APC Lagos march designed to help “sinking” Tinubu — Fani-Kayode

Femi Fani-Kayode

The spokesperson of President Goodluck Jonathan campaign organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has stated that the planned march by the opposition All Progressives Congress in Lagos, is to help shore up support for a former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu.

Mr. Fani-Kayode, who addressed a press conference on Friday in Abuja, said his office considered the march preposterous, and a deliberate attempt by the APC to try to shore up what he described as the sagging image and reputation of Tinubu “in the light of the mind-boggling revelations, in a TV documentary, titled: “Unmasking the Real Tinubu,” about how he has almost privatized Lagos State.

The campaign spokesperson said the president’s campaign would not have bothered about the APC and the decision of its members to hold a march, except that information available to him suggested that the APC planned to attack Mr. Jonathan, the governorship candidate of the PDP in Lagos, Jimi Agbaje and some of its leaders, including Olabode George and Musiliu Obanikoro.

“It is sardonic that the APC is mobilizing its members and supporters in Lagos and environs for a march to sing songs in Tinubu’s honour and chant his praises when, in fact, the people of Lagos, having now known the extent of his manipulative and acquisitive stranglehold on the economy of the state, should be the ones to embark on a spontaneous protest against the will of one man to perpetually subjugate the people to an ungodly economic and political control,” he said.

He also said that if there should be any rally or protest in Lagos, such should be directed against the exposed “fake lion of Bourdillion”.

He advised Lagosians to use the rally to demand to know how Mr. Tinubu acquired the humongous items of property listed against his name in the documentary.

“The time has come for the good people of Lagos to deliver themselves from the bondage of the APC and its errant and autocratic godfather,” he said.

Mr. Fani-Kayode said the forthcoming general elections presented the opportunity to put an end to the leadership of the APC in Lagos state.

“The looting must stop,” he said. “The deception must stop. The people must say through their votes that “enough is enough”. We therefore call on Lagosians, especially the youths who have been mobilized and promised N10, 000 each to march tomorrow, to collect the money, since it is their money anyway, and reject these charlatans and their lying APC at the polls.”

APC planning to compromise judiciary

Mr. Fani-Kayode also said the APC was planning to compromise the justice system in Nigeria by attempting to influence the Lagos State High Court during the course of any litigation in which they and their leaders have an immediate or remote interest.

He said leaders of the APC have openly boasted of their intention to do this and have constantly told all those that care to listen that they own the Lagos State High Court.

“We do not believe this and neither do we believe that any judge of the Lagos State High Court or elsewhere will allow him or herself to be compromised or used,” he said. “We have every confidence in the Nigerian Judiciary and we trust and believe that in the highest and most noble tradition of the Nigerian Bench, our judges will maintain their hard-earned integrity and will not allow themselves to be compromised by the corruptive influence of the APC and its fraudulent leaders. We believe that such evil manipulations and attempts by the APC to pervert the course of justice will be resisted by the courts.”

Mr. Fani-Kayode also said his office was in possession of credible information about the APC’s plan to procure the services of some disgruntled persons within and outside Nigeria to attack and assassinate the characters of leaders of the PDP in the build-up to the March 28 and April 11 general elections.

He said APC leaders have offered huge sums of money to the former staff of numerous PDP leaders, including the President, the Vice President, the National Chairman, the DG of the Presidential Campaign Organisation, the Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, the National Security Advisor, two Directors of the Presidential Campaign Organisation including himself and numerous other key government and party leaders and functionaries to fabricate the “most unbelievable, salacious, chilling and macabre tales about their former principals in an attempt to discredit us,” he said.

Mr. Fani Kayode advised the APC leadership that instead of organizing a support march for Mr. Tinubu, they should “seek the counsel of God and they should ask for deliverance from the vicious and unrelenting demons that have taken control of their hearts, souls and minds and that undoubtedly possess them.”

“They should be truthful to themselves about what they really stand for and what their real intentions for Nigeria are,” he said. “They should accept the fact that they are a dying and decaying party that has nothing to offer the Nigerian people.”

He said on its part, the PDP was committed to continuing the good work that it has been doing for the last 16 years.

“Under the able leadership of our candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan, we shall continue with our stated objective and agenda of transforming our nation and touching the lives of our people,” he said.

stop being jealous and concentrate on you own campaign…you talk to damn much

  • babatope

Pdp is sinking yet you are saying tinubu is sinking. You can show all the hate documentary of this world we are voting APC. Yeye mental retarded guy

  • Johnson Omale

This dementia man will soon fight in public. His eyes are red, ready to fight!

