The All Progressives Congress, APC, has lauded the federal government for the nation’s recent exit from economic recession as announced by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS.

The party expressed this in a press statement on Wednesday signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.

“APC also commends the National Assembly as it continues to work with the Executive on improving the economy and other areas of national life,” Mr. Abdullahi said.

“We commend the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari on the economic recovery efforts which have evidently started to yield fruits.

“Commendably, the country’s exit from recession was in tandem with the current administration’s forecast that the country will experience economic growth in 2017. This is another demonstration that the President Buhari APC-led administration is one that keeps its promises,” the party said.

It, however, said the government will not rest on its oars.

“APC thanks Nigerians for their patience, understanding and support for the President Buhari administration while the economy was in recession. Although there remains much more work to be done, we assure Nigerians that the administration remains focused on its effort to sustain the economy on the path of growth.

“As the President Buhari administration works assiduously to build a new solid foundation, credible image and pull the country out of the present hardships, we appeal for continued patience and the cooperation from Nigerians.”

The party said Mr. Buhari during the 2015 elections, promised to curb corruption, restore the economy and ensure the security of the nation; adding that he had kept his promise.

Overall, in terms of output from 2015 to now, the economy is roughly the same. The 2% decline from 15-16 has been negated by a roughly 1.7 to 2 % growth in the 16-17 period. Thank you PMB! Sai Babababa !! hahah these guys must really see us as fodder. Cattle fodder to be precise.

Buhari led APC Government had plummeted the Nigeria economy into recession and depression over two years now. Thanks to Osinbajo who in the absent of Buhari tried to bring the nation back from where they took over from, but not fully as Nigerians are still suffering in the nation’s depress economy woes by Buhari governance frameworks, no proper feeding as before, higher cost of living the country as Buhari was in the UK lavishing the country’s money in the UK hospital and in the London house. But for patriotic good Nigerians in the UK who went on a night wake keeping prayers to force him back to Nigeria to come and fight innocent IPOB people seeking for freedom from oppression and suppression by the Fulani herdsmen.
What is the celebration of coming out of recession about for trying to come back to where the APC led government took governance from without any word like recession and depression in 2014 to 2015
Buhari Osinbajo APC led government has not fulfilled any campaign promise because they have NOT removed any corruption, SFG, DG -NIA, and Buhari spending in the UK. Buahri Osinbajo plunge Nigeria into economy recession depression, which has not recovered at all even till now, just flying news this week.
Buhari Osinbajo led APC government has NOT put any security measures in place in Nigeria for ordinary Nigerians , see BOKO HARAM news of this week as announced by BH Kings-man, see Fulani herdsmen wahala on rampage ongoing everywhere in the country and see Militant threats every where to blow-up main export pipelines, see Oduduwa Republic announcement to use chemical weapon of mass destruction on the Northern states Fulani Jihaddists, Niger Delta united frontier forces announcement and finally see Almighty IPOB BIAFRA secessionist NNAMDI KANU, etc.
Where is the security controls that the APC Led government is talking about by National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi?
