The Senate on Monday rescheduled its resumption of plenary from Tuesday to Wednesday.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Clerk to the Senate, Benedict Efeturi, in Abuja.
The clerk requested senators to resume sitting in plenary on Wednesday by 10 a.m.
No reason was given for the postponement, but the Senate adjourned abruptly on November 4 and 5 and subsequently adjourned sitting till Tuesday, November 11 after a tense sitting which saw the scant discussion of the removal of the security details of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, on presidential directives.
Mr. Mark on November 5, promised to uphold the sovereignty of the National Assembly.
