Apart from the distractions by the e-rats, it appears most of the genuine folks who weighed in on this Lamido issue do not understand politics. In the mid-term election in the USA last November, Obama was so unpopular in some states that the Democrat candidates in those states had to distance themselves from Obama. There were, however, some other states where Obama was popular and he went there to campaign for Democrats.
In Jigawa, the governor who is there on the ground knows that the President is very unpopular there. The governor is smart enough to know that emphasizing the top of PDP ticket (Jonathan) will negatively impact the chances of the other people on the ticket. Can you now see why the people the southerners derisively portray as not knowing anything are actually more politically sophisticated and enlightened that the rest of the country. If Yardua had not died, he would have easily won re-election because he was fair to every section of the country and never allowed his people to deride and abuse others.
That President Jonathan could squander the massive political support that he got in 2011 in less than 3 years shows poor political skills. In 2011, he asked people to vote for him and not to think about him as PDP and promised to bring a breath of fresh air. But he became more PDP and saw everyone save his Ijaw kinsmen as enemy.

GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI SUED TO COURT:
AS ACADEMICALLY UN-QUALIFIED TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT

A researcher and public affairs analyst, Mr Nkemjika
Nkemjika has filed a suit before a Federal High Court in Abuja seeking to stop
President Goodluck Jonathan from contesting the February 14 presidential election.

In an originating summons by his counsel Chris Ugwuala,
Nkemjika seeks a declaration that the two terms limit allowed Jonathan under
the 1999 Constitution as democratically elected president shall expire on May 29, 2015.

    • Al Hassan

      @ Newsbreak:

Stop telling lies all over the place! Nobody sued Buhari for not having school certificate.
Nobody will sue him by God’s grace. Nobody in Nigeria will remember to sue him for this.
By February 14th it would be too late to sue him. He will be sworn in without school cert.

    • Eleme

Which lawyer took this yeye case to court? What’s the lawyer’s name, please!
Two terms will EXPIRE after only one (1) election? Nigerian lawyers are silly.

      • Etomi

Calm down…If you are sure that Buhari is qualified to contest in the Feb. election you will have no fear if anybody took him to court…
Like my mother of blessed memory would say: a clear conscience fears no accusation…
But I must assure you that a 1,001 suits in respect of Buhari’s eligibility to contest in the coming election shall be heard by our courts once the JASUN strike is called off!!!!

        • mk

You shud have advice GEJ to call up the strike since its important to him..oh is it because of his failures they are on strike again?

    • Aku

PDP and its allies… to late to cry when the head is… !

  • warry

Any Nigerian who passed his exams because he has the ability to understand issues when explained to him and turn around to vote for the one who fails exams because he can’t understand anything should check himself. Buhari didn’t know what he was doing as Governor, pet.minister, Head of state PTF chairman, and people want to reward him with the presidency because some dishonest Nigerians are explaining his ignorance as fighting corruption. Shame on those persons. If it is only illiterates supporting him I could understand.

    • Bigwill

You are the number one illiterate for supporting a man whose tenure has recorded the highest corruption rate in the history of Nigeria. Shame on you…………

    • Hah!

… But the illiterates have a voting right abi?

      • Aku

Yes of course but the idiots seems to have forgotten.

    • Bunduma Mohammed

Buhari Passed Brtish and American War Colleges but Jonathan used ogoro to bribe lecturers at Uniport.

    • Aku

Go and bury yourself in shame because I understand you are one of those panicking with the leadership of patriotic Nigerians like GMB. I believe other corrupt countries will grant you asylum if so applied by a teammate like you.

  • Bunduma Mohammed

Sule we have since known that you are worthless.

  • Eze1

    Lamido tacitly supports GMB

    • Mr. Abdin

Lamido has no option because if the sun comes out no hands can block it.

      • Ginger

        You are right,

  • Etomi

This bloody saboteur needs no reply….
A fifth columnist in campaign mode for darkness!!!!
    Buhari is EVIL oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

    • Ginger

Better take your loot and leave this country, FAST. To criminals, rapists, drug dealers, robbers and corrupters, Buhari really IS evil indeed. That of course, if Buhari don’t bring you back in a crate.

