Fayose appoints SSG, Adviser on Stomach Infrastructure, as workers suspend strike

Governor Ayodele Fayose

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has appointed Modupe Alade as the Secretary to the State Government.

The governor also appointed Sunday Omosilade as his Special Assistant on Special Duties and Stomach Infrastructure, while Idowu Adelusi will serve as his Chief Press Secretary.

The appointments, which were made public in a statement in Akure on Thursday, came as civil servants in the state called off their two months strike as a mark of honour to the governor.

While Ms. Alade was a former Permanent Secretary in the state, Mr. Adelusi, a former editor with the Tribune Newspaper, was Mr. Fayose’s spokesman during his first term in office between 2003 and 2006.

The appointments came some hours after Mr. Fayose took the oath of office in Ado-Ekiti.

The statement issued by Mr. Adelusi also named other appointees as Owoseni Ajayi, Special Assistant on Legal Matters, Kayode Oso, Special Assistant on Works and Infrastructure; Sola Owoeye, Special Assistant on Protocol and Sola Olowookere, Personal Assistant to the Governor (Abuja).

Others are Sunday Anifowose, Special Assistant on Special Duties and Stomach Infrastructure; Sunday Omosilade, Special Assistant on Domestic Matters and Lere Olayinka, Special Assistant on Information and Social Media.

The statement said all appointments were with immediate effect. (NAN)

  • Enemona

SSA on “Stomach Infrastructure”? Is this real? Is that even a serious phrase? This guy is a clown. Ekiti people, here you have it – you asked for it, here you go.

    • Mpitikwelu_na_Ugwu_Awusa

Fayose crushed your preferred candidate in all the Local government councils in Ekiti state. Respect Ekiti people and move on. The sun does not shine from your ass.

      • Troublesome

Mr Ugwu Awusa abi na Ugwu Igbo, agreed he crushed our preferred candidate, why did he disrupt court sitting hearing petitions on his victory? He should have allowed court to judge the cases before it before his swearing in. Why didnt Ogbeni of Osun beat judges hearing petitions against his victory? Anyways, he has already reared their chicken and their rice is on the way. Awon olounje iya. Na food go kill people of Ekiti. Stomach infrastructure my foot!

  • MushinSpeaks

Let Fayose continue to deceive the people of Ekiti.

Time will tell if he meant well for his people.

    • tsunami1earthquake

You have already judged Fayose as deceiving the Ekiti people; so why the apparent contradiction in saying time will tell if he meant well?

You guys are funny, being blonded by partisan politics, and for what? what is the benefit of your partisanship to the por mases, fayemi, his god father and APC borrowed 68 billion and ate the money leaving the state in debt, with workers and pensioners owed months, wher are the new roads, the standard hospitals and free med care, the atandard schools and free education, the skills aquisitions centres and employment etc, then state will take 20 years to pay back a loan that has nothing to show for it and u are busy being partisan and talking trash when fayemi, tinubu and APC are spending their stolen loot, you guys make me sick.
