APC appoints Rivers Governor, Amaechi, presidential campaign director

Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi.

The All progressives Congress, APC, has appointed the Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi, the Director General of its party’s presidential campaign.

APC has former head of State, Muhammadu Buhari as its flag bearer after he beat four other candidates at the party’s national convention in Lagos last week.

Mr. Buhari had yesterday also named law professor, Yemi Osinbajo, his running mate.

The appointment of Mr. Amaechi was contained in a statement by the spokesperson of the APC, Lai Mohammed, on Thursday in Abuja.

See full test of the statement below:

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has named Gov. Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State as the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Organization, which will drive the party’s efforts to win the 2015 presidential election.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, the party said the announcement followed the hugely successful convention at which its presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, was democratically elected, and the follow-up successful choice of his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN.

It said Gov. Amaechi’s outstanding reputation as a man of courage, principle, strength of character, decency and love of country, as well as his administrative prowess and organizational skills combined to fetch him perhaps the most important task in the quest for positive change in Nigeria.

APC thanked Nigerians for their support and prayers toward the success of the convention, the emergence of Gen. Buhari as the APC presidential candidate and the choice of Prof. Osinbajo as his running mate.

The party said it believed it had lived to its promise to Nigerians to ensure that the choice of its presidential running mate would be made within the context of the best democratic ideals, considering the enormously-positive reactions from the general public to the choice of Prof. Osinbajo.

“With a presidential candidate that has rekindled the hopes of the citizenry and revived their belief in democratic ideals, we believe we must also choose a running mate that will complement the sterling qualities of the presidential candidate. We must confess that the choice was a tough one, considering the array of eminently-qualified and outstanding candidates that we had to choose from.

“Yes, we were spoilt for choice but, in the end, we picked as running mate a man whose pedigree, nationally, sub-regionally, regionally and globally, attests to the fact that our party, the APC, is a repository of high quality leadership materials, and that our country, Nigeria, has no shortage of the very best human resources,” it said.

APC said whether in the academic, legal or ecclesial world, Prof. Osinbajo stands much taller than his physical frame, and serves as a good accompaniment to our presidential candidate, himself a man of such rare sterling qualities that have stood the test of time, qualities that are now so sorely lacking in our country’s leadership.

“Our presidential running mate is an award-winning professor of law, a legal luminary, a gentleman, a much-sought-after public speaker, a tested administrator, an author and a man of great ecclesiastical standing.

“Educated in Nigeria and the UK, Prof. Osinbajo is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, who has served in many organizations and professional bodies in Nigeria, West Africa, Africa and the United Nations. He has authored or edited over a dozen publications, has taught and practised law at the high levels, and has served on the Editorial Boards of learned publications and non-legal publications, in addition to publishing many articles in learned journals.

“Now that we have presented Nigerians with the best possible choices for the exalted positions of President and Vice President, we expect that citizens, who have been yearning for quality leadership, will use their voting power to put Nigeria firmly on the path of greatness. A country seeking to be among the greats in the comity of nations cannot afford to have a mediocre leadership,” the party said.

    • Ay Pointblank

      Okoro thinking!

  • longben

Wow, 17billion naira to get employed as a campaign director? Maybe Riverians should begin their own #bringbackour17billionnaira campaign. This is what FELA would call “expensive shit”

    • TRUTH MASTER

      Very cheeky and silly comment!

      • longben

Which one are you, a monkey or a baboon? Just let us know

        • kammykazee

If only you know the meaning of imam

          • Otile

In Arewa an Imam is a worshiper who leads the recitation of prayer when two or more worshipers are present.

By law if there are Northern and Southern umaa worshiping together and there is no Northern man around a Northern Musulima is in duty bound to lead prayers even if the Southern umaa present are all men. So, a woman can be an imam too, no big deal.

        • kammykazee

fyi, ‘Imam’ in arabic means Leader. Its good you accept these people as your leader.

