Kwankwaso endorses deputy, Ganduje, to succeed him in 2015

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso

Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano has endorsed his current deputy, Abdullahi Ganduje, to succeed him in 2015.

The decision was taken early Friday at the Africa House of the Government House after a lengthy meeting involving senior members of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

The members agreed that Mr. Ganduje will succeed his boss as governor, while Kabiru Gaya, contesting for the same seat, will contest for the senate again.

The decision led to jubilation in the camp of Mr. Ganduje.

Similarly, a former deputy governor of the state, Abdullahi Gwarzo, was given the go-ahead to contest the South Senatorial district seat.

Also, an aspirant at the 2007 gubernatorial election was endorsed for House of Representatives.

Jafaru Isa, a loyalist of former head of state, and APC presidential aspirant Muhammadu Buhari, was cleared to contest the Kano Central Senatorial District, while Abdurrahman Sumaila, a governorship aspirant, was not cleared for either his gubernatorial or the House of Representative ambition.

    1. Governor Rotimi Amaechi single-handedly decides and picks Dakuku Peterside as the APC Governorship Candidate for Rivers State ……… Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso single-handedly decides and picks an old rusty Abdullahi Ganduje as the APC Governorship Candidate for Kano State ………. where is democracy in all this …… where is the mass participation of the people …… why no elections …….. Recall, that these two Governors where among the 5Tourist Governors that left PDP citing lack of internal democracy as their reason for leaving PDP …… But see what they are doing to democracy now …. something PDP cannot even contemplate ……..WHAT A SHAME.

    2. A Budget of N1.2Billion for the second term inauguration ceremony of Governor Rauf Aregbesola in a State where workers have not been paid salary for the past three months.

    3. Buhari bribes Imo State APC delegates with N1million to get their support at the APC Party Primary

    4. Atiku Abubakar woos Sokoto delegates with N8.5million to be shared as follows N5 million was given to the party to facilitate its activities; N1million for the party’s elders while N2.5 million was for the 50 delegates from the state.

    5. A duubious Ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives (A-minus Tambuwaal) who crookedly waited until a motion
for adjournment had been moved before he announced his defection to APC. There is no parliament in the world where a new matter is introduced after a motion for adjournment has been moved ….. no place whatsoever !!!

Matter or announcement? Yes,a matter can not be introduced after the motion for adjournment has been moved but an announcement can be made after. What Tamubawal did was to announce his defection because it wasn’t a matter for don hear?

Is it any different from what PDP did?Remember the imposition of the presidential candidate of PDP?Did our president not accuse Kwakwaso of chopping ‘bribe’ money that he gave for Kano PDP delegates in 2011 primaries? At least Kwankwaso had the decency of endorsing his deputy. How many PDP Governors did that?Do you know the difference between an announcement on the floor of the house and an introduction of a matter for debate?By the way, where is the missing $20 Billion?Presumably stashed somewhere to ‘bribe’ people and buy votes?

This is how it should be. A governor should endorse his deputy as successor. Which is more that can be said with other governors! Their action is quite appalling. They throw away their deputies as if the latter were just dirty rags!

Hahaha…democracy in action!!! Anybody who still doesn’t know that an APC govt will do worse than what we currently accuse the PDP of is a learner. Where are those people criticising PDP govs for only supporting a candidate…not even forcing them down people’s throats like Amaechi and Kwankwaso have done?
