Tinubu is “corruption-personified”– Nigerian Minister

The Minister of State for Works, Dayo Adeyeye, has described as shameful, the one-million-man march held in Lagos today, by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said the march was in support of corruption and the massive looting of Lagos State by the APC leader, Senator Bola Tinubu, adding that; “what the APC demonstrated was that they don’t care about the feelings of the people”.

The minister said in a statement on Saturday that the APC should defend the allegations of converting almost all the landed properties in Lagos to Mr. Tinubu’s personal use and monumental looting of the state by the former governor, rather than embarking on a show of support for corruption in the name of one-million-man march.

He said; “the APC and its leaders need to seek forgiveness from God for stealing Lagos State blind, instead of marching on the heads of the same Lagosians that they shortchanged for 16 years.”

Mr. Adeyeye, who noted that Mr. Tinubu became stupendously rich at the expense of Lagos State tax payers, added that it was an insult for anyone to be matching in support of a corruption personified individual like Mr.Tinubu.

“One is not surprised that they took to the streets in Lagos to show solidarity to Tinubu, who is being accused of massive looting of Lagos State.

“Afterall, the APC said officially that ‘even if Tinubu and the party presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari are shown in a video robbing Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerians must vote for the party.’

“In other words, they are saying that even if Tinubu acquires the Alausa Secretariat the way he acquired the secretariat of Eti-Osa Local Government and several other properties belonging to the people of Lagos State, Lagosians can go to hell!

“This is shameful and Nigerians should note that handing over the country to Tinubu and his cabal will be tantamount to auctioning the country at the World Trade Centre,” the minister said.

The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of those that seek death.

There are thorns and snares on the path of the crooked. Anyone who guards himself prudently

NEXT AGENDA FOR LAGOS: Jimi Agbaje

To avoid imminent armed struggle in Lagos State the following steps must start,
to recover all the stolen loot in Lagos state and punish Lagos’ official thieves; viz:

      • A PDP Research Team must be set up today to list the names of ALL persons
appointed into public office by Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu beginning May 29, 1999.

      • The PDP Research Team must list the names of ALL persons appointed into public office
by Alhaji Raji Babatunde Fashola beginning May 29, 2007.

      • The comprehensive names so listed must be ready before May 29, 2015, and copied
in advance to the ICPC, the Police, and, the EFCC.

      • Upon swearing in of your new government on May 29, 2015, all persons so listed
shall be deemed prima facie as criminal collaborators on the largely missing $40 billion
of revenues that Lagos state government earned from 1999 till date.

…….(2) NEXT AGENDA FOR LAGOS: Jimi Agbaje

        • All business Contractors, and all persons who held the positions of Director or Permanent Secretary
in Lagos state; either in the public service or the civil service, must be listed alongside for arrest
        and criminal investigation.

        • All Judges nominated and appointed by both Bola Tinubu and Raji Fashola shall be listed as
potential accomplices in extent that their judicial appointments could provably be criminal masks
for judicial imprimatur they wore to rubber-stamp the theft of Lagos state treasury under Bola Tinubu
        and Raji Fashola.

        • All persons appointed to head Lagos state corporations and the Directors of the boards
of those agencies; whether styled as corporation, trust or parastatal, must be listed and
deemed as criminal accomplices for financial crimes investigation.

        • All persons appointed into the public service or civil service of Lagos state, including all those
employed in the 57 local governments by Bola Tinubu and Raji Fashola must be listed alongside,
as partakers or and part-beneficiaries of the financial crimes in Lagos state in extent of their
non-qualification for the job or and in extent they were hand-picked for civil service jobs
in violation of legally-prescribed competitive examination.

        • All persons who sat in the Lagos State House of Assembly as Legislators from 1999
are to be included and deemed as criminal collaborators for financial crimes investigation.

One question that continues to bug my mind is why EFCC and/or ICPC have not deemed it necessary to invite Bola Tinubu for questioning. Has he (Bola Tinubu) compromised the anti-graft agencies? Is GEJ afraid of him or what? Why is he being allowed to bestride Nigeria like a colossus, when in actual fact, Bola Tinubu is a certificate forger, perjurer, drug addict/retired drug pusher and as the documentary being aired by AIT every night at 11pm since the 1st of March has shown, an egregious treasury looter who has abused, and continues to abuse , his former office? What rankles more, is the fact that he has the hardihood to accuse other people of corruption!!! Jonathan should order the immediate arrest and prosecution of hardened criminal Bola Tinubu.

The most greediest human being in Nigeria next to IBB is?..Answer: Bola Ahmed Tinubu!!!..Agbaje we trust..JK is OK!!

    • Wähala

“The most greediest”…olodo, go back to primary school. Didinrin!

      • Bambam

You are a dunce who do you think you replying too..some kind of nuisance like you?..when I used the words the most greediest..it was in an emphatic, colloquial way..trying to stress how greedy Tinubu is and using the words in a non formal or literary way..but used as in normal familiar conversations..in other word in layman’s words..I repeat Tinubu is the most greediest Nigerian next to IBB..if you have a problem with your level of education..go look for your type..nuisance!!

        • Wähala

Only a pfool continues doing the same expecting different result each time. Either you’re not editing before posting your gibberish, or you’re an outright half-illiterate trying to justify your stup*dity. Hear yourself, “who do you think you replying too…” Again, are you using this bad grammar in a non formal or literary way? Keep displaying amazing stup*dity, I’m here to keep robbing it into you that your education is contaminated in the riverine Amnesty Camp you drunks are re-indoctrinated in. Oponu!

          • Bambam

You just a nuisance seeking attention..I believe you sat wherever you are relishing all these nonsense you do online replying disrespectfully to people..it would do you more good making important contributions/comments..than displaying your immaturity..ain’t got time for your crap!!!

          • Wähala

“I believe you sat wherever you are relishing all these nonsense…” Why don’t you stop responding to my comments? Every response has come with a different grammatical error. Simply put, you are a poorly educated tout from the creeks, you just can’t get it right. ‘Nonsense’ has no plural and you are obviously confused about past/present tense usage. Next time, pick a fight in your weight division. Clown!

          • Bambam

Check the post where I corrected you..English teacher on Tinubu’s payroll..ARINDIN ODE!!

