  • Ashibogu

Na wao! Sha, may the will of God be done!

    • Shehu

We don’t want a fanatic as governor in kaduna. Someone who used Jesus name to crack dirty Jokes?

      • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

        Pure bunkum!

      • JASK

CONGRATULATIONS EL-RUFAI. IF GOD GIVES ENABLES YOU TO WIN THE GENERAL ELECTIONS, RULE WITH JUSTICE. BE FAIR. BE RIGHTEOUS . BLESSINGS.

      • Peter

You are right. El-Rufai is a fanatic. He is rude and unruly and above all, he is a sectional politician. He will not make a good leader in a predominantly christian state. The people of Kaduna State should reject this poison.

        • Aminu

Do you have census figure to back your imagination! However what concerns you with Kaduna politics.I though Southern Kaduna are agitating for state. If you like go and hug transformer because El Rufai emerged as APC Governorship candidate

        • Jika

          Are you from Kaduna state?

  • Nwokolo

Congratulations Mallam Nasir El Rufai. No doubt you will perform.

  • MushinSpeaks

Mallam did it in Abuja while he was the FCT Minister and his achievement speaks for him; the people of Kaduna should trust him with their votes and he will transform the state to a Mega one.

  • Shehu Garba

Rufai beating Ashiru by only 386 votes EVEN WITH BUHARI’S BACKING, shows how hard it will be to sell (H)ell Rufai to the good people of kaduna state!
It’s going to be a case of a WRONG candidate at the wrong time and place!
Rufai has ZERO Electoral value. APC might pay for this indiscretion.

    • Rilwan

Point of Correction. It is by 586 Votes, secondly Ashiru was backed by some political heavyweights within and outside the APC and upon all that Mallam El-Rufai emerged victorious due to his proven integrity and competence.

    • Alhassan

But with shows the democracy you are agitating for i am sure you cannot see this in PDP. I pity kaduna people if they miss the oppurtunity at their disposal now, i knew kaduna for fast 10years as it is.

  • TheTwin

Let the real transformation begin, we need Leaders that will perform and bring us at par with our contemporary states and nations, not people who will just come in to feed fat on government coffers. Anybody doubting El-Rufai’s capability to move Kaduna to its rightful position amongst states of the Federation and Africa at large is just an empty, shameless, crumb catcher. We are tired of the old ways of Politics of rent paying. Kaduna People must unite to save their state from these blood-sucking scavengers.

    • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

I am sure Mallam Ribadu would be crying in his political wilderness now!

      • Shehu Garba

        So so petty as usual.

        • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

…and you are as dogmatic as the worst of them!

      • taiwo

        LOL, very true!

  • Paiko

Congrats! You will deliver given your pedigree. Kaduna State is favoured to have a candidate like you. Best wishes in the general election

    • how will an anti-christ perform other than bring destruction to the down trodden

      • Alhassan

This is your problem, you people are not objective at all. You must be anti-christ because you are busy speculating leir against people. Go and repent if you want to succeed and stop being political bias. You are the problem of Nigeria and i am sorry you dont about your self

        • Aminu

Remove that your name unless you are telling us it takes Anti Christ to identify Anti Christ.A Muslim can never be a complete Muslim without love and respect for prophet ISA peace be upon him.

      • SMK

If he el-rufai can bring the kind of “destruction” he brought in Abuja that is making people troop in and stay then i say that is exactly the kind of ‘Destruction’ we would vote el-rufai to do for the people of Kaduna

  • Ette

Quality and merit can be seen. Cannot get better, and 2015 will bring better days ahead.

  • Peter

It is now that the short man will face real political test of his life. He rode on the back of PDP government of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to score his so called Abuja feat when he was Minister of the Federal Territory. The government backed his actions and turned deaf ears and blind eyes to the many cases of abuse of office committed by Nassir El-Rufai. Talk of corruption and one of those that oiled it is El-Rufai. That he is wealthy today is because of his unquestioned conversion of choice lands in Abuja to himself, his family members and cronies. It is an irony that he is now an anti-corruption crusader.

  • Al Hassan

This is no victory. My last son too would win that election with the 5 billion Naira El Rufai received
under the table from Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (now Emir of Kano) for a bogus man-know-man contract
to design a hotel (of all things!) for the Central Bank of Nigeria. El Rufai can win whatever he likes,
as far as i am concerned he has a case to answer at the EFCC for this financial crime of 5 billion Naira.