    • shivy

Have u forgotten that pope Jonathan is one of the richest president on the planet

The SS&SE is not poor, we are blessed and abundantly rich–Nigeria has made us poor but we are not and we have decided to take our destiny into our hands by seceding from that fraudulent matrimonial Union christened by idiotic Lugard–to thy tenths oh Israel

Amalgamation expired midnight 1st January 2014!

    • Otile

My brother that’s exactly what Asiwaju and Imam Buhari are doing to us right now. They must be giving themselves hi5 at one corner the mosque where they are giving thanks to Allah for the fall our our mugu Rauf.

    • bugwu

      Rubbish strategy

  • the truth

Lol from vp to campaign manager. I guess the billions of Rivers State money was for you to become campaign manager. Amaechi rivers state civil servants are been owed 3 months of salary, the state ministry of housing has not been paid since July. All because of your selfish and greedy agenda you invested rivers collective wealth on sponsoring buhari, and now you have been used and dumped. You stabbed your brother at the back because you were used. May the cries and pains of rivers state civil servants be your portion. This people have dilligently gone to work daily and just for your political ambition you would make families have a bad christmas. UST lecturers still been owed backdated salaries for 6 months now. • Oche Joseph Otorkpa

Following his massive display in the dollar rain that took place during the APC Presidential primaries which saw him splashing  out a massive $10,000 per delegate !
The All progressive congress has once again called on their ATM machine (aka the fly that follows the corpse to the grave) to lead the campaign of the perpetually unelectable veteran of Nigerian Presidential elections his excellency Baba GMB!

Whether the prodigal son has agreed to further loot the state for a course that Nigerians have rejected on three occasions remain to be seen !

Nigerians and indeed the good people of rivers state will continue to hope that the remaining balance in the state treasury will be channelled towards solving the myriad of challenges that confronts the garden city

    May common sense prevail

  • Goodluck_Nigeria

I will never, ever blame them ……….. Amaechi is willing to be used …….. Let them use him …… my only sympathy is with the people of Rivers State.

    • Preco01

      • the truth

May God punish your mouth. Do you know pains and suffering this people are going through because of this man’s greed. We are talking about a man that is owing rivers state civil servants arrears of 3 months salary. I pray you report to work for 3 months without getting paid. This man syphoned rivers state money to sponsor buhari with the promise of vp, only to be dumped and used.

        • Leslie

And what are we going through under GEJ?Goat!

          • the truth

Judas Iscariot of Port Harcourt becomes APC’s Houseboy
    =====================================================

    Contribution to National Treasury
    ———————————
    South = 62%
    North = 0%
    East = 34%
    West = 4%
    (Total = 100%)

Occupation of Presidency (Percentage expressed in terms of no of years in Government)
    ————————————————————————————-
    South = 7.4% (i.e., 4/54yrs)
    North = 72.2% (i.e., 39/54yrs)
    West = 20.4% (i.e., 11/54yrs)
    East = 0.0% (i.e., 0/54yrs)
    (Total= 100%)

With the statistics above, the Judas Iscariot of Port Harcourt deserve to be castrated if he accepts this position. This is not even a third fiddle position, probably an eleventh or thirteenth fiddle. We elders of PH have been telling Judas to change that his name ‘Rotimi’. Yes! That his Oluwole name is his problem. Otherwise why is he the only Southern Governor who is betraying the Niger Delta?…anyway, I pity him, bcos when Wike becomes Governor he will help us expose all the monies Judas siphoned to Katsina.

    • Otile

What do you mean by division? You are glad that Rauf is behaving like the Prodigal son, squandering our wealth with prostitutes and con-men in the NW and SW regions. • Tufiakwa

His Excellency Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi,
Congratulations Your Excellency sir. This appointment amply testifies to your generosity and ability to manage the enormous wealth of Rivers State for the good of all. I understand that you ran out of Goodluck while Bokohari and Thiefnubu negotiated which of his errand boys will take the position of VP. Given that you have been recognized for your ability to share the commonwealth of Rivers State, a little more Patience will get you where you want to be: national recognition for your wisdom and ability to endure pain and humiliation. Press ahead sir.
    Yours faithfully,
    Tufiakwa, Tufiakwa, Tuuuufiakwa!