I congratulated you already for catching up… or, your handler may have handed it to you to post. Is Reno Omokri still dishing out comments to e-urchins like you? My regards… tell my ‘Thanks’ to him. Happy?

          • Bambam

To be honest you talk like a kid at times..once you post anything online and its anti-Tinubu or Lagos APC..then you must be working for Reno Omokri right?..Well FYI JonaTAN has changed his social media team..and appointed someone else to replace Reno..but I don’t give a damn its none of my business..JonaTAN is on his way out and he knows..but so is Tinubu..and they know that too..you the only one who doesn’t know the score yet..too bad!!

          • Wähala

But when you accuse me of working for Tinubu, you sound mature ba? I’ve told you, get some education! You’re just not smart enough to mouth-off at me. Is Tinubu a public servant, on which way out is he? Alhaji Tinubu is a chieftain of a political that will win the next general elections, so show your door to Dr. Dumbo and don’t worry about any other person. Maybe you should just stop thinking, you’re making a mess of it… you ought to be banned from thinking! Enough said, no more time for an ignorant clown like you with half-education. Good night!

          • Bambam

“Alhaji Tinubu is a chieftain of a political that will win the next general elections”…Chieftain of a political what??..You just too dumb or half-baked in your education to even complete your sentences..you need proper education young boy..I called you a paid Tinubu agent because all your replies and post has been justifying his corrupt nature..and you’ve insulted everyone you’ve replied too in trying to justify your paymaster..read through all your posts and tell me what deductions you get from them..honestly you so boring to discuss with..this forum isn’t meant for people like you..obviously your brain in its full capacity functions at half the strength of a normal human being…ARINDIN OMOKEKERE!!!

          • Dr. Kay

What in the word shut up don’t you understand ? You keep on harping over and over making countless grammatical errors ,yet you have the nerve correcting others mistakes, are you that daft? If I’m the one paying you I will ask for a refund because you making heavy weather of being even remotely close to convincing any one to your paymasters side. If I am you , I will take the little crumbs am given and go celebrate in a beer palour and pepper soup joint, oniranu oloshi!

          • Bambam

“If I’m the one paying you I will ask for a refund because you making heavy weather of being even remotely close to convincing any one to your paymasters side”…read this sentence of yours and spot the grammatical error..@ fake Dr. Kay..tundemash and Wahala..its one and the same person..you just keep changing the handles to make it look different..you are a real e-rat and should be banned from most internet sites..I must have bashed your self esteem using your @ Wahala handle..then you came on respectfully as tundemash and I replied you respectfully too but countered all the premises in your argument..now you’ve resurfaced as Dr. Kay..your game is up and I would keep exposing you henceforth for everyone to know you are a big scam..and a paid APC e-rat…your grammatical flow is absolutely torrid and no better than that of your paymasters Tinubu and Ambode..Animals..jobless graduate..ARINDIN OMOKEKERE!!!

          • Dr. Kay

Lol they must raised the going rate premium for e-rats to another level abi? You seem so self assured and full of confidence in you’re imbecilic postings that it occurred to me that the money must have been higher than what Reno used to pay , enjoy yourself , it ends in May , the source will soon run dry then back to area boy life for you oh.. Ha ha ha ha ha Sunganmun onirederede asiere eda !

          • Bambam

Look young man find something better to do with your life..surely you can’t stay online forever on behalf of an innately corrupt and greedy human being called Tinubu..his wife is a senator..in-laws in the House of Reps..one in-law just finished as state assembly member..two nephews contesting for house of assembly positions..brothers in charge of all his stolen and looted companies..Oando..Hi-Tech construction..ARM Investments etc…and you sit in front of a keyboard with different handles and monikers supporting such a nepotist..greedy and insatiable evil man..who throws out crumbs to the masses and looks like a good man..

Even the mafia godfather in Mario Puzo’s popular book the Godfather couldn’t have done any better..at least he gave to his local community..and to the church and the community members would be ones to fight the Polizia (Police) should they try to arrest him..go to Calabria, Italy the Ndrangetha Mafia empty bins for the community..build catholic churches..own the media..and are loved by their local communities..yet they made more money last year than Mcdonalds and Deutsche Bank..which are global legal organisations..and their monies came through local taxes and extortion..land permits..illegal acquisitions of farms for planting wine vineyards and olive oils..as well as drug smuggling and money laundering..Yet the people love them because the provide social services for them..sponsor the church..use the media for propaganda..bribe judges and law enforcement agents etc…and in some cases rule by instilling fear..so what Tinubu and his mafia enterprise is doing in Lagos state is no different from what the Italian mafia does..

Exactly why we must say NO to Tinubu..his godson Ambode and their criminal mafia enterprise..but I know you are a kid with little understanding..but I advise you to vote wisely..Buhari in March..and Agbaje in April..JK is OK!!

          • Wähala

Continue to display your inability to fill-in the gaps. I type 82wps with ten fingers and omissions are possible. A smart reader would’ve known that I meant “a political Party” albeit, the author could read it a million times and subconsciously add the missing words. Your diction, articulation, logic and so on, just proves you’re not educated enough to this type of dialogue. Go-Sitdon! DIDINRIN!!!

          • Bambam

You keep repeating yourself with no added effect..elementary English..diction..articulation etc..yet you can’t type party in your sentence..I would just leave you to keep repeating yourself..I guess you reckon by doing that repeatedly you would make it sound true..but off course other people who read this can judge better..as to whose language is elementary between the both of us..big dunce..it would take you and your paymaster forever to be able to speak and write as well as I do..OPONU OMOKEKERE!!!

The PDP government won`t stop exposing its ineptitude and obvious jittery. Most of the allegations leveled against Tinubu has been in the public domain for years.First by hearsay then in print before the recent upgrade to video version. For all of OBJ`s 8yrs in the Villa Tinubu was his adversary and OBJ was on record to have deploys EFFC to haunt corrupt political adversaries,he was unable to take on Tinubu.GEJ has been here for almost 6yrs,at a point Bode George alleged Tinubu was the architect of his imprisonment and Bode George is close to the Presidency. With all these array of corruption allegations against a political adversary and the obvious record of abuse of institutions by Nigerian Presidents, why not take on Tinubu if those allegations are valid and could be proven? Is it not shameful for a sitting Minister to allude to certain unproven allegations just to disparage an opposition rally while the ruling party was engage in similar rally at another venue?Jittery. It`s obvious that the PDP blackmail arsenal against Buhari has been depleted and now believe have a joker on Tinubu (who by the way,is not on any ticket) and therefore, can resuscitate some dead wood against Tinubu. It is an indictment on the government if its officers and agents continues to mouth corruption allegation against anyone under its jurisdiction and yet is not able to activate the appropriate agencies to investigate and indict the fellow before a law court.Very shameful indeed.

