How “unholy acts’ by Igbo PDP leaders robbed South East of Senate President, House Speaker slots – APC leaders

President Muhammadu Buhari during the Campaign prior to the 2015 Presidential election

The governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, on Thursday lamented the “unholy act” exhibited by political leaders in the South East zone during the National Assembly elections, saying it has now robbed the zone of the opportunity to produce either Senate President or the Speaker of the House of Representatives in June.

All Senatorial and House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress lost their elections in the elections held March 28.

The 15 senatorial districts in the five states, namely Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo were picked by the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party.

With the victory of Muhammadu Buhari from the North and his deputy, Yemi Osinbajo, from the South West, the Senate President or Speaker of the House slots would have ordinarily gone to the South East but for the outcome of the elections.

Speaking in Owerri, the Imo State capital at a rally organised by the South East APC to celebrate Mr. Buhari’s victory, Mr. Okorocha said the zone should have elected a ranking senator or member of the House of the Representatives on the platform of the party to occupy either of the positions if PDP leaders from the zone had not engineered the rigging of the National Assembly election held the same day with that of the presidency.

He specifically noted that a serving senator and former governor of Anambra State, Chris Ngige or a former senator, Osita Izunaso, both of whom contested the election, would have been elected Senate President if they were not rigged out at the election.

He said, “The South East is entitled to either the Senate President or the Speaker of the Federal House. But as I speak to you now because of the unholy act of last Saturday they (Igbo leaders) have not been able to give us any ranking member of the Senate or ranking member of the Federal House.

“You cannot be a Senate President, you cannot be a Speaker unless you are somebody who has been there before. It is our plan that Osita Izunaso should go to the Senate, Ngige should go to Senate.

“Gentlemen, the truth is that one of them should have been Senate President of Nigeria. But our people, in their myopic thinking, in the smallness of their brain could not see the light and today this act of theirs has denied Ndigbo the Senate President, this act has denied Ndigbo the Speaker of the Federal House. I weep, I weep that this kind of thing can be allowed to happen here.”

Mr. Okorocha, who is a member of the APC, said political leaders in the North do not play the kind of politics being exhibited by South East leaders.

“This kind of thing could not happen in Kano, it could not happen in Sokoto,” he said.

“But here in Igbo land they use soldiers to kill their people. It is our political leaders who sponsored this unholy act and we shall hold them responsible for every blood dropped during this election.

“We know them and they know we know them. They can be having their children abroad and be killing the poor people here. We will resist it and we will say no. “

The governor alleged that the Igbo leaders that perpetrated the rigging plans wanted to allocate 1.3 million votes to Mr. Jonathan in Imo State “but for our resistance they could not do it”.

He stressed, “It is not true that anyone defeated Buhari in Imo State. He won this election in this state. The nonsense is over. We have the details of all that happened in INEC headquarters. It will be embarrassing if we show all that happened to the world.”

Speaking earlier, Mr. Ngige recounted how he was rigged out of the election in which he lost to a serving member of the House of Representatives, Uche Ekwunife, of the PDP.

He explained that one of his agents was kidnapped during the election and that the collation officers were not spared the ordeal.

He said although he lost the senatorial election, the emergence of Mr. Buhari as president-elect was a joy to him.

According to the former governor, “The only thing I want to assure you people is that you have lost nothing. General Buhari has won the election. APC will form the next national government. We are going to recover all these seats, all the allocation they gave to us. All the allocations they gave to us, they allocated to me 20 votes from Anambra Central and Buhari 17, 960 votes, for the whole of Anambra. Is it possible?

Mr. Izunaso, who is the national organising secretary of the APC, vowed to reclaim the mandate given to him by the people of Orlu Senatorial District but stolen by election riggers.

“We are not unmindful of that fact that what we produced in the South East was not a reflection of the votes of the people,” he said.

“I assure you that it is not going to take long before all those things will be corrected. Anambra results were rigged. For a man like Ngige to come third on the ladder, is this the correct result?

“In Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu, results were rigged, Imo results were rigged. But I can assure you that is the end. As for my people in Orlu Senatorial Zone who voted for me the victory that you gave me on Saturday must remain our victory.

