Now that the Vandals in governance have succeded in turning the Nigerian Enclave into a human abbattouer(from soaking the Dogs and Baboons with blood, Boko-Haram, Fulani Herdsmen militia, to state sponsored extra-judicial killingsand abduction of dead bodies), would it wonder anybody that the citizens get used to news of fellow innocent Humans being killed as just normal.

    Vandals in governance.

Boko-Haram still have the initiative to carry out offensive attacks at will. They attack military bases and patrols as well as civilian targets with devastating results and high fatality rates. The lies of the Buhari regime no longer influence the opinion of any sensible Nigerian, the insurgency is far from being defeated, in fact the Sambisa forest is still being held by the group yet all the propaganda we get states that no piece of territory is held by Boko-Haram .

THE GOVÉRNMENT OUGHT TO CHANGE THE ARMY LEADERSHIP SINCE THEY ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, THIS IS ASSYMETRIC WARFARE, IT DEMANDS A HIGH DEGREE OF INTELLIGENCE AND NOT JUST BRUTE FORCE. BUTATAI CANNOT GIVE WHAT HE CLEARLY DOES NOT HAVE. ALL WE HEAR OF IS MASS PROMOTION OF OF NORTHERN OFFICERS TO RANKS OF GENERAL YET THEY CANNOT TAKE SAMBISA FOREST AND BUILD A BIG BARRACKS THERE.

  • Really

And all these are happening as the Buhari and Buratai Army that was supposed to stop them, are busy promoting themselves to Generals upon Generals.

Road block Generals that are most competent in chasing Trucks according to them.

    What an Irony?

    What a country!
Dealing with terrorism from boko haram in the north,
dealing with federal government sponsored terrorism in the South East,
dealing with terrorism from Nigeria Police and armed robbers in the entire country.
Dealing with a very weak, corrupt and tribalisitc federal government and state governments too).
End result: High death toll, broken families and homes; dehumanized, desensitized and demoralized citizens; loss of complete trust in government; and citizens taking laws into their hands = failed society.

“dealing with federal government sponsored terrorism in the South East”
The army are the terrorists in this case.

The time has come for Nigerians to stand up and ask the right questions. Why have the attacks increased in the build up to 2019 elections? Why did the attacks subside immediately Buhari came to power? I believe it is now visible to the blind and certainly audible to the deaf that there is much more to Boko haram than just Islamic radicalism. Without mincing words, their MO is irrefutably exhibits obvious political connotations. In very direct terms, Boko haram is simply the politics of the North to exert influence and relevance not just in the eyes of Nigerians but to the outside world – to let the world know that Nigeria must be one otherwise a separation will lead to the creation of another Afghanistan (Northern Nigeria). But the silence of the political class in South, East and West and failure to place culpability where culpability belongs in speaking truth about Boko haram and terrorism as 100% politics of the North is the bane of the nation called Nigeria today. The question is, how long can we continue to evade the truth and pretend that all is well? 50 dead? And no presidential statement yet. No detailed identity of those who carried out the attacks, except to just call them “suicide bombers”. Is there any other nation on planet earth where terrorists and suicide bombers are never named? Nigeria is sick!

    • IBRAHIM DAUDA

      This is Christian BOKO HARAM.

      • Remi

        When
Boko Haram (BH) was busy blowing up Churches and Christian’s, people like you
said that it was Christians blowing up their own Churches and co-religionists.
Now that there are no Churches and Christians to blow up anymore (note that
13000 Churches alone have so far been destroyed in the north east) and BH have
now turned on their complicit co-religionists, you are again accusing the
Christians! Very soon you will be accusing the Hindus and Sikhs. Just anyone
but the true perpetrators of this dastardly acts, fellow Muslims!

  • Remi

May the souls of the innocents, whose lives were brutally & senselessly cut short in this attack rest in peace.

However, it is pertinent to mention some hard & uncomfortable
truths about the origins and development of this unfortunate insurgency, to
    wit, that:

    In a secular & multi-religious society as
Nigeria, religion is best kept as a personal affair between citizens & their Gods. The
moment we bring religion into the public space, as was done through the illegal introduction of Sharia in
several Northern States, we will never
find a universally acceptable version of religious practice. Hence, we will be left with an endless series
of violently contending “correct versions of
practice”, as we today experience & will continue to experience.

An insurgency can only thrive with active &
passive cooperation from among the locals.
At it’s nascent stage, those locals (leadership & followership ) who
were best placed to act to nip it in the bud, did nothing,
in the believe that it was only non-Muslims, Government and security agencies that were it’s targets. Some of them were even making unsolicited
excuses for the insurgents. Today, after having killed all the “others”, the
chickens have, sadly, come home to
    roost.

    And the lessons:

When through our (in)actions we aid & abet
others to destroy those we do not like, we inadvertently & ultimately end
    up destroying ourselves.

If Nigeria fails to tame & control religion,
religion will end up killing her.