  • Omooba Adekunle Orafidiya

PDP is acting as if it is helpless in this Tinubu matter. This is no time to talk; it is time to act in the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians. What a responsible government ought to do is to wake EFCC and ICPC up from their slumber and order Tinubu’s arrest with immediate effect. As soon as Fasola becomes an ex-governor, he must also be taken in. The allegations contained in that AIT documentary are too weighty to be ignored by any Administration worth its salt. APC should not be allowed to act as if its members are above the law. This is the same way Buhari is carrying on as if nothing can happen to him after committing serious offences like forgery and perjury. Enough of this nonsense.

    • Naija man

It beats me that you are the only retard among all the other GEJ e-rat retards who is just knowing that the PDP and GEJ are helpless and irresponsible. If relying on such hogwash of documentary (that is based purely on conjectures and fallacies with no documented evidences to present before any court of competent jurisdiction) is what you guys hope to rely on to put Tinubu away, kindly note that your party chairman Muazu has his files in EFCC- ditto Gbenga Daniel, FoodForKayode and others while ex-convicts DSP Alams are Bode George are worse off.

    • They can only act if their claims are true. Remember they have all the Institutions under their control. They however know that their allegations are baseless. They say some of these things to wipe up sentiments with the intention of gaining political advantage.

  • demi tubors

The abuja peace accord that was signed is being contravened many times by pdp. Issue based campaigns is what we seek u losers, sai baba sai buhari. Femi fani kayode that was educated with tax payers money embezzled aviation ministry’s funds and he yet castigates tinubu, pdp will sink in apc waters come elections day.

    • Tom MN

The only certificate we want to see now is FFK mental clearance , he should deny that he wasn’t admitted into mental institution in Ghana lol, crazy crack head. 5 mins he would sing praises of APC and next 5 mins singing for PDP.

  • Naija man

How could Tinubu have been arraigned and convicted in a US court in 1993 when he was elected and served as a SDP senator of Nigeria between 1992-93 ahead of the botched June 12 1993 election in the short-lived 3rd republic? TInubu and other NADECO chieftains fled Nigeria in 1994 after late MKO Abiola was arrested and detained by late General Sani Abacha, they sought and were granted political asylum in USA and lived in the west till 1998 when they returned to Nigeria. Stop peddling falsehood!!!

na portorportor full ur head. Omo eran

      • Naija man

It is sad that your emptiness is so obvious that the portoporto in my head is superior to the white substance in your near-empty skull and far supersedes whatever you have inside of you. If you have any substance in you, give it expression via your keyboard and stop playing crass stupidity and comprehensive folly to the gallery.

    • New Nigerian

There is no honour amongst thieves – so logic is the first casualty of those who would do anything, say anything to pick your pocket. They would even organize a drama show so you can focus on their drama while that is going on. The drama kings that the chief-robber of the nation has organized casts Fani Kayode, Metuh, Dokubo, Boko Haram, Oritsejafor, the mad-man-of-Ekiti Fayose etc….they read the same script and give it different meanings in their “shows”…for Boko Haram it is rude and shocking extreme violence and it gets lighter from there based on the actor. Fani Kayode is more like the alawada-Baba sala angle. This macabre shows are not funny to Nigerians but it is Jonathan’s bestial way of having fun with us all. God will deliver us from these evil sadist and we would do our part by voting them out en masse.

  • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

I find it amusing that For Food-only Kayode can claim that APC tried to offer him huge money and yet refused to name the said APC person!

Is this the same man who did not think twice before publicly naming women he had slept with in the past?

When they lie, they forget their listeners have intelligence too.

We are not all as moronic as some of the ears at Aso Rock.

    • Tom MN

I dont usually believe rumor easily but the guy has proved his critics right that he has mental problems, just the fact that he was crucifying GEJ and pdp a year ago and now turn around to start praising pdp again, only a man with no conscience or mental problem can switch that fast and easily.

      • Benny born

Fani is following in the inglorious “mouthsteps” of his father. He is now being fed by Jona so he can curse his mother. Useless boy!

