The Federal Government has set up a constitutional and electoral reforms committee.

“The Committee is expected to Review Electoral environment, laws and experiences from recent elections conducted in Nigeria and make Recommendations to strengthen and achieve the conduct of free and fair elections in Nigeria,” Attorney General, Abubakar Malami, said in a statement Sunday.

The committee will be chaired by a former Senate President, Ken Nnamani. Mamman Lawal, a lecturer at Bayero University, Kano, will serve as the secretary.

‎Other members include Clement Nwankwo, Muiz Banire, and A.C Ude.

“The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, will on Tuesday October 4, 2016 inaugurate a Committee on Constitutional and Electoral Reform at the HAGF’s Conference Room, Abuja by 11am,” said the statement signed by Mr. Malami’s special adviser, Salihu Isah.

“Members of the Committee are expected to take note and turn up for the inauguration,” the statement said.

    2 things:

1). Now we know why Fulani herdsmen killed many people in Enugu, and the military massacred igbos in the east and we did not hear this mans (nnamani) voice much! Shameless Igbo politicians. We will follow Kanu till the end.

2). This could be part of the reason John Kerry came to Nigeria, to tell the north to do something before Nigeria gets our of hand. The answer to the north should be simple: restructure or let us all say goodbye Nigeria.

    • haba mallam

you surely are a loser, you mess with the best and die like the rest, take cue from Ojukwu who surrendered.

      • nixon

He did not surrender, the record shows. Am not sure what your concern is, this is the same man that got into the same motorcade as IBB claiming that he is the best for Nigeria. U can call me whatever you want, the record still shows that nnamani didn’t little since the igbo massacre. He is the loser, not me.

        • Julius

No, the born coward ran away in the middle of the night, left you all to your lives of misery. Smdh !

    • Julius

This is what comes from a delusional minds. Kerry came to Nigeria to TELL the North or Nigerians what to do ? You losers thinks the same. Why hasnt the UN gave you instructions on how to get out of Nigeria ?

      • nixon

Me delusional? If you really think that the recommendations from nnamani will be implemented and followed by the APC, then I have a bridge to sell you on the moon. Or if you think these politicians are actually working for the common man in Nigeria then you must quickly check yourself in for psychiatric evaluation because you be big mumu. You are the dumb one, hopefully I proved it to you dumb tribalistic electorate

        • Mufu Ola

You people have the brain of an ant? So what’s wrong with Nnamani taking up an appointment with FG? It’s so difficult reasoning with duds?

          • nixon

What’s wrong is that it is the same recycled people coming back to rule us. Can’t you people see? You of all people should know better. This is same person that got into a motorcade with IBB (who truncated democracy in Nigeria and prevented universities from opening for almost 1 yr), and told us IBB is the best person to rule Nigeria. Can’t u see? Why are we the youths of Nigeria so blind to the past because of tribalism? I am ibo and think we should get rid of these old people, and you are here calling me names… When will you learn?

  • Jaspa Matanga

Yes, that is the type of monkey appointments Igbo boot-lickers get. Futile efforts for the waste paper bins.

  • Daniel

Another room to share the national cake.

What happened the Uwais Panel report?

Truly, Buhari has no plan to move this country forward

  • Julius

Why would a biafraudian accept to serve a Nigerian government ? Bunch of hypocrites !!

    • nixon

It’s because of people like you that’s why our youths are so divided we cannot take our country back. Everything you look through a tribalistic glass. Olodo!

      • Julius

Really ? You are telling me thats why he accepted to serve in the government when yall ranting about you are all a biafraudians ?

      • Mufu Ola

The “real” youths or the yahoo ones?

  • George

Slave boy gladly accepted the position. shameless namani

    • Mufu Ola

People like u never grow up.You get stuck in a spot & the world move past you.

  • UOU

Job for the boys, that’s why he quickly resigned from pdp so he can benefit from apc just like all others, birds of the same feathers, frolicking and flocking together