“I am not going to let any criminal to go away with the mandate you gave to me freely. Out of 12 LGAs in Orlu Zone I won in 12 LGAs and there were no elections in three zones.”

I agree Okorocha, Igbo should learn the basic principles that “you do not put all your eggs in one basket”

    • Uju

Igbos are hardworking people and can live without government. Senate Presidency is not their problem. Ndigbo have had five former Senate Presidents what difference did it make?

      • FirecloudOFGOD

Whether hardworking or indolent, democracy system demands that interest groups be represented one way or the other. In the case of our type and manner of practice, the slant or aberration is found in the nauseatingly high stipend these law makers, more like ‘breakers’, append to themselves and the offices, so that there is a rat race to have these “trophies” shared out regionally. I agree the ordinary man has no benefit any way you look at things.

  • Moe

    Sir,
I will advice you to wait until Buhari is sworn into office. Then you should compile your evidence and head on straight to court!
If things happened as you have alleged, the power of truth is with you……and it is about time we, the people, start making examples of the detrimental elements among us.

APC need calm their nerves and this’ not the time to overheat the political atmosphere with balderdash.APC should be courteous and not exacerbate things as they are about forming the central government.Maturity, Rule of Law and decorum are needed and not the normal motormouthed manner of their former selves.

    • Dan maikoko

Overheat what? We are saying that Ibos can have any positions according to the constitution and you are blaming APC. What has APC got to do with no ranking member of the upper or lower house was returned elected from the SE.

The Convener of the Coalition of Northern Politicians, Academics, Professionals and Businessmen, and delegate representing Kano state at the just concluded National Conference, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, has spoken out about his hatred for people from Nigeria’s South East, a region populated by Igbos.

Dr Mohammed who was speaking recently with newsmen about issues in the country could not help but make it clear that he believes the Igbos constitute a problem in the country and he challenged anyone who disagrees with him to “go to hell”

Answering questions on his recent arrest by the Department of State Security after some allegedly inciting comments from him, Mohammed said he was arrested because the Director of Operations of the DSS was an Igbo man.”

The order for my arrest came directly from the Director of Operations, an Igbo man. Apparently, he does not like anyone who says anything uncomplimentary about Igbo people and their greed. I think he was particularly very unhappy because I said Igbo have taken charge of the economy and that they have also grabbed most of the land especially for estates in Abuja where they don’t have any historical claims or any other logical claim to even one square foot of land,” he said.

    • burning spear

Speaking further, Junaid Mohammed described the Igbos as a shameless ethnic group with “greed, selfishness and contempt for other ethnic groups”

“If saying about 42 per cent of the key positions in the economic sector of Nigeria is dominated by Igbo, if that is what they call tribalism, then I stand by that tribalistic statement because these are verifiable facts and whenever I made that statement, I mentioned names and positions and institutions.

“For example, I said the most powerful person in this country is the Minister of Finance who is in fact, the de facto Prime Minister. What it means is that she is the de facto head of government. For a person who was not elected and the legitimacy of the government that appointed her still in doubt, anybody who thinks saying this is being tribalistic, so be it. They can burn to ashes and go to hell.

“Two, I said the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria is also an Igbo person, next I said the DG, Nigerian Economic Summit Group is an Igbo man, the DG, Sovereign Wealth Fund, is also an Igbo person, the DG, Securities and Exchange Commission is also an Igbo person, the DG, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria is also an Igbo person, other ministries which are very critical to the running of the economy like aviation, are also in the hands of Igbo people. So, what are we talking about?

“Igbo remains one ethnic group in Nigeria that is so devoid of any shame to show their greed, selfishness and contempt for other ethnic groups. I said and I will still say that the first time Igbo officers staged a coup and assassinated wholesale the political leaders of most other ethnic groups was when we had General Aguiyi Ironsi as the Supreme Commander of the Nigerian Armed Forces. He was involved in the coup where the entire political leadership, the military and economic leadership of other regions especially the North was decapitated under him and he was from Umuahia.

Obasanjo Presents Soludo As Finance Minister, Tinubu Kicks

“……Available information indicates that the former Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN] Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo may have been presented by the former president of Nigeria, General Olusegun Obasanjo as the possible Minister of Finance for the Buhari administration. Prof. Soludo had served as a member of the economic team for the Obasanjo administration prior to becoming the governor of the CBN.

