  • Holy Saint

    Show of unity indeed!

  • Onyebuchi

Just read it to make sure. There is nobody on the list from my state. What a sigh of relief. Don’t want anyone from my state identified with Boko Haram sympathizers.

    • tundemash

yeah we didn’t include those who were cross-bred with animals ….. which jungle is yours you were so proud of you kept it anonymous?

      • Mosaku 147

He is from that area in Ebonyi state were their main occupation is street hawking and houseboy plus armed robbery and drug peddling not forgetting kidnapping.

    • Mosaku 147

We don’t want anybody from your state on our Aso express train, that’s why you can’t find your people in our campaign team.

    • Richard

I’m afraid the people from your state would be left behind because Nigerians are on the move. Change is inevitable in Nigeria.

    • Abdullahi Abba Bukar

Are there Boko Haram sympathizers more than those who move freely with their alleged sponsors? We have seen in different media where GEJ moves and holding night meetings with Sheriff. Boko Haram was just crafted to decived unintelligent people like you. Just study deeply to find out. Permit me to give you a little guide, was it is a Muslim that bailout the leader of Boko Haram in the person of Mohammed Yusuf when he was arrested? Who supply arms to Boko Haram? Was there a time an arrest was made at Nsuka, Nigeria of people of Non-Muslims extraction and of non-northern extraction with arms enroute to Boko Haram?

    • Spoken word

You are a small minded individual and I am sure you will remain that way.

    • Maria

Like Alli Modu Sherrif… the GEJ2015 Boko haram campaign director.

    • john jones

      Your wahala just dey start

    • John

Well APC avoided states with Boko Haram sponsors and since you are same state as Ihejirika, you can’t be part of the peacefull, corrupt-free, nationalistic, association that will bring change to Nigeria. You are very bad rubbish…

  • Arewabetter

After a careful analysis of the list of GMB’s Campaign Committee, I have noticed only one (1) woman. I hope when GMB assumes office he will do his possible best to eliminate gender inequality in all aspects of live. Women’s political and economic participation as well as empowerment are fundamental to strengthening women’s rights and enabling women to have control over their lives and exert influence in society. Empowering women is about creating just and equitable societies. Women often face discrimination and persistent gender inequalities, with some women experiencing multiple
discrimination and exclusion because of factors such as ethnicity or caste. The former President of the United States of America in the person of Bill Clinton once said “Women perform 66 percent of the world’s work, and produce 50 percent
of the food, yet earn only 10 percent of the income and own just one (1) percent of the property. Whether the issue is improving education in the developing world, or fighting global climate change, or addressing nearly any other challenge we face, empowering women is a critical part of the equation.” The economic empowerment of women is a prerequisite for sustainable development, pro-poor growth and the achievement of all the Millennium Development Goals set by the
United Nations. Gender equality and empowered women are catalysts for multiplying development efforts. Investments in gender equality yield the highest returns of all development investments. Women usually invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. A study in Brazil showed that the likelihood of a child’s survival increased by 20% when the mother controlled household income. Increasing the role of women in the economy is part of the solution to the financial and economic crises and critical for economic resilience and growth. However, at the same time, we need to be mindful that women are in some contexts bearing the costs of recovering from the crisis, with the loss of jobs, poor working conditions and increasing precariousness. Higher female earnings and bargaining power translate into greater investment in children’s education, health and nutrition, which leads to economic growth in the long term. Total agricultural outputs in Africa could increase by up to 20% if women’s access to agricultural inputs was equal to men’s.

    • Northerner

Women should be in the kitchen and then ride the big snake at night!

      • Arewabetter

I really feel sorry for you, because you seem to be an element standing against the development and prosperity of Nigeria. Without the support and empowerment of women politically and economically, the nation will continue to regress. Most probably, you did not go through my whole comment on gender inequality. By the way, I am absolutely convinced that you are not a northerner!

        • Northerner

I’m a northerner! And I believe GEJ is the right man who can easily revolutionize Nigeria! GEJ is the only President in West Africa who respect women so much that he will give Ngozi Iweala presidential ticket in 2019. Sai Jonathan! GEJ muke so!