  • DESTINY,

Ameachi, a campaign manager for APC after spending more than 25 billion naira, within a combined period of two years, for a party that promise him a Vic,president. it is absurd and total disregard for the person of Ameachi and the entire South south. in the manner he has been used by APC. and that means he is going to sponsored APC, presidential campaign through out the 36 state of Nigeria with rivers state fund. because nobody in that APC wil be ready to bring out a penny for a presidential election they all knows that Jonathan will win even with one vote.

    • Manillow

Where is the source of ur information on how much Ameachi has spent? U be complete MUMU…..

  • Asuquo Etinan

How will Rotimi Amaechi sell a very opaque Pastor Yemi Osinbajo even to the people of Akwa Ibom?
Rotimi Amaechi may not make a success of this job. This APC ticket kills enthusiasm of Nigerians.
For 24 hours, northerners have withdrawn into their shells as Bola Tinubu has ruined APC’s chances.

    • Otile

My brother, didn’t I tell you that APC will self-destruct?

  • Smith Scott

Na naf I dey naf. They used you spent billions in Buhari primaries, ask you to help attack GEJ with the promise of VP. At the negotiation table Tinubu camp boldly told you that your zone contributed nothing to victory of Buhari. They even told you that some of you came to pursue your personal ambition in APC. Now they have promised you Minister of Petroleum to help campaign. At the end they will dump you again.

  • Ay Pointblank

It is interesting reading these illiterate Alaba market igbos opinion! No wonder they are so backward!!! Gosh!!!!

The sacrifice and nationalistic tendencies of each and every leader in the APC is worthy of commendation and will forever be remembered in the annals of our country. From Tinubu to Amaechi to Atiku to Kwankwaso to okorocha to the unsung heroes like udoedeghe in Akwa Ibom, the candidates who stepped down for gemade, tambuwal, ortom in Benue, and many others, the party and history will forever be fair on you.
The race to get PDP out of the centre isn’t a mere walk in the park, it takes sacrifice and commitment to the course and one feel so happy the way things are falling in place without any cry of disappointment. for those that believe Ameachi was robbed/relagated are just uninformed people that have internet by chance.
A keen follower of the countrys affairs should know that the motivation driving Ameachi, asides for the progress of the country, is to see Jonathan leave Aso rock, the guy has thrown enough stones at Jonathan, Jonathan on the other hand has tried everything within his power to dethrone Ameachi. But Ameachi being a grassroot politician, that knows the intricacies of politics has shown this overtime inspite of Federal might battling him…from Legislative war to Judicial war. May you succeed in this new venture. Even those who defend this administration know that this government cannot be defended without hurting their conscience. This government has literally brought Nigeria to her knees. Nigeria is begging to be rescued.Long live the PROGRESSIVE, this party has really shown what it takes to be a political party. APC CHANGE!!!!!!!!

Ameachi don’t want to accept this position. The only thing he is thinking now is what Wike and Patience will say. He is so proud that he doesn’t know how far the shame will go.

    • Manillow

Look at ur English, what is “Ameachi don’t want to…..”, The verb should be a 3rd person singular it shd read “Ameach doesn’t want to…..”. Why do u choose to come and display ur stupidity in public arena, must u talk becos others are talking? What u are even saying does not in anyway make sense, beer parlor gossip as usual with people as senseless as u….