……Already, Tinubu, according to a highly placed source, had reached an agreement with General Mohammadu Buhari prior to the APC presidential primaries – concerning the appointment of ministerial positions. The source reveal that Tinubu extracted an agreement from Buhari – which Buhari appended his signature on as preconditions to his participation in the APC primaries – of appointing nine [9] ministerial positions to the Buhari administration. The nine ministration slots are said to be the nine ‘juiciest’ ministerial slots – including that of Petroleum, Finance, Works, FCT, Interior. It is to this end that the Tinubu camp frowns at the presentation of Soludo as a finance minister – to occupy one of the supposed slots reserved for Tinubu…..” Source -247nigerianewsupdate

“A coalition of socio-political groups in the South-East has asked President Goodluck Jonathan to fulfill the promises he made to the Igbo or risk losing their support in the forthcoming presidential election.

The coalition, which made the demand after a meeting in Enugu, said the President had not shown adequate appreciation for the massive votes he received in the South-East in 2011.

The associations that formed the coalition are Igbo Traders Congress, Igbo Women Assembly, Umuada Ala Igbo, Igbo Students Association, Igbo Youth Movement, South-East Self Determination Coalition and Eastern Christian Council.

The National President of the Igbo Women Assembly and a member of Igbo Leaders of Thought, Mrs. Maria Okwor, noted that the Igbo were not happy with the way they were being treated by the Federal Government.

According to her, the Igbo had not been rewarded for the bloc of votes given to Jonathan in 2011.”

        burning spear,

I just wanted to use evidence to show that you are troubled and that you don’t know what you are saying.

  • Okey

These hungry, angry and desperately office-seeking so-Igbo leaders should be honest to themselves to say that they are desperately seeking to save or protect themselves for April 11. They should face their ambition and mission with the sincerity it deserves. They should be mindful not to make the mistake of interpreting Igbos as fools, otherwise Ndigbo will visit their anger on them come April 11.

All along, these self-seeking Igbos had always praised the Yoruba for remain steadfast to the ideal of one-united-entity for not only political relevance but bargaining. The Yoruba built that pedigree and out of it came a beatiful bride that must be reckoned with by anybody or block seeking anything today in Nigeria. But today, desperately office seeking elements among the Igbo are poo-pooing the very strategy that gave their compatriots a stronger bargaining power; a strategy they have always envied of and commended the Yoruba for. They will rather have an Igbo nation with disparate, unindentifiable stand and mission that will serve only the interest of the few.

What is wrong with having the entire Igbo only in APGA ? Or will any PDP candidate in 2019 dismiss the Igbo race with a wave of the hand ? Must we only be concerned (aptly, condemned) to being Speaker or Senate President now, 2019 and forever ? Is there any place in the Nigerian Constitution that says the Office of the Senate President or Speaker of the House of Representatives must come from the party in majority ? Hasn’t there been in this country a Speaker of the House of Representatives who emerged from a minority party ? Or, will revenue allocation to Igbo land cease because they are not APC ? Or, worse case scenario, will their properties all over Nigeria be now declared “Abandoned” on account of their election decision-making “crime” ?

My surmise is, the joke is on them – Buhari and APC. If Gen. Buhari who says he is coming to better the wrongs of Jonathan will start that by excluding Ndigbo, so be it. The Yoruba has been on that path before, they did not self-condemn or self-reject or self-destruct themselves. A positive aspect of it all is that, exclusion at the centre may engender positive behaviour at home. It will, willy-nilly, force Igbo Governors to be judicious and accountable in their management and husbandry of received allocations to their state, which allocations I know will not be denied them because they are not in APC. For I am one those who believe strongly that corruption pervades more at the states level than at the centre; that there is not check-and-balance at the states level because honestly and seriously speaking, there are no state legislatures in Nigeria; that in the result, the unemployment and hunger which is the bye-product of mindless corruption in the states are deftly blame on the Federal Government. If therefore, the Igbo Governors will be just a little honest in the management of resources, Gen. Buhari and APC can take their Senate President and Speaker to wherever will comfort their souls, Ndigbo will not will not die.