My dear Reminice6,Tinubu is a Master strategist and has finally fulfilled the prophecy of Awolowo.Recall,Awolowo was also a prophet & was absolutely correct on his predictions. He predicted that someday, the “Progressives”would come together.Tinubu fulfilled it.
The government knows that he is the link & game changer and have tried all means to ask for his support or to betray Buhari.Having refused, they turned the propaganda against him. This happened before deployment of soldiers to Bourdillon street & the hacking of their phones.
It appears there is a wind & I can’t describe it.What do you see?

    The oil theft contracts:
President Jonathan have personally supervised the grand theft, through two contracts financed with tax payers money, since January 2012 (possibly fall of 2011) of 400,000 barrels of oil per day by those he hand-picked to safeguard the supply lines against theft. According to Soludo: “First, you (Finance Minister, Okonjo-Iweala) admit that ‘oil theft’ has reduced oil output from the average 2.3 – 2.4 million barrels per day to 1.95 mpd (meaning that at least 350,000 to 450,000 barrels per day are being ‘stolen’). On the average of 400,000 per day and the oil prices over the past four years, it comes to about $60bn ‘stolen’ in just four years.

    – This is done through two 2 contracts that Jonathan signed to rebel leaders from his tribe.

These are the 2 contracts by the Jonathan administration that is a major feed to the monster bedevilling Nigeria and turning it into a failed state, and a personal estate of King Jonathan, it was fall 2011 & 2012 time frame – widely reported by Wall Street Journal and major newspapers in Nigeria – just google it – I like the composition in the piece titled, Help, This Nigerian State Is Failing By Ayobami Oyalowo:

”In August, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) broke some disturbing news about Nigeria. It was reported that some ex-militants in the Niger Delta had been paid about N6.32billion within the past one year by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Yes, for the ‘noble’ service of providing security against vandals for the Corporation’s oil pipeline network. Imagine! The breakdown, as outlined by WSJ, is this:

Chief Government Ekpumopolo (alias Tompolo), Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, ‘General’ Ebikabowei Victor Ben (Boyloaf) and ‘General’ Ateke Tom were respectively paid N5.1 billion, N1.44 billion, N608 million and N608 million yearly by the state-owned NNPC, as ‘protection money’ to guard the pipelines they once attacked.

As if that was not enough an insult on the collective intelligence of Nigerians, earlier in the year the Federal Government awarded a contract worth $103.4million (over N15billion) to the Global West Vessel Specialist Limited (GWVSL) – a firm widely believed to be owned by Tompolo to supply 20 vessels for the use of the nation’s military authorities to secure the waterways. Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Ziadeke Akpobolokemi, had last year sent a memo titled, “Award of Contract for the Strategic Concessioning Partnership with NIMASA to Provide Platforms for Tracking Ships and Cargoes, Enforce Regulatory Compliance and Surveillance Of The Entire Nigerian Maritime Domain,” to President Goodluck Jonathan.

In considering the memo, President Goodluck Jonathan and Akpobolokemi chose GWVSL as the preferred company for the 10-year concession agreement, renewable for two terms of five years each. Jonathan, in a memo dated 9th November, 2011, with reference number PRES/99/MT/61, approved Akpobolokemi’s memo, which the Federal Executive Council rubber-stamped on 5th January, 2012. According to Akpobolokemi, GWVSL “will provide platforms for effective policing of Nigeria’s maritime domain and ensure compliance with international maritime conventions on vessels and ships voyaging the country’s waters”. NIMASA maintains that the concessionaire would help the Federal Government to enforce the sabotage law and collect levies on its behalf. This, in a country that still maintains a statutory Naval force, and without a track record for GWVSL?

From the above, the current occupant of the presidential villa showed where his loyalty lies…rather than train the military, he equipped criminals and vandals who had taken up arms against the state. No wonder so much arms and ammunition have found their way into Nigeria and our country has now become one gigantic human abattoir where someone is killed on an average of an hour, daily. Between January to May 2014 it has been estimated that over 1,500 people have been mindlessly cut down by terrorists and blood thirsty killers.

  • Wähala

Mr. Adeyeye is truly a yeye clown. If Tinubu has converted all of Eko to his personal property and looted the State dry, why can’t the PDP-led Govt. bring him to law books? If 1million Lagosians could march in support of their oppressor, why can’t Dumbo organize one-million-man march to support him instead of the handful of old sporting heroes who marched with their eyes on his sokoto pockets? Dr. Dumbo is the only President in the history of mankind who went stealing with his mother in their land grab at our Aviation Village in Abuja, barely 6months on the job. Where did he & his wintchy mama get the N500bn the paid for the property? If anybody epitomizes Ali Baba in modern day Africa, it is Dr. Jona Dumbo and somebody please tell this Yeye man that he will be investigated once Dumbo is flushed down the toilet in 3weeks… Ade-Yeye indeed, Oponu!

    • Rotimi Lawanson

You must be a moron. What exactly are you saying? Have you looked at what Tinubu has done in Lagos? Should we condone such madness? A man has his wife as Senator, His Daughter as House of Reps Member and her husband as House of Reps Member, that is the person you are defending? If you project this madness, the whole of Nigeria will be converted into Tinubu’s personal estate. How can one man be allowed to run riot. Honestly, I blame President Jonathan for being too gentlemanly.

      • Wähala

Where did JoDumbo and his aged mother get the N500bn they paid for the land they stole in Abuja? That is my question. If Lagosians are not happy with their representatives, wait and watch to see if they will not vote for them. Again, who paid Dr. Dumbo N500bn he used as down-payment for the Abuja land grab? Ihm mama nko… where did she work to have saved the N1.5million she contributed to the illegal land deal? Only an Aborigine would take his mother to go stealing because like mother, like child… You are all Wetbacks!