    • Reminisce6

The year was 1965. I was an innocent starry-eyed 13 year-old and Nigeria was in turmoil. It was the era of the “wetie,” when the houses of politicians and key public-figures were burnt down in the brouhaha that was then Western Nigeria.
We lived in Oke-Ado in Ibadan and our next-door neighbour was Chief Ogundiran, a minister in the government of
Chief S.L. Akintola, the Premier of the Western Region. (Ogundiran was famous for only wearing white.) In the spirit of the times, a mob came early one morning and burnt down his house. He jumped out of the window
      and managed to escape.
Fani-Power, Fani-igbo (Fani marijuana): I was having private lessons in Mathematics at the home of a colleague, Enitan Abiodun, when we heard the noise of a crowd outside. We rushed to the veranda to see Chief Remi Fani-Kayode (alias Fani-Power), then Deputy Governor of the Western Region, standing on the seat of a moving
convertible. He was surrounded by a mob, which was shouting and hailing him. On hearing the noise, Enitan’s mother rushed to the veranda shouting “Awo!” only to discover that the people outside were not supporters of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, but those of his arch-enemies.
The shout of “Awo!” by Mrs. Abiodun brought the procession to a screeching halt. “Who said that? Who said
that?” demanded the mob, enraged. “Fani-Power” turned and looked up at us. His eyes were the usual blood-shot red. At the time, many claimed it was because he regularly smoked Indian-hemp. Fani-Kayode pointed to our
building and identified to his thugs that the offending shout came from our direction. We did not know that the floor of the convertible he was standing in was loaded with empty bottles. His thugs reached for the bottles and rained them down on us as we all scrambled back inside the house for dear life.
Like father, like son: That was 48 yearsago. Today, Femi Fani-Kayode, the 53-year-old son of “Fani-Power,”
continues in the mischievous tradition of his father: throwing dangerous missiles at the innocent. He recently wrote an incendiary article entitled: “The Bitter Truth About the Igbo,” in which he maligned the Igbos and virtually told them to get out of Lagos and leave Lagos for the Yorubas.

      Excerpt from Femi Arbisala`s:

Obvious effect of FFK drug addiction. Eyin ara Ile Ife ati ipinle omoluabi, e lo mu FFK lo fun iwosan oogun oloroo. Orafidiya you are from Ile Ife, please take your brother FFK for urgent rehabilitation. Ile Ife once produced the legendary Governor of Western Region, Sir, Oba Adesoji Aderemi, but now produces some notorious bad brand – Omisore, Femi Fani-Kayode, Frayo, among others. Good people in Ife should come out to disown this Remi Fani-Kayode reincarnations

FFK is the punishment of APC!

  • Nuga A

Fani please go to the street of Lagos to see for yourself what APC stand for today.Lagos is saying YES to APC and NO to PDP.Go and advice your puppet and your paymaster tell them that the game is over for you and your cronies.

    • aminu musa

Are they saying yes to corruption?

  • bib

FFK! Mr big mouth, why don’t you for once address issues. We expected you to tell us if those bearded soldiers welcoming GEJ to Baga were not BH members, you kept mum. We expected you to tell us if madam ambrela was ‘misqouted’ urging people to stone the opposition, you kept mum. We expected you to explain to us if theOkrika shootings at APC rally was not because GEJ ordered the Okrika people not to welcome strangers, you kept mum. Etc. Instead you are telling us the meaning of political gathering. We already know that.

  • Sanmi Falae

Tinubu is now ‘a sinking ship’ because the man would not give in to your senseless plan to throw our election and plunge Nigeria into the darkness that PDP represents. Reality is, Tinubu is the saviour of Nigeria’s fledgling Democracy. For that alone, he commands the respect and support of every right thinking Nigeria.

    • aminu musa

No right thinking Nigerian will support Tinubu, knowing his corrupt lifestyle… God will send a savior, certainly not Timubu and his friends, maybe not GEJ. But I know any man corrupt as Tinubu needs psychiatric evaluation.

  • Concerned

FFK (GIGO ) is running out of garbage to spew .

He is now left with trawling through the media and collating all the criticism levied at GEJ and the PDP and recycling it to use against the APC.

Only problem with that is – whilst the criticism against the PDP is evidential – that against APC is childish and grossly exaggerated !

    • aminu musa

What is childish? The documentary against Tinubu?

      • Concerned

Yes – why don’t they make one about Ekitigate or GEJ’s farm or the missing trillions or the lives destroyed as a result of the insurgency or the devalued naira or the economic downturn or mass youth unemployment

Those matters are more relevant to the masses lives than the antics of one man who is not running for elective office !

  • Jika

    Is this guy really together???

  • shamsudeen sadiq

Tinubu and co are really evil and must be resisted by all means possible

Now that they have seen the march, a huge success, how do they feel, these bunch of looters called the PDP? Only a sinking party will have a mentally-challenged man speaking for it.

    • Original_Raskal

from their tax money, Tinubu will give them 500 naira for marching! hahaha! my f00lish people!
