President Muhammadu Buhari has finally submitted a list of his ministerial nominees to the Senate, Bukola Saraki, the senate president, confirmed late Wednesday.
The list came hours after the Senate adjourned for the day, fueling concerns the president may default on the September deadline he imposed on himself.
The list was presented by Ita Enang, Mr. Buhari’s adviser on Senate.
“I can now confirm that I just received #Thelist of Ministerial nominees,” Mr. Saraki tweeted.
“Presentation of list of Ministerial Nominees by Chief of Staff to President @MBuhari and SA on NASS ( @NGRSenate ),” he added, alongside photos of the presentation.