No one is supporting JonaTAN here..your level of thinking and reasoning is obviously shallow..we talking about Tinubu and Lagos state here..one man’s inner demons should not determine they way our lives should be governed..Lagos needs to be set free from slavery..a criminal mafia enterprise..and their greed..Agbaje is the man we trust..JK is OK!!

          • Wähala

You’re a classical example of an imbecile. You have one vote, use it to set Lagos free. Others will also cast theirs and in the end, the majority will carry the vote. It’s only 3weeks to go and we shall know if Agbaje is the preferred candidate or not. The only criminal cabal that will be tossed from power is headed by the creek crook, understanding that is the beginning of your wisdom… DIDINRIN!

          • Bambam

No one cares if JonaTAN is kicked out of power..but your criminal paymaster who is being exposed serially on AIT must also get ready to have his fangs removed from Lagos state’s finances..which he has ruined anyway..the earlier you realise Agbaje is the next Governor of Lagos state..the better for you..bloody impostor like you..one minute you an Ibo..next minute you show Yoruba reflexes..then you are in Germany..next you are in Switzerland..you’ve worked with Nancy Pelosi in the US and all sorts of lies..you just a scam..and your paymaster is Tinubu..whom you work for as an e-rat..keep picking up your pay check..Animal!!

Fact is, your crumbs depend on replying to my comments and your self esteem has taken a bashing today because you’re just not smart enough for the job they hired you for. From the city of Baden-Baden in Germany to Genf in Switzerland is less than the distance of Lagos-Ibadan, one can live in Abeokuta and work in Lagos… what’s wrong with that? • tundemash

No point removing Tinubu’s hand for Bode George to take over. Why aren’t the anti-corruption agencies controlled by your party not on Tinubu’s case and get him to answer for his crime and serve as a deterrent to others ?
Shouting Tinubu is corrupt while the FG-controlled anti-corruption agencies does not thing about it is indicting the FG of incompetence! AIT can play with your mind for all i care, if the man who swore to uphold the constitution act continues to sleep on duty, you are just shouting for nothing !

          • Bambam

I understand tundemash is the same as @Wahala..and my software here has proven that to me..but I would reply you all the same because you have made a sensible contribution devoid of insults or disrespect..

You know how Nigeria works..no one is prosecuted for stealing and embezzlement..and the singular reason JonaTAN is being voted out is because under him corruption and waste has gone to another level..its gone nuclear..but smearing him on AIT is just to prove to Tinubu that JonaTAN is not going down alone..

If we want genuine change at the centre through Buhari whom we trust..then we should seek to change Lagos state too..with Buhari as president Bode George cannot dip his hands in the till brazenly as Tinubu is doing..let alone he is too rich to even contemplate that..ask true Lagosians they would tell you Bode George has done more personally for Lagos indigenes either by helping them get jobs or fixing them in the armed forces if they are interested in that..but somehow they never get any credit..because Tinubu has seized the media space and demonised everyone not in camp with him..Lagos state is the only state in Nigeria that has a budget specifically set aside to bribe journalists and media houses..hence why Tinubu is a saviour and everyone else is the devil..

You also forget Ambode would be having two godfathers in Tinubu and Fashola..and numerous mini godfathers and godmothers beneath the scene..for a man like Agbaje to quit Tinubu’s camp way back in 2005 and eventually find his way to PDP to challenge this one man hegemony in the state..I think that makes him a single minded individual who would not be bossed around by any godfather including Bode George..so stop using that as an issue..the SINGULAR GODFATHER LAGOS HAS AND WOULD EVER HAVE IS TINUBU!!!

          • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

            Really?

            Where is NPA again?

Bruv, I don’t know what you are on, but whatever it is, it is not good for you!

Please drop it. Neither Bode George, Koro nor PDP would do Lagos any good. 16 years of knowledge cannot be thrown down the sink and straight into the hands of those who are only looking to plunder.

Why are you so hell bent on cutting your nose to spite your own face?

Surely, you can’t be that ugly!

          • Bambam

Look Kay I respect many of your comments online..thus I would reply you respectfully..

If you know the amount of plunder that has been done to the finance of Lagos state..surely you won’t be saying all these..Tinubu..Fashola and their godson Ambode have seriously ran the state’s finances aground and left it in debts..with falling oil prices..reduced allocation from the FG..it means Lagosians would have to bear the massive brunt of paying back the debts..and even that would not be enough to pay it..there is only so much you can tax on the people without causing social unrest..that is why Tinubu in his so called progressive way out for the economy advocated for printing more naira..and abolishing the international gold reserves standard..so that if Buhari wins he can run the economy into a mess for him..just to pay back the massive debts they have incurred on the state..

These are desperate men and for 16 years they have used so much propaganda Lagosians are now locked in what you call a Stockholm syndrome..they have falling in love with their hostage takers and slave task masters..that the thought of being set free scares them so much..Now for a man to have left Tinubu and his party in 2005 and singularly contested against Fashola/Tinubu in 2007..and then found his way to PDP despite the unpopularity of the party it shows single-mindedness and such a man should be respected..he is nobody’s pram that can be pushed around unlike Ambode..if Agbaje wanted political office at all cost he would have stayed in Tinubu’s camp and maybe today he would have become a senator or something like Tinubu wanted to do to him..so has to diminish his political influence and be the only godfather in the state..

So for you to think Bode George or Koro would influence such a man should he become governor..then you joking..16 years of APC in Lagos has flown by and we’ve hardly seen much..all we’ve seen is just shadowy progress..it should be way better than this with over $40 billion of revenue the state has seen in the last 12 years…but its all been looted..in any case should we have an anti-corruption government led by Buhari in the centre on March 28th..there is nothing for us to be scared about in having an Agbaje led PDP government in Lagos state on April 11th..think about it brother..In God and Agbaje we trust..JK is OK!!

          • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

            @Bambam,

            My sincere apologies to you.

I have looked at my posting again and it does appear rude to your person; albeit, that was not the intention.

I shall come back to respond to the points you have raised separately.

Thanks for not responding ‘in kind’.

          • Bambam

Its alright apologies accepted..I knew you were better than that!!

          • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

            Thanks.

          • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

Bruv, if I get you right, the fulcrum of your post rests on three planks, i.e. the economic thrust and direction of Tinubu, the APC hegemony in Lagos and its relationship with Lagosians and vice versa, and lastly, the person of JK and his backers. Right?

To the first point you raised, I presume you are familiar with economic theory of both Brown and Osborne. The former got rid of the gold standard and the later is implementing a hard austerity measure. I need not regale you with the impacts of both but you are no doubt aware of how both were perceived and welcomed by the people. If, going by your opinion of BAT’s theory, he is going to toe a line between both extreme poles, what are the outcomes you would expect?

Secondly, you ascribed the relationship between Lagosians and APC (in its current and previous manifestations) as akin to “Stockholm Syndrome”. But that is hardly fair and almost certainly, revisionist. That description totally ignores the history of neglect and abuse suffered by Lagos for many years, even while it was the seat of the FGN and after it was abandoned like a geriatric maid, by an unscrupulous lover.

Lagosians remember these things and are generally happy to see another image of order being recreated out of the disorder and chaos that used to the epithets for Lagos. Under the ACN hegemony, a new Lagos, anchored on law and order is being rebuilt. Therefore, the people identify with the people delivering these.

I am honest enough to admit that there is still a long way to go in making Lagos what it can truly become, but being able to walk safely and unmolested around Oshodi, Mile 2 and Ajegunle between 23:00 – 0:00 hours a couple of years back is a testimony to how far Lagos has come. It would be foolhardy to risk jeopardising these for the sake of trying an untested man backed by a convicted felon and another who was recently exposed as an unrepentant influence peddler and election stealer / rigger.

You spoke almost glowingly about JK. In similar terms to how naive people romanticised the notion of a shoeless GEJ in 2011 and sought to dichotomise him from the PDP. Most of the people who travelled that route then are the most vociferous GEJ opponents today. They have realised, belatedly, that the company a man keeps can only be in line with his character. Show me your friend…

            Need I state anymore?

In 2011, JK’s late running mate was very well known to me personally. We ideologically parted ways in 1986/7 but retained mutual academic respects for each other. I, moreso, than the other. But that he became JK’s running mate was always an indication that JK would never be able to upturn the status quo for looting, but would entrench and sustain it.

If I abhor that at the centre, there is no way I’d encourage its nurturing on the streets of Lagos.

A PDP / JK government in Alahusa would be a disaster of monumental and epic proportions.

          • tundemash

I guess you use same software that Dumbo was going to use to seperate goats from yam ! Ode !
Only a cl0wn would clap for a govt. that screams someone is a a thief and yet stand by aside while the thief keeps stealing.

          • tundemash

I guess you use same software Dumbo wants to use to separate the yam from the goat. Either you are f00ling or the software is f00ling you, certainly something is amiss if you can’t differentiate between @wahala and myself; you lack the ability to discern !

Nice to know you have realised it is end of road for your JonaTAN!

If Tinubu is guilty of corruption, your FG-controlled anti-corruption agencies would do us all a lot of good by getting him to answer for those charges so that “Ambode would not have two godfathers” as you put it. I have not seen you call for Dumbo and his anti-corruption agencies to wake up to their responsibilities. But the PDP and you shouting Tinubu is corrupt while the FG does nothing is to say the least is cheap politics meant to feed gullible minds like yours!

          • Bambam

I insist tundemash is the same as @ Wahala..my cryptographic software has analysed all of your posts and that of Wahala and found you wanting..you are one and the same person!!..

Back to the main issue..if you’ve ever followed all my posts I have always been clamouring for a Buhari presidency..I was the one who started it online that Buhari is not just a name on a ballot paper..he has become a mass movement for millions of neglected and suffering Nigerians whom corruption by some greedy bastards called elites has stifled their lives..so for you to say I have realised its the end of the road for JonaTAN or a PDP e-rat makes you an APC groupie..the ones who demonise everyone the moment they don’t support something about APC particularly their biggest propaganda arm and master..Lagos APC and Tinubu…I say to you categorically Buhari we know and trust..but Tinubu and Lagos APC we do not trust simple!!

In terms of prosecuting Tinubu..you know in Nigeria at present no one gets prosecuted for stealing and corruption..at least not when JonaTAN is still using his goat and yam analogy or looking for technology to stop corruption. Its the main reason we want Buhari to take over and deliver Nigerians from this mess..but as for Lagos state its the end of the road for the mafia enterprise led by Tinubu..and his new mafia godson Ambode he wants to install…we say NO to corruption in all its ramifications..In God and Agbaje we trust..JK is OK!!

          • tundemash

If you insisist @tundemash and @wahala are same , i will say lets address the madman as the bridegroom so we can have some breath of fresh air.

To claim that you started the claim that Buhari has become a movement is a failed atemmpt at self-glorification. As far as i am concerned, your footprint on the online forum is very very minimal and is your bootleg Ikeja computer village cryptographic software also able to sniff around all online forums ?

Once again, no point replacing Tinubu, whom you labelled as a rogue with another rogue Bode George; the most sensible thing is Tinubu should immediately be charged to court and be made to pay for his alleged sins. I wonder why PDP is so reluctant to legally get the man who has been a stumbling block to their rape on Nigeria off the road ?

          • Matthew keyh

Lagos has been governed very well ,there is an astronomical developmental progress in Lagos state Lagos has not enjoyed any special status from the Federal government Lagos has a population of 21million people The population of lagos is more than the population of Scotland and Wales put together .There is massive pressure on social infrastructure in lagos state the problem in Nigeria is that people dont like to pay taxes that is why they dont like APC government in lagos state Look at the BRT it cost billions of naira to run this buses ,llok at the waste disposals it cost money to dispose rubbish generated by people and companies in lagos what about health care Lagosians should not make mistake of voting PDP they are Rogues

          • Bambam

If we have Buhari as President..there is nothing to fear having PDP in power in Lagos state..Lagos from its history has always been in opposition hands..from 1953 till date the government in charge of Lagos is always different from the government at the centre..and long may that continue..

