The Nigerian military has assured that it will provide adequate security to all Nigerians during and after the forthcoming elections.
Defence spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, said in Abuja that the military was putting everything in place to ensure the safety of lives and property of the citizens of the country.
Mr. Olukolade, a Major General, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
“All considerations are on to put in whatever is required to comply with the security requirements of the nation in relations to elections or all other socio-economic activities,” he said.
On the operation in the North-East, the Defence spokesperson said that the military was doing its best.
“Everybody is doing his best and trying to improve and reverse any noted setback,” he said.