  • DESTINY,

for accepting’ the position of presidential campaign manager of APC. really confirms Ameachi curiosity in making sure that Jonathan his brother, and in-law, is out of Aso roock. but it will be very sad and terribly unfortunate if Jonathan wins the 2015 election. because what happened to James ibori for bribing the senate with billions, in making sure that Jonathan is not confirmed as the president of Nigeria. to the detriment of his best friend and former colleague in the governors forum musa yaradua. will happen at worst degree to Ameachi.

    • eddy

If Jonathan is his brother in-law and he has a genuine cause for wanting him out of office, he Jonathan as a patriotic Nigerian should not hold it against him and this is what our politicians and every Nigeria must learn if we must move this country forward. Anything less than this tantamount to keep silent even when things are going wrong. Unless there is a proof of course that he is acting out of bitterness.

  • Amaechi Okezie

Congratulation Gov. Amaechi. As for ideots writing nonsense here for there selfish sentimental reasoning….They Nation is moving on and the change is real…I know say una de cry Oooo the Gov is moving higer and by the grace of God he will deliver. Up up APC down down pdp

  • ceweeco projects

Buhari is going to go down in history as the oldest man who has contested for a presidential seat for four times and never won. He is an expired general who still lives in the past glory after 30 years. Supporters of Buhari don’t see far. Children that were born when Buhari was in power are today fathers and mothers, and someone is still clamoring for him. What a call for a return back to Egypt! I reject it o!!

Buhari was born on December 17,1942 and ruled this country as the 7th head of state of Nigeria by December 31, 1983 – August 27, 1985. Precisely he was 41yrs old when he became the head of state. My first son was born on Dec 31st 1980. When he was a little boy his teacher and l always reminds him that he is the leader of tomorrow. whenever he misbehaved as a Child at home and got punished by me, his mom will always run to his rescue, while shouting ” please leave my son alone, he is one of the leaders of tomorrow”. When he got enrolled into secondary school, his principal always reminds him of that phrase ” leaders of tomorrow” at the assemble ground. When he got into university as an adult, he was having this desire and was fully motivated to study harder whenever his lecturer refers him as the leader of tomorrow.

Now he have finished studing and there is no Job for him and his ”fellow leaders of tomorrow colleague”. They the leaders of tomorrow have had no Job that will help them to become good followers in order for them to have leadership experience today. The selfish, outdated and naive leaders have denied them the Jobs. Because they are afraid they will do better than them when they have good experience through good jobs.

At age 41 Buhari was a leader, and at age 71 he is wildly aspiring to come back to lead the leaders of tomorrow……..lol…. Now I have a question to ask. why must a leader that have ruled this country before Muh’d was born (BMB), would want to rule the country after Muh’d was born (AMB)? Even If the pendulum swings to north tomorrow, does it mean that the so called good leader (Buhari) have not led any of the so called “leaders of tomorrow” in the north to become a leader today?

If Buhari have not groomed up any of the” life time leaders of tomorrow to become leader of today, it means he is not a good leader and he’s a wicked, selfish leader that has stoöd against the growth of his followers even the growth of his son. Because i believe his son should be up to 41yrs if at all he led himself well in his family planning.

Everyday Musa is a boy. When will Musa becomes a man and Musa junior becomes a boy?

    • Devil is a liar

I feel you. I have no issues or hatred towards GMB unlike those who spew hatred towards our President. But for crying out loud, he’s too old for modern day Nigeria, and those who support him are mere selfish, narrow minded individuals who hardly see beyond their nose. Their treachery to run the government aground with preference for an old conservative is far beyond intellectual reasoning. Win or lose, the history books will hold them accountable for their deeds, likewise GEJ. It’s really surprising how the last few years was focused on making the country ungovernable by political miscreants, but I’m glad to say that the majority see the light. I’d rather deal with a man more in tune with 21st century technology and strategies. We don’t want an elderly ranka dede leader who’ll be manipulated by the foxes and 419ers doing their yahoo yahoo on him without him even knowing it. God please, nooooo!, Not just for the sake of change??? We could get that change by supporting the President and airing our views….HE’S A MODERN, LISTENING PRESIDENT WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

      • Manillow

How old was John McCain when he contested against Obama? How old was Nelson Madela when he became the SA President? How old was Ronald Reagan when he became the best Republican President of America? Wake up, don’t let ur sentiment becloud ur sense of reasoning and patriotism.