Lagosians are not afraid to pay tax or pay for social amenities when they work..people pay money and even queue to buy BRT tickets because they believe it gets them faster to their destination and better than Molues..but now BRT due to mismanagement are becoming like Molues..no new improvements to them..no modernisation of the idea..in essence all I’m saying is Lagosians would not pay if they see that the little they are already paying is being stolen and mismanaged by a cabal led by Tinubu and his cavorting mafia gang members in Lagos state..In God and Agbaje we trust..JK is OK!!

          • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

You might not like Tinubu just as lots of non Yorubas never liked Awolowo but he remains a leader most Yorubas will follow. He carries the ideas and vision of Pa Awolowo on his shoulders. He might not be able to completely fit into his shoes and he has pretended to but he remains trusted in the mindset of the average Yoruba man..Not one allegation has been proved against him. They are baseless, unproven and simply politically jejune.Whether you believe it or Not,at every point in the history of the Yoruba, there would always be compass to look at and follow and i dare say, that compass is Tinubu.Wonder why the govt of the day is scared of him and saying all sorts against him though unproven and yet they can’t arrest him.
You can’t march Tinubu’s capacity with the Lords in Abuja.Like Awolowo, his magnitude surpasses theirs. His ideas and leadership qualities is unmarchable. His human resources qualities is par excellence.Talk about the generation of IGR in states today, employment generation,Traffic regulations,BRT,development of new cities, mega schools…..these were novel ideas generated and begun by Tinubu.
This is the fact and to let you know:i don’t know him nor have i ever met him.

  • Tunsj

Dayo Adeyeye, so how will you describe your boss, Jonathan? “Super Corrupt- Personified”. Also. a man that looted $20 billion.

  • New Nigerian

Any upright person would currently not be in the administration of Jonathan – who is a rebel leader bent on converting all Nigerian commonwealth to his own, while benefiting no one in the process (even his home town has no electricity):

Even though, Tinubu is not running for any political office, PDP could not stop but be jittery of Tinubu influence. How would a party in Government, that has all it takes to prosecute corrupt people, continue to use character assassination against their opponents instead of doing what the constitution empower them to do? PDP government and not only Jonathan is “Super Corrupt”. The likes of Bode George, Kashamu, Gbenga Daniel, Annenih, Dizeani, Fany Kayode, Oduaghan etc are enough to describe what today PDP stands for. Nigerians are ready to vote Buhari March 28th and not Tinubu. Every attack on the person of Tinubu is waste of time.

    • Wähala

Once upon a time in Yorubaland, a thief is ostracized and treated as a leper until the Fulani came in the form of Abacha and taught how to be transparently corrupt (according to Tinubu saying OBJ taught him that style). Now, some people want to re-write our moral code by trying so hard to crown Tinubu as the leader of Yoruba. No matter how long a lie has gone, truth would overtake it in a jiffy.

Speculation by the people and insinuation by the opposition is as old as democracy itself. Pointing accusing finger at someone for being rich is the poor man’s pastime. One thing is certain about Tinubu, he has positioned himself politically and economically to match the shenanigans of the ruling PDP toe to toe. Defending the poor and the helpless especially in Nigeria is not an easy task like what Jarwarlal Nehru and Ghandi did in India. I actually commend Tinubu for his strategic stand to stop the madness of PDP on its track. If anyone have an iota of certitude that Tinubu has stolen public money or property let the person go to court. If with all the power of the federal government, GEJ cannot prove a single case of corruption against Tinubu in and out of office, I think we should just all shut up and accept the reality of Tinubu within Nigeria political landscape.

Mr. Soludo however said he would no longer release the second and third parts of his promised three-part response to Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala’s reply to his first article on the state of the economy.
Mr. Soludo’s first salvo at the government, alleging extensive abuse and corruption in the system and grading Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala “F” on economic management, triggered a combative response from the minister who labelled Mr. Soludo Nigeria’s worst CBN governor.
In his second piece, Mr. Soludo said the government’s poor management of the economy had resulted in the loss of N30 trillion.
He said the amount did not include the estimated $40.9 billion (N8.6 trillion at parallel market exchange rate or nearly two years’ Federal Government budget) which the African Union’s (AU) recent report claims to be “stolen” from Nigeria each year.
Mr. Soludo said Wednesday he will hold fire henceforth, and that his decision followed reports quoting the minister as saying she would no longer join issues with him.

      I STAND BY MY STATEMENTS
      Chukwuma Charles SOLUDO, CFR
      1. My attention has been drawn to statements credited to the Hon. Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, in response to my latest article and call for a structured debate on the issues. According to the report, she no longer wants to join issues with me. In the circumstance of the moment, I therefore withhold parts two and three of my promised three-part response.
      2. Let me also state for the avoidance of doubt that I stand by every statement I made in the two articles viz: (1) “Buhari Vs Jonathan: Beyond the Elections”; and (2) “Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the Missing Trillions”. In particular, I insist that over N30 trillion has either been stolen or unaccounted for, or grossly mismanaged over the last few years. This figure does not include the estimated $40.9 billion (N8.6 trillion at parallel market exchange rate or nearly two years’ Federal Government budget) which the African Union’s (AU) recent report claims to be “stolen” from Nigeria each year.
      3. I wish to thank Nigerians all over the world who have been contributing to this timely debate. This is election time and it is expected that some vested interests will either choose to live in denial or attempt to politicise the issues. But from the debate so far, I am convinced that our economic management won’t be the same again. Once our managers know that the citizens will rigorously and vigorously challenge them to account, the welfare of the citizens will be better for it. Whoever wins has his job cut out for him, and to the extent that this debate has challenged the respective teams to seriously re-examine their blueprints to guarantee the security and prosperity of every Nigerian, my objective is accomplished. I love my country Nigeria, and as I said before, I won’t keep quiet again.

Tinubu is not the president, GEJ bought a $500 Million Farm in office and Abati says there is nothing wrong with that because OBJ did the same. Lagos get over what 7 states get in one month! SO what is the performance you are talking about? You are very f00lish!

      • Festuso

Lagos harbours everyone from all states in Nigeria…..the educated and the uneducated, the miscreants and vagabonds as well as the street beggars who are loaded in trucks from all over the country and dumped in Lagos. Do you still want to compare Lagos to other states? The issues that Lagos deals with on a daily basis with resources accruing to it far outweigh what ten other Nigerian states have to contend with!