The average Igbo man decided for himself on the day of election bearing in mind that he has never seen the way to and fro Igbonalnd – be it Lagos to Onitsha or Abuja to Enugu – bether than under Jonathan, and rightly considered it an act of wickedness to turn their back against such a man. If anyone today does to them similarly as Jonathan did, I bet they will follow such a person. Okorocha and co. are seeking to save themselves on April 11 by precipitating a bandwagon effect. By their town-hall gathering in Owerri the other day and excessive effusions on “Senate President this” and “speaker that,” they are on mission to safeguard their interest and NEVER to demonstrate their love for Ndigbo. They do not love Ndigbo more than Ndigbo love themselves.

    • Guguru

      okey,

I see you are infested with the typical victim mentality which most Igbos tend to have. You speak as if someone owes you a thing. Have you ever asked why Igbos are politically indolent? They can hardly reason their way through political mine fields. This is why they depend on brute force and election rigging to win elections. The first thing all igbo should do is look themselves in the mirror. For example, the Ijaws who control Port Harcourt seized the property of igbo people during the civil war. They are the only group in Nigeria refusing to return the property of igbo people in the whole of Nigeria. Even the Hausas, Fulani, and Yorubas returned the property of Igbo people after the war. So, why did the igbo people not demand that their property be returned first before they can support an Ijaw man as a presidential candidate?

Something is terribly wrong with the way the igbos in current Nigeria see themselves and/or reason. They need some sort of political salvation from the lies they tell themselves.

      • Okey

It is the mental baggage of “nothing good can come Igbo” you carry that made you misread my point. I only told my people not to self-destruct because, “they didn’t lay their eggs in different baskets,” our other compatriots would today have used to refer to them as “gamblers.” If your funeral is that I refused to live in regret and advised my people also not to, that’s your funeral, not mine.

        • Guguru

You are still clinging to the victim mentality. i asked you a simple question and you are here bitinig your tongue: “So, why did the igbo people not demand that their property be returned
first before they can support an Ijaw man as a presidential candidate?”

          • Okey

That’s why you may not grow beyond being a small boy. No Ijaw man or woman seized Igbo property. The Federal Government of the time made a Proclamation and law that severed Igbo properties from Igbo ownership and turn over the properties to the Minorities of present day South South. The Federal Government specifically called their act as “Abandoned Properties;” that’s Government of Nigeria. It remained so until over a decade when the Supreme Court of Nigeria pronounced “A Nigerian cannot be said to have abandoned his/her property in Nigeria. The wise old men of the Supreme Court agonized over that Proclamation for over a decade before coming out boldly to pronounce against it.

But the purpose of the then Federal Government’s action – create permanent enmity between Ndigbo and their brothers and sisters in the South South – was not difficult to be apprehended by Ndigbo. That’s why Ndigbo have take that matter bedind them and moved ahead. In any event, Jonathan’s father was a terribly poor man in the creek, who neither benefited nor had a say in the matter. How then could a fair and just man or woman visit the sins of “Abandoned Property” on his son, Goodluck Jonathan ?

Please, election was won and lost on media, especially, internet propaganda. Read hard materials and widely too.

          • Guguru

            Okey,

Thank for the long grammar. So, how many Igbo people had their properties returned? Did they need long grammar to return Igbo persons properties in the north and in the south-west? Keep living in your fantasies, little thing.

        burning Spear,

“The truth” just condemned you in his comment above, Oloshi !

      • Kay Soyemi (Esq.)

        Pure bunkum!

You allowed the PDP to shaft APGA in your own territory because you failed to learn fully and truly from the Yoruba.

When OBJ wiped out the AD through electoral subterfuge, the Yoruba kept the kernel of the corn that became the mighty oak of APC today – LASG. The Ndigbo should have kept their heartland secure so as to have a fallback upon like BAT of those years and today.

This is what the talk of not putting all your eggs in one basket is about.

My advice to the Ndigbo is to jettison the PDP and let it die for the rotten fruit it is. The next elections should be used to re-establish the APGA platform. It is not necessary for the Ndigbo to join APC to be relevant, but sticking with PDP is closing all their options and being stuck with a rotten carcass of a diseased party.

        Word for the wise.

        • aisha ani

They can still regroup in time for 2019 elections.

