Africa U-23 Championship Final: Nigeria Vs Algeria – LIVE UPDATES

Nigeria U23 team:

All is now set for the final match of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations as Head Coach of the Dream Team VI, Samson Siasia, has made some changes to his team.

Dream Team VI skipper, Azubuike Okechukwu, has returned to the starting line-up for Nigeria for the final match against Algeria.

The combative midfielder was missing in action in the last encounter against Senegal due to cards suspension.

Surprisingly also, Golden Eaglets striker, Victor Osimhen, has been handed a starting role, following his impressive performance in his last outing.

The Siasia-led team will be aiming to become the first Nigerian side to win the championship when they square up against Algeria at the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium, Dakar.

The match will get underway at 8pm Nigerian time.