        • John Kennedy

The allocation to Lagos is not as much as those of Bayelsa, Rivers, Dlta, Akwa Ibom so I don’t know where the fellow got his quibbling about Lagos getting more than seven states. Lagos monthly allocation is not up to one per cent of the entire allocations. Besides Lagos has more people to care for that those seven states combined and is discharging its responsibilities so well to its huge mass of people. On the other hand, the PDP federal govt that is so consumed by Lagos gets over 52 per cent of the entire monthly federation account allocations excluding a larger sum that is not usually captured in this budgetary scale but has NOTHING to show for this huge idle fund except horrendous cases of stealing, looting, fraud, etc. maybe it is Tinubu that is responsible for this.

      • Eniriches

And the population of Lagos, is the population of how many state? There’s a budget in place, this with Revenue accruing to the state, and expenditure incurred by the state.
A documentary was aired about Tinubu, he felt aggrieved and has headed for the courts. What else do you want him to do? If he is corrupt, he should be the one defending himself in court, from unslaught of EFCC. I guess that, the documentary contains no actionable substance, that’s why the anti corruption agencies have not pounced on Tinubu.
The documentary for it’s worth, I will call another ” Tales by moonlight”.

How Bola Tinubu and Raji Fashola robbed Lagos State

Between May 1999 and now, Lagos state government has earned $40 billion dollars
as revenues but the money – less salary and running expenses – was partly shared
between Bola Tinubu and Raji Fashola under corporate guise in the worst scam ever
    in modern Yoruba history.

In 2012, Lagos state floated a loan bond of ₦87.5 billion in November to borrow
at 14.5% interest rate and got public investors to subscribe for repayment with interest
but once the bond was fully subscribed, Raji Fashola took 40% of that money –
about 35 billion Naira or so – and handed it over in cash to Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
via bogus corporate fronts, namely: (a) Lekki Concession Company, (b) ARM company,
    and, (c) Hitech company
; in a bogus “buy-back deal” of a supposed concession right
    on the 15-kilometre Lekki Expressway.

    • O.Majeks

……….(2) How Bola Tinubu and Raji Fashola robbed Lagos State

This patently corrupt deal was ostensibly to buy back Lagos state ‘concession rights’
on the Lekki tolled Expressway, said Raji Fashola, but what the corrupt and clever by half
Raji Fashola did not say is that the land at issue belongs to Lagos state
and was never sold to Bola Tinubu’s companies in the first place.

Or did Bola Tinubu’s companies invest 35 billion Naira developing the road.

      In other words, by sheer fraud, Raji Fashola paid Bola Tinubu 25 years profit upfront;
without any work, A lien was then imposed on Lagos state allocation of federal revenue
for the next 3 years to pay for this 87.5 billion Naira bond debt by Lagos residents,
on top of another $3.7 billion dollars of debt Raji Fashola has so far incurred
without any sustainable project to show for it; a debt equal to the gross future income
of Lagos state from Nigeria’s federal allocation in the next 3½ years.

For instance, Mr. Disun Holloway, Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism is a board
member of LAGBUS Asset Management Ltd.

Though the board members and other key beneficiaries are likely to be fleecing
the scheme through profit sharing and other means, the Lagbus scheme is no longer
profitable. The Managing Director of LAGBUS, Mr. Tunde Disu at a radio program
in 2012 claimed that the buses being managed by the company were 803.

Whereas, the total number of buses on the roads on a daily basis is about 190,
while the buses operating 2 years ago were 300, which means the buses operating
are reducing due to mis-management. This is because most of the buses have
broken down and are abandoned at depots due to expensive and unsustainable
contract maintenance policy, although most of the buses are less than 3-years-old,
they have been allowed to rot away. Hence, about 600 buses have deteriorated and
          are now wasting.”

          You guys are mistaking cancer for boil. Raji Fashola exemplifies the corruptive rot;

with Bola Tinubu on the streets of Lagos – in defence of the obvious official thefts
in Lagos state – the majority illiterates in Lagos state can be excused for ignorance.

What i am saying here is that Lagos’ intellectual elites have wholly lost their marbles.
It’s not inconceivable that but for age
Wole Soyinka too would have joined marching.
Once Yoruba academic elites thus view thefts as ‘beneficial’ the soul of Yorubaland died.

Raji Fashola is a disgrace to educated Nigerians for making official personnel decisions
partly based on Islam. Even if he was failing and repeating in school, as he’d said, he still
fell below the intelligence quotient of an average man without much education but merely
possessed of clarity of thought on right and wrong.

For mismanaging Lagos schools into producing 80% school certificate failure rate
since 2007 when he resumed office in Lagos, Raji Fashola’s incompetence has now
almost destroyed the immediate future of Lagos state, besides the un-precedented
debt of 3.7billion dollars he’s incurred as at today and put on the broken neck of
the Lagos state government: a debt equivalent to forfeiting the next three and half
years of Lagos state revenues from federal allocation. The effect, is rapid loss of
trust and truthfulness in Lagos society, plus continuous thefts of Lagos state assets
by ordinary citizens now told stealing is open season in Lagos state.

          • Pauline

That is the point. That was the moment Lagos state under Bola Ahmed Tinubu

    • K. Magregor

      Editor Sir,

Have you ever wondered why NOBODY in Lagos state has ever asked Raji Fasola
to fight against corruption? If you investigate this simple question you’ll have all the
answers you need, in case you are still in doubt that APC in Lagos state is indeed
a ‘criminal organization – full of Alhajis – signifying nothing‘. You will also find
that Lagosians rue and are all fully agreed that they elected thieves to rule Lagos.

      • Esichei

        @ Magregor,

Ehn, ehn, that also means Lagosians want thieves to ruin their lives. People deserve the
sort of government they vote for. Yoruba people are self-destructive, immoral hypocrites
looking for good virtues in other people’s lands which virtues they don’t uphold in their own land.

Dayo Adeyeye as minister of works is part of the league of rogues looting ,stealing and embezzling our national commonwealth.Adeyeye should point out how many Federal roads he has embarked upon and completed since he was appointed minister of works.Lagos to Ibadan road and Ibadan to Akure to Benin Federal roads are complete death traps causing untold destruction and untimely motorists death daily. The looters of our national commonwealth shall pay darely for their numerous crimes against average Nigerians.