  • Umar Dendi

Burning Spear and his friends have risen from their long hibernation of grief.
Pls ignore them, for right now they do not know what they are doing.
People say all sorts of crazy stuff when they are angry, and considering their mental state to begin with……well, crazy will be an under statement.

Hahahahahah ….. i hope Ngige, Okorocha and Amaechi are listening. That is typical Hausa/Fulani mentality. When people are working hard and struggling to achieve something they will be idling about, fiddling with their penises looking for female children to abuse sexually. But when the fruits of hard work appear they generate violence to steal and loot. Buhari won the APC primaries through the support of Tinubu and Amaechi. The Hausa/Fulani people supported Kwankwaso and Atiku. Without Tinubu, Buhari would not be President today.Without Amaechi, Buhari would not have participated in the APC primaries. Where was Junaid Mohammed when Buhari was in political wilderness. What did he do to help him out. Now that he is President his reneged brothers are pounding their empty chests and spoiling for war. The Igbos are very hard working. All they have were obtained through their sweats. The Igbos do not look down on other tribes. We know who is better and who is worse than us in different aspects of life. We all know that the Yorubas are more sophisticated and the Fulanis more aristocratic than us. But in hard work and perseverance that squeezes water out of rock, no tribe can equal us. Nigeria would be a very prosperous country if the Igbos are allowed to live their lives in peace considering the fact that they are excluded from Federal Government patronages. No tribe in Nigeria that has been slaughtered, deprived and emasculated like the Igbos can rebound like us.

    • Guguru

      Jaspa,

Thanks for the lies. You stated, ” The Igbos do not look down on other tribes.” This is exactly what is psychologically wrong with the warped mind of the Igbo person—-lack of humility and a desire to learn from others. Thanks again for the lies.

    • Maitama Tambari

Hausa Fulani won the Presidential election with help of Yorubas and the Grace of Almighty God. I therefore pity Ndigbos because even the second fiddle they refused in 2011 when the North wanted to rescue ROTATION of Presidency, which President JONATHAN denied knowledge, Ndigbos greediness overcame them as happen in 2015. What a pity. Abuses will not change reality on ground.

      • Guguru

        Maitama,

        Thank you for those truths.

I have noticed some commentators in this forum and i must condemn Burning Spear for his doggedness and undiluted stance for equity, justice and fairness. I call on all commentators to wash themselves of bias, lies and propaganda to always stand for the truth. Coming from a neutral standpoint i see APC complainingand blaming PDP for the next four years. They would not perform and blame it all on the previous government. We are waiting for $1 to 1 naira

Yet, the silly Igbos voted Jonathan en masse

“An Igbo socio-cultural group, Ndigbo Unity Forum, has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of failing in his
promises to the people of the South-East.

In a communiqué issued after an emergency meeting in Awka, Anambra State, on Wednesday, the NUF said it was
passing a vote of no confidence on the President, having become satisfied that he did not have the interest of the Igbo at heart.

The communiqué was signed by the NUF’s President, Mr. Augustine Chukwudum, and the Secretary General, Mr. Chinedu Onyebuchi.

It read, “We unanimously agreed that having failed to fulfil most of his electoral promises to South-East region when compared to other geo-political regions in the country, that it is now obvious that President Jonathan-led government does not appreciate the support he got from the South-East.

“During his campaign in Enugu on Friday, January 9, 2015 President Jonathan told the people of South-East that he
has rehabilitated 2,000 kilometres of roads in South-East within the
    past four years.

“Ndigbo Unity Forum wishes to let our people know that Mr. President lied. We hereby call on Mr. President to tell us in any part of South-East where he has rehabilitated just 70 kilometres of road.

“He promised to upgrade Enugu Airport to international standard within 18 months in office if he is re-elected for second term come Feb. 14, 2015. This is another plot to hoodwink Ndigbo so that we continue to be political slaves.

“The Onitsha seaport commissioned on August 30, 2012 amidst fanfare by President Jonathan is three years now
we are yet to see canoe not to talk of big ship there. The much touted 2nd Niger Bridge, which they say construction work has started, will operate under a public-private partnership where even Igbo children yet unborn will have to pay tolls unlike their fellow Nigerians from other parts of the country that enjoy various bridges free of charge. Who is fooling who?”

