PHOTO SPEAKS: EFCC recovers 17 vehicles from former Nigeria Customs boss Dikko

One of the cars: Some of the cars recovered by the EFCC warehoused by the ex-Customs Boss

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has recovered 17 “exotic vehicles’’ in a warehouse belonging to a former Comptroller-General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde.

Wilson Uwujaren, Head, Media and Publicity of the commission, said on Wednesday in Abuja that the vehicles were recovered from Mr. Inde’s residence located at Nnamdi Azikwe Street, Kaduna.

The recovery was sequel to an intelligence report the commission received that stolen money and properties suspected to be proceeds of crime were being warehoused at the former customs boss’ premises, he said.

He said upon receipt of the intelligence, a team of operatives from the Kano Zonal Office of EFCC were deployed to carry out investigation on the matter.

“On arrival at the location, two individuals who were identified to be the custodians of the property – Dantala Mohammed and Ahmed Balarabe, were presented with a search warrant.

“In the course of the search, a total of 17 vehicles among which are brand new cars, shuttle busses and SUVs were found in the premises,” he said.

Kudos, EFCC. Keep up the good job. May the looters of our treasury and resources never know sleep.

  • aboki

Wailing wailers what is your contributions in this breakthrough?

    • Kallah Bature

Now that this man is a Northerner from the same state with PMB the wailers who claim witch hunt must look for another lie to tell.

  • God Dey

This trend is just too much in Nigeria. Amassing wealth they don’t really need at the detriment of the citizenry!

  • LionHeart

The only policy I support in Buhari’s administration is the fight against corruption and looting. Thanks to EFCC as long they fight fairly.

  • OJERINDE, Olatunde A.

But what on earth was this man’s intention? These cars are not even in use…. And he attends mosque probably five times a day, standing foot to foot to people who do not have food to eat, greeting and smiling with them and they all are asking God for mercy and seeking blessing. What a world, what a fiend these lots are!

  • Rommel

It is obvious that the average Nigerian public official is a common thief, the earlier we realize this and begin to treat them as such, the better it will be for Nigeria

  • Impulse400

What do these EFCC people take us for…? 17vehicles are just a small number. Have they been to IBB’s houses or Abdul Salam’s or Mohammed Gusau’s…?

Well, we are Nigerians. Maybe EFCC takes us for foools.

    • jon

Please provide evidence of cars you saw at ibb garage

      • Impulse400

You must be a worshipper of curruption for you to expect a little me to enter hilltop, Minna to look for evidence of 8 years of stealing for you.

Sorry, I do not have evidence. But it does not mean that the absense of my evidence is an evidence of absense of IBB’s guilt.

You are just speaking grammar. EFCC is doing greatly, and we support the,. or are you and ex-custom officer? Why are you scared?

          • Impulse400

That which you hold most sacred, which you worship… I am not allowed to criticize. But I say unto you Test Every Spirit! including the spirit of EFCC. Which is what I am doing… Why are you scared?

You see that I have not implied further. You know who you are.

If you don’t have evidence or proof don’t destroy your nation with your mouth be informed be educated not PHD

          • Impulse400

            “Destroy my nation…?”

            Who are you, pls?

          • jon

To swim you have to swallow name is irrelevant but the message is paramount spread good news be patriotic if you dont have proof of news dont say it hear say and rumors is killing Nigeria for years now because of hear say many poor religious bigotry start killing each other. look out for professor john bull on you tube thanks

          • Impulse400

You are not smart. I understand your threat very clearly. But IBB and Abdulsalam are not my country. I understand your kind; spill over of the old guard. “Be Patriotic” meaning worship the Lords of the whole chaos, the Emperors of the looting, the kingmakers of the kingdom of corruption. It is they whom you refer to as Nigeria, these “untouchables”. But I don’t see how all the rumors about them is killing them. I don’t see how the rumors of the death of Dele Giwa is killing IBB. Abdulsalam has never been a victim of religious bigotry in this country. In fact, he has benefited from religious crises indirectly, by appointments as head of one committee or another to resolve such religious chaos. He gets paid for such functions, doesn’t he…? His clique of friends, or his cabal seem to be the only ones that know the solutions to Nigeria’s problems, and no matter how many opportunities they are given to impart their so called influence or experience or expertise, nothing positive or lasting ever comes out of their involvement. (I stopped wondering why a long time ago).

Bottom line is; your subliminal threats are pointless. Until EFCC begins to investigate IBB and his 8 years as Head of State, his activities afterwards and even his coup plot that brought him to power, they have not started fighting corruption. They are just advertising their uselessness.

    • Terence

You Sef na wah! So bcoz other looters have not been caught these ones should be allowed to go abi? What happens to the saying that a bird at hand is worth more than many in the bush? Give kudos to EFCC jare and stop being an oldschool Nigerian. We’ve gone past this ur thinking, now is the time for all looters to return our collective wealth. Shikena!!!!

      • Impulse400

Is it this little rat of an ex-custom boss that you are calling a bird in the hand…?

Tufia…! Wake up. EFCC is yet to catch a flying creature with feathers. They are busy picking earth worms to deceive you.

        • Truth Konveyor

Yes! We support them in picking the earth worms. What is your problem with us been deceived?

          • Impulse400

Your gullibility will hunt me in future… a time will come when it will be too late to complain.