  • squarek

Mr. Minister are you not ashamed that your government and the anti corruption agencies under your control have done nothing to arrest the “situation” in Lagos state, but you are happy to put your lies and propaganda in the public domain just to demonise the opposition in an attempt thwart the change that Nigerians are clamouring for. We will soon find out who amongst you pdp louts should be in prison for corruption starting with GEJ and his acquisitions of villages in Abuja as farmland, money laundering saga in South Africa etc. All that will unravel soon.

    • izelakhe

If you need change is Tinubu and Apc the change and I am so ashamed of the adults of these country (you inclusive), your accusation is base on GEJ acquiring a farm land in Abuja no problem I will admit your point, what about the so call old man(Obasanjo) who also looted Nigeria wealth as a military president, stole through PDP as civilian president and acquire the Biggest farm in Liberia, own a lot of palm oil plantation he false fully collected from cross river state government and because of is ambition contesting for a position in the UN sold the land of bakasi people and live them in suffer, is that not wickedness of the highest order, wickedness to human and God. Nobody said anything about obasonjo but the little farm GEJ acquire in our country Nigeria now made him a corrupt Nigerian when you and every average Nigerian is feeding from the same system call corruption.

      • squarek

My fellow compatriot if you are an ardent follower of Nigerian public affair you will have come across several criticism of OBJ by several commentators including myself, If you care to know the southwest never voted for OBJ throughout his presidency but the PDP aided by Iwu (former INEC chairman) kept rigging themselves into power pan Nigeria. So there is no basis for your disdain, However because OBJ was lawless, corrupt, insincere, and a failure does not mean we should condone kleptocracy and bad governance by whosoever. Don’t forget that the southwest freely gave GEJ their vote in 2011 without him sweating for it or asking him for any favour in return. If GEJ is a good leader he should have held OBJ to account and more. But instead of him wiping the slate clean and repay Nigerians for their unflinching support with good governance, he wallowed in corruption allowing it to grow wings. Do you know that no previous government of Nigeria ever earned as much from oil sales as the GEJ administration (courtesy of Y’ardua’s amnesty program that quadrupled oil production, and international oil prices almost doubling during GEJ’s tenure) but with very little to show for it apart from repairing archaic standard gauge rail system which most of the world ditched at least half a century ago, and then carrying out routine responsibility of government. So where did all that extra income disappeared to?. If you care to find out. you will find that most of the big developmental projects (refineries, industry, express roads, bridges, Abuja etc) in Nigeria were built by the military who earned far less national revenue than the civilian administrations. So are you saying we should continue to encourage kleptocracy, mediocrity and bad governance by returning a government of proven ineptitude, cluelessness, kleptomania into power either by default or by inaction simply because a previous administration is guilty of the same?. As a youth you should be more interested in a way to put a stop to bad governance so that the resources of our blessed country can be harnessed to give your generation and the ones after you a much better life that God intended for you through his blessings of rich natural endowments of our country.

        • izelakhe

Same old people, the same people that want to provide change are the same corrupt people surrounding the change what a change. A change of corruption in another dimension.

          • squarek

Whilst I am not here to defend anybody I ned to point out to you that most of the stories and insinuation of corruption against key officers of the opposition is mere propaganda. Tinubu the main focus of the lies is no longer a governor and so does not have immunity from prosecution. Have you asked yourself why they have not used EFCC against him even though it is under Federal government control. This government is very quick to use government agencies against those it regards as its enemy but all they can do is put out lies in the public domain to demonise their opponents as they don’t have a case that will stand up to judicial scrutiny. The main issue facing Nigerians now is to put a stop to the rot which the current government made worse than it was when it took over power. The reality as it stand today is that APC is the only opposition party that is capable of wrestling power away from the grip of PDP and so anyone that wants Nigeria to change direction must seize the opportunity to get rid of PDP. The reality is that the ” same old people” as you put it are the only viable option to rescue Nigeria through the coming elections.

          • izelakhe

My brother you said allegation against Tinubu are lies, they are not lies but the truth. Take or live it.

        • izelakhe

And for the sales of oil you are talking about it is being shared among the states what did state governors do with their money to easy the life of innocent Nigerians all people think about is what they will benefit from the oil revenue none of the states is ready to create wealth only to share from the national cake. When you talk and blame Jonathan for corruption of which every average Nigerian as grown corruption in there homes. Changes is not Jonathan neither Buhari changes should come from every individuals in this country, from our homes, churches, mosque, senate, Rep, Governors, Local government chairmen, Businessmen, Civil servant, Judiciary, Lawyers, doctors, leaders and follower. Not Changes in interparty activities. As politicians says, in politic no permanent friend and no permanent enemy but a permanent interest, their own interest. Is that change?.

          • squarek

Focusing on state governments in this debate is futile. The Federal goverment as the one vested with the overall authority and resources is the only entity with the capacity to bring about enduring changes into the system through intelligent policies which will include far reaching reforms of the criminal justice system. It will then permeate through the states, local governments and so on. the role of the religious institutions too will be guided by F.G policies. Where the government deliberately turn a blind eye to the abuse of religion and the excesses of religious leaders, use religion as a tool to divide and rule the people, they can not positively impact the behaviour of their adherents. whilst you have a point in advocating a role for all and sundry in order for change to happen, it is also defeatist and wishy washey to expect everyone to decide that they want to change. That role is for the main government of the land which it can effectively carry out through social engineering making use of the powers vested in it by the constitution, and also the allocation of resources. That is and should be what leadership is all about, not personal agradisement and focusing on the trappings of office.

          • izelakhe

So you mean states does not have there own policy but rely on policy from Federal government. LOL

  • burning spear

APC should defend the allegations of converting almost all the landed properties in Lagos to Mr. Tinubu’s personal use and monumental looting of the state by the former governor, rather than embarking on a show of support for corruption in the name of one-million-man march.APC and its leaders need to seek forgiveness from God for stealing Lagos State blind, instead of marching on the heads of the same Lagosians that they shortchanged for 16 years.” The thing with gullible Nigerians is that even if Tinubu and the party presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari are shown in a video robbing Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerians from the Fulani North and the the South West of the Yoruba enclave must vote for the party of the Apes in APC-regardless———————-Hence the move by APC to raise Tinubu above the Great Deeds of Awo-
