Soldiers brutalise man, strip him naked

Two soldiers have been caught on camera beating a man after stripping him naked.

The incident happened in Ajah market, Lagos, on Tuesday.

The soldiers also threatened to cut off the man’s penis while beating him in the presence of onlookers.

Traders at the market declined comment on the cause of the violence for fear of attack by the soldiers.

But a raw rice seller, who sought anonymity, said the man was a tricycle rider and hit the one of the soldiers with his tricycle.

Is anyone surprised? The Nigerian army is the most uncultured organization in the world. A bunch of riffraffs in uniform, cowardly, unfit and disserving. They are only strong and tough when beating up innocent civilians but they cannot face rag tag boko haram. Is it surprising that the boko haram scourge still bedevils this nation? We have these cowards to blame. Shame!

We need to start getting names of these bullies so that we can shame them on social media and hopefully their boss will do something.

I agree but, their boss should be doing something without waiting for us to do anything. The’ve been doing this forever..I saw plenty especially during the military rule. It’s barbaric, you shouldn’t even treat animals like that.

The Soldiers are trying but i’m just saddened by these inhumane acts that surface on the internet. Very unfortunate

It is known fact that the entity called Nigeria does not have an Armed forces/Army, at least not one that is sworn to protect the territorial integrity & or the citizens. What passes as the Armed Forces should really be known as the Ruling Elites Army(those are the only people they do not brutalize, oh i forgot, also they do not brutalize any WELL ORGANIZED armed militia), but if you are an unarmed civilian, their “bravery” is legendary.

Until Buhari is eliminated from office, the tyranny continues.

In a country where soldiers see themselves as superior to the police, the abuse will continue. Ordinarily the police cannot arrest a soldier until they have gotten the permission of the generals. Nigeria is a breeding ground for chaos and I will not be surprised if the US is not eyeing Nigeria as their next potential Syria or Iraq. The economy of America depends on causing wars in other countries. It is time we have a leader not a egocentric who wants power for the sake of having power. Military is a profession just like policing is a profession and each have their work cut out for them. This is not to say that the police too are any better with their abysmal human right record and uncivil relationship with the populace. All is based on the rule of law. a nation that has no respect for the rule of law is a catastrophe waiting to happen.

The Police started by blowing up genitals of suspect kidnappers in Abia state. Soldiers have found that as a trend, imagine threatening to cut off the man’s genitals. Human right abuse is associated wit Buharis leadership.
    Nigeria is in anarchy already.
When violence from security operatives become unchecked, the people may make them target of violence sometime too.

Am always surprised and shocked when I see these acts and you see fellow citizens and indigenes looking like donkeys, there’s power in unity and the soldiers know they cannot fight/ overpower more than 20 civilians with one voice right there on the street. Civilians can arrest those soldiers and take them to the nearest police station; an example was in Turkey, but I guess even the “my brother my brother” are not United from the heart.

Nigerian army is the WORST army in the world, very unprofessional and PRIMITIVE. It is not a modern army at all. SHAMELESS LOT.