Nigerian Punch, January 2015, “‘Jonathan has failed South-East’”

    • Nkuu

In 2011, BUHARI PROMISED TO HAND OVER TO IGBOS IF THEY VOTED FOR HIM. BUT IGBOS VOTED FOR JONATHAN.

IF IGBOS KNEW BEFORE 2015 ELECTIONS THAT BUHARI WOULD WIN, THEY WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR JONATHAN ANYWAY.

IGBOS ARE NOT ALMAJIRIS WHO NEED GOVT. TO SURVIVE LIKE YORUBAS & AWUSA-FULANI-KANURI. IGBOS DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESIDENT NECESSARILY TO SHOW THEIR CAPABILITIES.

AN IGBO WILL BECOME THE PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA IN 2019 or 2023 IF NIGERIA STILL EXISTS BY THEN. IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE SO SHALL IT BE.

      • aisha ani

        Not going to happen.

        • Nkuu

DREAMZ, DREAMZ, DREAMZ…ALREADY HAPPENED OR WE SHALL HAVE A REASON TO CHASE THE OLD MAN AWAY. EVEN YOU WILL NEED UN AIDS TO SURVIVE.

          • aisha ani

After Jonathan, it will be a cold day in hell!

          • Nkuu

Well you must be posting from Sambisa or Soka forest. I thought they had liberated the place. Do not worry, soon, it will be cold day over there. Almajiris are parasites!!!

      • Guguru

        Nkuu,

I see you are now performing volunteer services as an e-rat, right?

        • Intrepid

One becomes an e- rat when he or she puts a divergent view to your parochial and silly ones? See how bigoted your soul is, by calling a whole tribe silly for voting a candidate of their choice? I told you ,stop being like the kettle calling the pot black, or vice versa.

The North west have been voting, even more than the Igbos, in a similar tribal and religious lines, even when buhari failed on three previous outings, yet no one hounded them as being silly.

You are just being possessed by the same demon, blind folding most of you hausa- foolani, of being Nigeria’s lords of the manor, as far as Nigeria’s power equation is concern.

          • Guguru

            SHUT UP

          • Intrepid

Shut mother f*cker up!!! You MOHAMMEDAN SUICIDE BOMBER!!!

          • Guguru

            Intrepid,

When did you escape your asylum today? Are you aware the nurses are searching very hard for you? We actually found a piece of paper with sentences in your hand writing. The sentence says Intrepid is a goat that wants to eat pounded yam

          • Intrepid

No, I was lost in perusing those mohammedan satanic verses, until I found out there were demonic scripts that leads to suicide bombings. Now you found me for another show down HURAH!!

          • Guguru

You have really really degenerated. I have called your parents to discuss how we can further help you become integrated with rest of rational humanity.

          • Intrepid

You mean degenerated from a mohammedan phychosis? Please help me!!!

          • Guguru

I don’t know what you mean. We are trying to understand what you mean since you escaped from the asylum.

          • Intrepid

How can you understand me with your little madrasa knowledge.

          • Guguru

That is the point: The rest of humanity does not understand you. This is why we have ordered a straight jacket to aid in the effort of restraining you from causing more harm to yourself.

          • Intrepid

No it is only you the blind- folded, demon- possess mulah.

          • Guguru

How did you arrive at the conclusion that I was demon possessed?

          • Intrepid

            Because you are SILLY!!

          • Guguru

How do you know I am silly when you hear voices in your head? You admitted you hear voices in your head, did you not?

          • Intrepid

Yes I hear the voices coming out from a mohammedan quelle.

          • Guguru

I have no idea what you mean by your statement. But, the fact remains that you hear voices in your head when you should not.

          • Intrepid

Yes I hear voices, only when I am provoked by insults against my tribe.

          • Guguru

What is the linkage between one’s tribe and the voices they hear in their head? Let me ask you a question: Do you think planet earth is a planet or a comet?

          • Intrepid

No planet earth is not planet jedda either.

          • Guguru

You realize your incoherent ramblings are evidence of probable interference in your communication by the voices chanting such fables in your head, right?

          • Intrepid

No my being incoherent is a result of gravitating towards a primitive and demented mind like yours.