        • ceweeco projects

The issue is did any of these mention leaders by you forget anything in their time of rulership to what and come back?

You have said your son doesn’t have job because of selfish and old leaders. Who is ruling today? I mean under whose administration your son couldn’t get job? Under the old and expired General Buhari or under the young, strong, vibrant, lively, intellectual, intelligent, expedient Dr Goodluck Jonathan? So, what is the correlation between your son not getting job and the age of the ruler? You are even lucky your son has survived the stadium stampede during the immigration recruitment scandal under our strong, healthy and your Savior and Jesus Christ Ebele Jonathan (apology to Doyin Okupe). Had it been that your son was among the dead and your able and active president didn’t give a damn then you would not have written this fiction. Luckily enough your son only forfeited the money he paid in the process. On the serious note Sir let me tell you that the situation in Nigeria is not about the age of the leader. If it is the age that matters then we prefer the old man who may have less ambitions because he knows he is close to his grave. It is that ambition perhaps that made Jonathan’s govt the most corrupt in the history of Africa. I would rather vote for an old man rather than the young who is controlled by FEMALE ministers (refer to Obasanjo’s book). There is difference between your body’s age and your actual age. Someone may be older or younger than his actual age. Buhari is younger than his age. His brain is still functioning. He still thinks very well. How could you imagine Jonathan would behave when he reaches 70 years? At his current age and holding a PhD in whatever he has to listen to a 17- year old girl- Malala to tell him how he should rule his people. So you are free to choose between age and brain.

1679days is 4yrs 7months 9days!! Obviously, GEJ has nothing to offer to Nigeria or Nigerians

  • Etomi

    Would Amaechi ever learn?
He whom the gods wills to destroy, they maketh mad…
Amaechi would rather be used by devils than by God….
And after doing the gravest damage to his own kinsman, he fails to clinch the VP ticket of APC…
I am not disappointed…losing all self-awareness is the hallmark of insanity…
Just wondering what he stands to gain after all said and done…
For one, Buhari (the man who committed the greatest fraud in the nation’s history and for a show parrots that he has only one house to prove his holier-than-thou slur) can never become Nigeria’s president…
Amaechi must end up a loser like his serial failure principal Buhari…

    • Ha

I would rather live with animals than with some people. What do you mean by “his own kinsman”??? Do you ever know that if it is about politics of ‘KINSMANSHIP’ Jonathan and anyone from SS will never rule Nigeria? Don’t you ever think that it is other people’s kinsmen that took Jonathan to that office? Was Obasanjo Jonathan’s kinsman? Were the likes of IBB, Abdussalam, Shagari, Sule Lamido, Shema, Tanko Yakasai etc, etc Jonathan’s kinsmen? Why can’t you people ever come out from your ancesstoral curse of ignorance? Why do you want to crucify Amechi on his fundamental human right? I tell you that if everyone is to stick only to his kinsmen the presidency will only rotate between the North and the Southwest. Nonesense. No wonder you produced Jonathan. You are all like him. Fish brain.

      • Save Nigeria Father

Well spoken my brother. i wish they will come alive to consciousness of the fact of the sufferings of over 160million Nigerians than their myopic reasoning of their kinsmen. It is about Nigeria and not River state, SS or SE but at the same time your North and the SW political calcultion has done us no good as a nation because it is not always a product of justice and fair play.

        • Ha

Of course, that is something we should all come together to address and forget our differences. Our differences are always in the best interests of our selfish leaders. Divide and rule tactics which the common man refused to understand.

      • AJ

Very well said. The abuse at the tail end was however unnecessary.

        • Ha

Thanks for the observation my bro.

