Despite Buhari ‘s Government, PDP is stronger – National Secretary

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says not even the heinous and draconian agenda of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC government to decimate the PDP will succeed as the party is coming up stronger because Nigerians now know better.

The party said that APC having realized that it lacked what it takes to deliver its numerous bogus campaign promises to Nigerians has ignobly resorted to intimidation and harassment of the opposition through its set-out witch-hunt policy.

The National Secretary of PDP, Adewale Oladipo, said in a statement on Sunday that in a desperate mood to cover up its obvious lapses and the clear lack of governance direction in the last eight months, the APC administration has plunged all its energy seeking imaginary PDP faults.

“In all democracies, viable opposition is recommended for stability and growth of society, but the APC in is seeking to decimate opposition so foist its dictatorial agenda of installing one party state without economic direction and where the rights of the citizens are trampled under-foot.

“Nigerians have seen through the campaign deceptions and the now unfolding agenda of the APC and are now apprehensive about the health of the country as the reality of the type of party and leaders they voted into power gradually dawns on them.

“They have watched carefully as all essential values of a viable democracy are being destroyed; the other arms of government, the judiciary and legislature have been caged under with each now struggling to survive.

“We are all witnesses of the brazen abuse of human rights of citizens, arrest and detention without trial, disregard for court orders and the impunity being displayed by various security agencies in the last eight months.

“Also obvious to Nigerians now is the use of the fight against corruption as means of settling scores with perceived enemies as is the case with key PDP leaders including its spokesman, an action that is ostensibly aimed at silencing the opposition from looking in and exposing the incompetence, and the double standard of the administration.

“We invite Nigerians and the international community to continue to note that while the government continues to harass PDP leaders and abuse their rights, very obvious corrupt cases involving notable APC leaders have been brushed aside.”

“The PDP however reiterates its support for the fight against corruption but insists that its conduct must have integrity, must be fair, credible, just and must follow due process and rule of law.

“Finally, the PDP assures its numerous supporters across the country of the dividends of the on-going rebuilding and re-engineering process in the party to re-position the party for the electoral challenges ahead especially as it has become clear that APC lacks the capacity to handle governance and provide economic direction for the country, but has only succeeded in injecting bad blood and division among Nigerians resulting in the current threats to national cohesion and stability.

…..this bros must be confused! a better clime, your party would have gone to oblivion.

Buhari and APC incompetence has finally vindicated PDP.
Buhari needs to be shown the back door.

Members of APC have no shame nor conscience

  • Akinwande Kolawole

Power to the people! The APC led government under Pa Buhari.has no doubts proven that it lacks the vision and political will needed to drive the 21st century economy, in a developed democracy, the government of the day needs no reminder to know that it has failed in leaving up to the expectations of majority of Nigerians who bought into her dubious & vicious change mantra, hence the need to honorably resign & apologize to the nation for plunging our economy to the worst of its kind!

  • Gbenga Adebola

The daura dulllard is world’s most despicable daft still alive… Was he thinking his Hitlan style of rulership in 1984 is the same as in a democracy? Little wonder he kidnapped the budget through his party criminals the same way he kidnapped umaru dikko.

If the president is responsible enough he wudn’t had taken Nigerians for granted let alone resorting to a commando’s style of budget withdrawal that has brought the nation huge shame, embarrassment of the highest order, and presidential incompetence of the lowest standard.

The military style of action is back. courtesy of the septuagenarian dulllard @ the helms

  • Preye Aganaba

The rubbish perpetrated by Muhammadu Buhari by wasting the nation’s precious time for six months before appointing ministers to his cabinet could only have happened in a jungle or a pre-modern empire. Try that in the United States or in the UK, the president will be impeached: he will become a past president in six months. Period.

It’s annoying that everything Buhari has tried to achieve in six-to-nine months is all bullshit and a bundle of stench. Even the budget could not be put together without withdrawal and errors of gigantic numbers. I just learnt it is pregnant with 209 errors. It’s a shame that we warned Nigerians, literate and illiterate, yet they brought this bunkum upon themselves.

Buhari does not have the answer to Nigeria’s issues and problems. Yes, he’d cry wolf over corruption. Then, what next? It is what a man can do next that matters, not what he can do first.

  • Pam Daylop

The wailing wailers is APC’s worst nightmare. It was due to the fear of the wailing wailers that APC wanted to modify the so called “BUDGET OF CHANGE” in the thick of the night.

They didn’t want to vindicate the Wailers who criticised the Budget right from the start so they tried modifying the Budget in hiding. But it backfired.

General Buhari need to be tried for high level corruption through the national budget.

#EFCC should investigate this high level corruption.

Corruption is not only about money, there is also moral corruption.

Anyway No matter how APC try to stifle the Wailing Wailers, they’ll only end up making them stronger.

    • Babso

If the president wants to amend anything in the budget, all he need to do is to withdraw it or ask his party members to do same while debating the budget. However, Saraki is up to something sinister by claiming that the budget submitted was different from the one presented by the president. It is good to hear HOR claiming otherwise.

  • Timothy Aseer

The herdsman should be sent back to Daura. He has no business whatsoever leading 21st century Nigeria for the job is way too much above him

  • Reymeline

The National Secretary of PDP, Adewale Oladipo, Timothy Aseer, Pam Daylop, Preye Aganaba, Preye Aganaba , Gbenga Adebola, Akinwande Kolawole, Ademola Arowosaye, all mentioned above are economical with truth, GEJ ploug our economy into coma by spending hard currency on election and nearly destroy our economy and all stollen fund being retrieved, you are still suporting this Oladipo that PDP is stronger. All of you should gather yourself and go to market and say PDP is the good party, i guess, you will be stoned. If pple for for PDP, not the party they vote for its individual as they have trust in him/her.

  • tundemash

Adewale Oladipo and PDPigs leadership suffer from Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder in which a person is excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity, mentally unable to see the destructive damage they are causing to themselves and others.

  • timbee

The APC led administration must not gun for a one party system as this will only make them relax on their oars. Healthy opposition is good for our democracy which exactly what the APC is doing. I feel we should all be allowed to air our views even if its against the government which makes it even better.

  • Maitama Tambari

Oladepo is dreaming with his eyes wide open in the day light. Dreamer is not always a person to rely upon because dreams are not facts but mirage. You should remove the PDP dead body from mortuary for burial before the stolen public funds with the Undertaker is discovered by the EFCC.

  • Shugaba Nkasa

PDP is Stronger than what? It is you peoples fault for allowing witches in your party.
If you are hunting witches, you go where the witches are.