          • Guguru

Did the voices in your head or Aisha, your invisible girlfriend encourage you to gravitate towards what you consider primitive? So, how much control would you really say you have of yourself since those voices in your head or Aisha seem to have an upper hand in your mind—-10%, 20%, 30%, 60%, 80%, etc?

          • Intrepid

Calculate that simple arithmetic in your spongy brain.

          • Guguru

I am unable to make any calculations on behalf of patients who hear voices in their heads who happen to be enamored with an invisible girlfriend called Aisha. Helping you with a calculation would actually imply joining you in your mental problems.

          • Intrepid

I hope you are not trying to be real patient by bringing elementary calculations to Your master. I only solve CALCULUS, Mind you.

          • Guguru

You are hardly understood. Any mental patient who hears loud enough voices in their head, could make the same claim that they can solve calculus problems. I am surprised those voices in your head have not yet encouraged you to proclaim that you are King of the World.

          • Intrepid

There was a time Einstein was suspected of being insane. My little fellow.

          • Guguru

Really? You think of yourself as Einstein? Wow, so when are you going to suggest that you are Jesus Christ, if and when the voices in your head or Aisha your invisible girlfriend encourages you to say so?

          • Intrepid

She said I was mohammed, thats why she don’t want to let me go. Remember Jesus Christ is coming out from your mouth.

          • Guguru

Remember, Aisha is just an invisible girlfriend of yours. You cannot see through the internet and so how you saw words coming out of my mouth is nothing short of mysterious. You are very troubled. This is why i am here to help you.

          • Intrepid

You have to help yourself of the tribal demon that is possessing you thats why I am here too either to help you or destroy you and the demon together.

          • Guguru

You will soon be placed in chains if you continue to speak so violently. i was about to write you a prescription to include hanging out with normal humans. But your recent assertions suggests i should not. When do you plan to marry your invisible girlfriend, Aisha?

          • Intrepid

Remember aisha is not invisible you can find her on the street of mecca..

          • Guguru

Most patients would make the same crazy assertions as you. For example, i have heard patients say that they visit aliens on Pluto every night at 11 pm.

          • Intrepid

Crazy assertions? BTW which patients? patients who read the satanic verses?

          • Guguru

If you look in the mirror, the patient will be obvious to you.

          • Intrepid

I look into the mirror, and I saw the image of that past ruler from Katsina

          • Guguru

LOL. You hear voices, you have an invisible girlfriend, and now you see things as well?

          • Intrepid

Didn’t I tell you aisha is not invisible? you can search for her, prodding the street of mecca, masquerading, all black, like a satanic whore.

          • Guguru

I really do not know what to think anymore. Your hallucinations appear to be very intense.

          • Nkuu

            Lol…

          • Intrepid

How can someone with a demon – possessed spongy brain understand some one from a higher realm.

          • Guguru

All patients of mine who hear voices and associate with invisible friends like you do, always feel they are doing the work of a divine master, even though we restrain such patients with straight jackets. In your case, I think usiing chains to restrain you might be more effective.

          • Intrepid

Just like they did to that former ruler from Katsina?

          • Guguru

            Who is this ruler?

          • Intrepid

I give you the simple task to go to katsina. and ask them. You don’t even know the history of your rulers from katsina. Sorry for you.

          • Guguru

Are you the one speaking or are the voices in your head making these comments?

          • Intrepid

            BOTH!!

          • Guguru

            LOL.

          • Intrepid

Go back to school if you don’t know the meaning of rational, by calling whole tribe silly.

          • Guguru

Your parents will be in touch very soon, little thing. LOL.

          • Intrepid

malam guguru I have no parents. I want you to search for me. If you able to garner any power from your satanic verses, otherwise take the easier route by sniffing through the stinking thighs of aisha. LOL

          • Guguru

Since you have no parents how did you come into this world?

          • Intrepid

I came through the black satanic stone.

          • Guguru

Are those what the voices you hear in your head are telling you?

          • Intrepid

Yes the voices came via the black stone init?

          • Guguru

You actually admit that you hear voices in your head, in which we are correct about you mental state? We are certainly making progress in trying to help you as quickly as possible.