          • Arewabetter

Please, read some of my comments and elaborations about Nigeria, especially regarding good governance and you will definitely get know who you are dealing you. I have to go and get some sleep now as it is getting to midnight in my place and I have an early morning lecture with students. Have a nice day in Nigeria!

          • Northerner

I’m not in Nigeria! And it’s late here as well! 1:33am! But I have time for trolls like u! GEJ2015

          • Maria

            Fake northerner.

          • Northerner

Ko. Duk yadda hannu ka Ya rube ba ka cire shi ka yarda.

          • smart

My fellow good Nigerian. I don’t think this person so called “northerner” deserve ur tym n response. Pls kip on ur good work.

      • TrueNja

You’re dead wrong. Nowadays, men are better cooks

        • Northerner

Na lie! Although some women are shit in kitchen but a pen is mightier than the sword!

    • Wähala

I noticed two, obviously you were not careful enough with your analysis…
Hajjia Ramatu and Sharon Ikeazu sound like lollies. Other abbreviated names could belong to women…

      • john jones

Then let the part address this immediately. We cannot afford any kind of ambiguity at this time. As soon as issues are raised let them be immediately addressed. Please we cannot afford to alienate anyone at this time

      • Arewabetter

Thank you so much Wahala for enlightening me about the number of women on GMB’s Campaign Council. Someone has informed me that there four (4) women on that list. Anyway, taking into consideration the persistence of gender inequality, I hope you will agree with me that four (4) is still a small number.

        • Wähala

Yeah, I actually hoped one of the political parties would field a female VP candidate as starters… sha, not to be, must wait longer. Respect!

    • disqus_AmgOh3PE0E

There are four (4) women on the list above, and they are:-
Hajia Ramatu Tijjani (National Women Leader APC)
Hon A Dabiri Erewa (Member of the HOR, currently the chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora Affair)
Hon Temi Harriman (a former member of the HOR. solicitor and advocate of the supreme court)
Sharon Ikeazor (Lawyer and APC BOT member)
By the way I do not belong to any of the political parties in Nigeria and would not even be available to vote.

      • Arewabetter

Thank you so much for enlightening me about the number of women on GMB’s Campaign Council.Taking into consideration the persistence of gender inequality, I hope you will agree with me that four (4) is still a small number.

    • smart

Yeah dats tru but I think the priority now is to defeat PDP first. Other issues should arise later

  • emmy

If Buhari and Osinbajo are voted into power there will be a lot of honesty in Nigeria’s polity. And Pastor Osinbajo shall be another potential Nigerian president by God’s grace. Mark my words. Professor Dora Akunyili of blessed memory worked with Buhari as Zonal Sec. PTF and was also recommended for the boss of NAFDAC by the same Buhari because of her honesty in serving her country. Now Nigerians will never forget her.

    • Northerner

I’m a hardcore PDP supporter, but I want change! GMBosinbajo

      • emmanuel

        You are APC, keep quiet.

You have always conned readers with your comment. Some days you say you are Igbo or you are. A Christian.

But we know you are a die hard Fulani Islamist

        • Northerner

Emma just shut up! Yes I’m a Muslim, but I’m honestly a PDP supporter! I never said any of those shit u posted, u just a 24/7 troll!

      • Wähala

You may be a sympathizer but no “hardcore PDP supporter” abandons ship because they’re hardcore criminals. Think of Baba Iyabo, card-carrying PDP member… APC at heart. Kapisch?

      • john jones

        Thank you

      • john jones

        Thank you

  • mike

I do not see my name any where! Hope this train will not leave me behind.
Also, I did not see oga Jona’s name as campaign director. This is unfair. Do you mean to tell me that after so much lack-luster performance which has contributed immensely to the rise and rise of the APC, he would not be given that coveted position?

    • funny

Hahaha. That’s true my brother. Atleast Jonathan and bamanga tukur should be council members.

    • john jones

I agree but he says he doesn’t want pdp to know that he’s packed and ready for otuoke or whatever he decides to go hide

  • emmanuel

$8,000.00 primary election bribe is a sign of the life ahead if Buhari is elected.

    • Realnigerian
