The boy’s family suspects murder.
A nine-year-old boy, Henry Goodness, was on Tuesday afternoon found hung to death on a tree along Tudun Wada area of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The mother of the victim, while weeping, said her son was not known for violent acts and cannot commit such a dastardly act on himself.
A family member also said they suspect murder.
Until his death, Henry was a Class One pupil of Messiah Foundation Primary School.
Some residents of the area said Henry had not been very happy since his father died; which led to him living with his mum and other relations.
The family hails from Adamawa State but reside in Plateau.