  • Okwuchukwu

The problem is that while GMB might be “incorruptible”, but the PCP defectors and APC seniors who joined him are far from innocent. He is gathering as much support as possible to win this election, but within his ranks are very corrupt people (Ahmed Tinubu, Rotimi Amaechi, Rochas Okorocha, Bukola Saraki, and Father Ejike Mbaka of them all…). Why is he taking them in, and working with their dirty money ? Will he also jail them, since they are now his party members? This very much goes against his anti-corruption stance and just goes to show how eager he is to be in power. He was an authoritative power hungry autocrat back in 83, and still is. Everybody seems to have forgotten that.

    • Ginger

Like GEJ, Buhari knows there will always be crooks around him. But unlike GEJ, Buhari knows how to handle them, not vice versa.

  • Uju

That’s right Buhari is incorruptible… maybe its because his military training or because last time he lead the country was through a coup d’état establishing a regime where small crimes were prosecuted with death! Let’s face it corruption in Nigeria is everywhere, is he going to jail and kill everyone including his entourage? I don’t think so!

  • Franklin Coteh

I see a lot of people saying that GMB is not corrupt or that he hates corruption. But I’d like these people to tell me how someone like GMB who has allegedly never stole a dime from Nigeria treasury been able to raise the financial chest to fund three political campaigns within a decade and now a fourth one?

  • Akinfenwa Mikel

Even if Buhari is somehow a man of integrity — and I would argue, based on his history as a failed dictator, failed governor, failed presidential candidate, that he is not — it is laughable to think that he won’t be guilty of corruption should he be elected. Corruption in Nigeria is inbred and endemic, and it’s not going anywhere soon, so for Buhari to run on a campaign of eradicating corruption shows how politically naive he really is. More, many of Buhari’s top sponsors in politics, religion and business are guilty of corruption themselves! How can anyone expect the man in charge to be immune??

  • Nkechi

We all know that Sule Lamido gave his children and friends all the contracts in Jigawa. He is one of the most corrupt leaders in Nigeria. Our problem with this Sule Lamido is he is using innocent boys like Dr. Nurudeen Muhammad to do his dirty work. Was it not the other day we saw Zulai, the wife of Nurudeen Muhammad with one of Sule’s wives squandering money in thousands of dollars in shops abroad recently. The woman even had the odesity to be desrespectul when we tried to take pictures. these guys are nothing but thieves. Nuruden will fall with Sule with all the thieving going on

  • zuberu

Which Buhari?? the one who dealt with indiscipline by flogging people to queue at bus-stops. He dealt with food shortages by sending soldiers to break into private warehouses and shops. He fought trade imbalances by taking Nigeria back to the stone age of trade by barter (counter-trade). He sought to extradite a Nigerian from Britain by drugging and crating him ???? no way. GEj is the man.. #GEJ4NIJA

    • Ginger

Trade imbalances? Under PDP, we don’t have anything to balance our trade – PDP has sold out Nigeria . GEJ is the man until Nigeria kicked him out on March 28. Lets give more crates to Buhari.

  • zuberu

Or is it the Buhari In the election of the OAU Secretary-General in 1985, Buhari voted against Nigeria and for Niger instead. He secured the election of Ide Oumarou, a Fulani man from Niger; as opposed to an Igbo man from Nigeria. By so doing, Buhari became the first and only Head of State in the history of modern international relations to vote against his country in favour of his tribe??? No we don’t need him.. GEJ is all we want
    .. #GEJ4NIJA

    • Ginger

Buhari is the new president – Nigeria have decided already.

  • zuberu

Or again, is it the Buhari who became Nigeria’s Head of State through the corruption of a coup d’état and he then tried to fight corruption with corruption. Imposing retroactive decrees and killing Nigerians under them is corruption. Putting an Igbo vice-president in Kirikiri, Ambrose Ali, Michael Ajasin in jail etc, while placing the Fulani president under palatial house arrest, is corruption. With this few one will not be carried away by the word change. vote wisely! #GEJ4NIJA

    • Ginger

This time, Nigerians hope Buhari don’t just jail or house arrest them – the firing squads have long been inactive in Kirikiri – it’s about time to make the squads active again, very active, very soon.

  • Ginger

“”Buhari incorruptible, honest”, Gov. Lamido corruptible, dishonest. Don’t worry Gov Lamido, nice words don’t make the general forget your corruption in Jigawa.