      • Etomi

        Imbecile like you…
Your ill-breeding and BAD English aside, you
sound far more “ethnicists,” just like depraved sexists, racists or even
fundamentalist, with your “Why can’t YOU PEOPLE come out of your
        ANCESSTORAL curse or ignorance…”
Thought I was the only one with
primordial leanings; but reading you, I see you guilty of the same
charge, as your rejoinder easily gives you away as all the more
perverted in your own prejudicial ways….
Is it for nothing that when
Nigeria’s founding fathers in the late 50’s and early 60’s thought
federalism out as the fitting structure for organizing the country into a
viable state, it was because they took cognizance of the abiding fact
that the country was torn across religious, cultural and ethnic fault
        lines…
Only the dishonest or ignorant or intellectual scoundrels
like you would wish away or deny this brutal fact of Nigeria’s nation
        being…
But alas! these centrifugal forces can never be wished away or denied..
        And
it is indeed these forces that explain and harbingered the Civil War,
and why the likes of BUHARI, IBB, ABDULSALLAM, etc foisted a subterfuge
in the military-like 1999 Constitution that happens to have destroyed
every hope of true federalism returning to the country, only because it
serves the interest of the north at SS’ expense…
        It is these
primordial leanings that explain why the north hijacked the levers of
power in 1960 and levied a war to retain it following the 1966 Nzeogwu
coup, and serially remained in power for 27 years, and annulled the June
12 election, and chose to impose their own candidate Gen. Obasanjo on
the country in 1999 at the inauguration of the 4th republic, etc…
        I
dare say that it is these primordial leanings that is at the root of
the current security crisis in the country as it reads to the discerning
that if not for Jonathan’s handle on the situation, it would have been
        far worse…
The goal of the north was to use unconventional means to
stage a revolution against the Jonathan government like they did
against Gen. Ajuiyi Ironsi in 1966 and forcefully returned themselves to
        the saddle upon assassinating him…
        But never again…
Many of you idiots do not understand the nature of the Nigerian state and the forces governing its evolution…
        I
dare say that it is the same primordial leaning that explains why the
Yoruba seem to ineluctably support opposition parties of their own
        devise, of course…
Or do you think it is just natural with them to
play only opposition politics, from AG to UPN, to AD to AC to ACN to
        APC, etc….
        No…it is ethnic, primordial leanings!!!!
So spare me the political correctness…
        Like
I have earlier noted, the problem that has hitherto bedeviled the
Jonathan presidency is traceable to these redoubtable primordial
        leanings….
Since he is not from the north, or a Yoruba, then we
must either denounce the Jonathan presidency with sheer propaganda; give
it a bad name in order to hang it; or make the country ungovernable for
him so that power could be snatched back….
Both subtle and overt actions by traducers betray this fact..
Thus with the APC, I see the Hausa and Yoruba gloating over the fact that Aso Rock is once again close to reach….
        We
learned that Bola Tinubu pushed ad nuseum for the APC VP seat to go to
Yoruba, but I am thrashed for lashing out on Amaechi for failing to
support the presidency of his kinsman; for unabashedly (not even subtly)
        staging himself against his kinsman…
I read that for you Amaechi is right only because his action is helpful to the APC agenda, and nothing more…
        The
morality of his action is nothing to your depravity even when the Bible
declares that “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for
adversity,” and the Igbo primes “Nwannekanma…”
To the extent that SS people read treachery in Amaechi’s posturing and execrable flirtations, we are “fish brained”…
I, we, may be fish brained, but you have no brain at all…
        F*ck off, nitwit!!!!!!!

