Jonathan appoints new Fire Service Controller-General

President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Joseph Anebi as Controller-General of the Federal Fire Service.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the service, Biodun Obisesan, in Abuja on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the appointment was made on Thursday, December 4, 2014.

Mr. Anebi was the Controller in Charge of Logistics at the headquarters of the service in Abuja before the appointment.

He takes over from Ademola Jolaoso who served in acting capacity for four months.

The statement said the new Controller General would be decorated on December 17 by the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro.
