Oyegun hails quality of Buhari’s cabinet members

John Odigie Oyegun, APC National Chairman

President Muhammadu Buhari has been commended for the quality of cabinet members he has appointed to drive the change agenda of the Federal Government.

John Odigie-Oyegun, the National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), gave the commendation on Wednesday in Abuja when he received the FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello, who paid him a courtesy visit.

He said that the calibre of appointees like the FCT Minister would move the Federal Capital Territory to enviable heights considering his pedigree.

“The economy of the country was plunged into a sorry state by the previous governments.

“This is in addition to the down turn of oil price, which has remained the nation’s major source of revenue thereby making things very difficult,’’ he said.

Mr. Oyegun said that if previous governments had diversified the country’s economy all these years, the situation would have been better today.

He commended the FCT Minister for the visit, and assured that the APC would work closely with the FCT Minister and the FCT administration to take Abuja to the next level.

On the forthcoming FCT Area Councils’ election, the National Chairman promised to support the FCT Chapter of the APC to deliver the Councils to the party.

He stressed the need for teamwork among party faithful to ensure that the APC emerge victorious in the elections.

Speaking earlier, the FCT Minister promised to work closely with the party in his efforts to deliver the desired change agenda of the Federal Government.

While reminding the chairman of the Area Councils’ elections slated for March 19, Mr. Bello solicited the support of the party’s headquarters to enable the FCT chapter win the polls.

“We are here to pay homage as loyal party men and to tap from the wisdom of its leadership which transcend several decades,” he said.

Alhaji Junaid Oyegun, are you still alive talking rubbish? Quality cabinet members like: Liar Mohamed, Rotimi Oyenusi, Thief Fashola, Mohamed Buhari Petroleum Minister, and that ugly yeye Finance Minister. Bullshit.

Baba Oyegun, truth be told, Mr. Bello does not inspire much confidence and we are yet to sense his direction nor feel his impact.

Mr. Dambazau has made more headlines with his shoes than with his performances and Mr. Fayemi has not lived up to expectations in Solid Mineral either. Mr. Ogbonaya as the Minister in the field of Technology doesn’t even have a Twitter handle. The Agric Minister, though earnest and apparently well meaning, does not have the same mettle as Mr. Adeshina, who left the seat for him.

Presently, only Mr. Fashola, Mr. Amaechi, Mrs. Adeosun and Mr. What’s His Name at NNPC appear to be giving us some form of comfort.

The current set of Ministers need to be changed or reshuffled since they have neither impacted nor even shared a sense of urgency or roadmap to buy into.

Take it from an APC stalwart. We don’t have the time or the luxury of procrastination.

If Nigerians don’t see things happening in a year and half at most, we can start to kiss re-election good bye.

Kay I fully agree with you but the Party appears to be in a rot. Its struggling to find momentum. Looking back turns into a pillar of salt when the promise land is ahead of you. You end up going nowhere in a hurry. I am sincerely struggling to find where the impetus will come from, they need clear thinking and a miracle fast. It appears they used up all their luck in Jan 2015 when PDP pulled the self destruc button by allowing GEJ to run.

      ShaaRAP there! Impostor!
      You wailer!
Kay soyemi, the self confessed ‘okrika/gwanjo’ merchant will never wail OPENLY! We have been told he and the likes of wahala have been silently gnashing their teeth in shame.
We also heard the real kay soyemi praising the noisemakers as round pegs in round holes when his lord buhari appointed them.