What an embarrassment! From Vice Presidential candidate to ordinary Campaign Director. Okay, I got it. Amaechi is only good to dole out Money, make noise, attack people whether right or wrong, whether with facts or without facts. Governor Chibuike Amaechi is only good to cook for others, prepare the table, dish the meals and invite others to come and eat. So, sad these people have reduced Governor Chibuike Amaechi, the acclaimed Governors forum election winner, the APC election war Commander to ordinary cook! “With the 2011 elections, heavy financial prices were paid to Lagos and Ondo State opposition political leaders
to secure the vote for the President (Jonathan) against the interest of PDP at the state level. The situation where
the president (Jonathan) surreptitiously invited Bola Tinubu, lifting him at night by presidential aircraft from Lagos
to Abuja to hatch a plan for Bola to support one PDP presidential candidate at the expense of all other PDP
candidates for any office in Lagos, can only be described as obscene, unethical, corruption-ridden and a show
of bad leadership. Whatever amount of money was given to Bola Tinubu to procure votes for the 2011 presidential
election in Lagos was, to say the least, unnecessary. What made this phenomenon particularly bad was that
government had raised the money from government transactions which fuel corruption”.

    How Islamism Destroyed APC……

Islamism destroyed APC. That is the simple truth. Action Congress (ACN) was purely an Islamic party.
When ACN merged with both ANPP and CPC, it was impossible for ACN to tranform into secular party.
What happened in Abuja during the APC presidential running mate selection was the effect of Islamism.
Future generations of Nigerians will learn from Bola Tinubu’s bad example and never again try Islamism.

THE GREAT IRONY ……… BUHARI AND DERIVATION FORMULA

It is indeed a great irony that Judas of Port Harcourt will accept to be Director General of Buhari’s doomed Presidential Campaign.

Recall that by the time Buhari became Head of State in 1983 …… Alhaji Shehu Shagari’s administration had raised the derivation content of the National Revenue Allocation formular to 5% ……. it was 3.5% by the time Shagari came in as President ……. it was Obasanjo’s administration that had raised it to 3.5% from 1.5%

But what did Buhari do ?

Buhari insisted that the derivation content of the Revenue Allocation formula must be abolished …………. it took the vigourous intervention of well meaning Nigerians before Buhari rescinded his decision to abolish derivation ……… not done …. Buhari still went ahead and unilaterally reduced derivation from 5% to 1.5% ……… observe that Buhari did not even reduce it to 3.5% …….. he reduced it to 1.5%

It is a great irony that it is that derivation fund that Governor Rotimi Amaechi is using to lavishly to fund Buhari’s campaign at the expense of the people of Rivers State

The other irony is that Buhari is simply reaping where he did not sow !!!

Pray that the Judas Iscariot of Port Harcourt will end like the Judas Iscariot of the Christian Bible.

Please, have it, sir.” Internal Colonial Master, “Sorry again, no VP for you but Ministerial or Ambassadorial position if you can foot the campaign proper.” “First, have the consolation prize of ‘Presidential Campaign Director’ ”

There are many Pdp erats all over the web, strage handles one hasn’t seen here before, all of them falling over themselves to spew venomous nonsense in favor of their venomous paymasters in the Poverty Development Party who are in panic mode. All you fat erats should be here on the 15th of Feb 2015 to tell us how you feel. That day Jonothing will be sent packing. Another wise choice by Apc. Congratulation to Amaechi.

    • emmanuel

A wise choice indeed! A man from a zone that is not fit to produce a President and VP (jonathan did seat in Aso Villa for upto two months before the Yoruba and Fulanis pounced on him, because his zone has nothing to offer to Nigeria, so it has been frustration all the way)

The best is a campaign manager, so he can charter plane to carry everybody across Nigeria for campaign at the expense of Rivers people.

This is the best time to determine if the SS or SE can produce a Nigerian President, now that the Crude Oil price is down.

Hear this from the SS, take the Presidency and stop earning one Kobo from Crude beginning from after February 2015.

Check what less than 500,000 barrel a day at less than $60.00 PB after JV partners are paid will give Nigeria. It is better imagined!

Let the Yorubas and Fulanis plot their coup, we shall meet at the battle field.