          • Intrepid

Bring only those precious t water that runs out from the stinking thighs of aisha, who knows it may provide the remedy

          • Guguru

Who is Aisha? Is she you invisible girlfriend? Your mind is in real trouble.

          • Intrepid

            Yes indeed, I need her!!

          • Guguru

You have been a very cooperative patient who probably wants to be a well functioning member of society. How long have you been hearing these voices in your head?

          • Intrepid

Since I started residing with aisha, I don’t know what she used to possessed me, probably those satanic lines.

          • Guguru

So, why have you chosen to remain with Aisha if you believe she possesses you?

          • Intrepid

Thats the point, once you decide to leave, you become a dead soul, because she belongs to a very violent and dangerous sect.

          • Guguru

Is this what Aisha your invisible friend told you to ramble on or are these the clear rants of the voices you hear in your head? How many voices do you routinely hear in your head everyday?

          • Intrepid

Multiple, because good spiritual voices wants to take over from that of demon- possessed aisha.

          • Guguru

So, you are able to make a distinction between the quality of voices you hear in your head? What criteria do you use to determine which voices are “good spiritual voices” and which one is a “demon-possessed” voice from Aisha?

          • Intrepid

Why not? The power of light from the real GOD

          • Guguru

The power of light, from which GOD? Can you describe what this light looks like? Tell me, if Aisha your invisible girlfriend or the crowd of voices in your head ask you to bark like a dog or run like a fox, would you oblige these voices?

          • Intrepid

You will not understand, I don’t want you to make this forum unsafe for reasonable folks, throwing your bombs here and there.

          • Guguru

No one can understand the ramblings of a mental patient struggling to make sense of the world around them. Did the voices tell you that bombs can go off on electronic platforms? Why do you allow these voices to have so much control over you? I asked you earlier: “how much control would you really say you have of yourself since those
voices in your head or Aisha your invisible girlfriend seem to have an upper hand in your
            mind—-10%, 20%, 30%, 60%, 80%, etc?”

          • Intrepid

Yes the mohammedan who said bok is haram have learnt a lot from the western wise folks. They can equally detonate it on line. Thats the dangerous world we are living in .

          • Guguru

Wow, these are all what the voices in your head have succeeded in etching into your mind? Who else knows that you hear voices in your head and that you have an invisible girlfriend called Aisha? How did you get to this point? Tell me, do you think a phoenix is a bird?

          • Intrepid

From the way you are emphasizing on hearing voices and mental health, I can see your education is just basic being in the health care.

          • Guguru

LOL. So, if i emphasize bread and akara the voices in your head would interpret this to mean i must work in the food industry, right? What if i emphasized grass and hay, would you consider me a bovine, as directed by your invisible girlfriend and the many voices wailing and chattering in your head?

          • Intrepid

Yes all along your knowledge has been one -sided. I’e limited to one area. I don’t know if you bought at gworo, guruguru or akara at jankara market.

          • Guguru

Your incoherence is now at a stupendous peak. Can you dial down the many voices communicating with you at this time? It is getting harder understanding a thing you are saying. I don’t want to place you in chains.

    S-H-O-C-K-I-N-G!!!
Jonathan Will Die Before hand Over. – APC.

After series of efforts to discredit and undermine the Goodluck Jonathan’s administrations by the Northern elders, Political leaders and APC, the Party are now wishing the President death before handover.
These same people resurrected BOKO HARAM of Mallam Yusuf to destabilize his government and kill him through terror attacks but they failed.
They tried to kill him by bombing his entourage when he went to campaign in some parts of North but GOD SAVED HIM.
They crated mole with their children in the army and security to leak the President attempted visits to Borno state to the leadership, but they failed as the rips were canceled.
They rig him out of office, even when they were aware that he was ahead in the real votes, so that if he rejects the result there will be war which may likely take him along with millions of Nigerians HE JUMPED AND PASSED.

Now, their prayer is that he die before handover over,Haba! What did this man GEJ do to the BORN TO RULE?
He has given power to those who claim to be the owners, yet THEY WANT HIS BLOOD!

GEJ will not die before or after handover in Jesus name. The last time I checked every prayer in the name of Jesus gets an answer and so shall the resurrection power work for his protection.
Please lets always remember President Jonathan in prayer and put these blood sucking APC to shame

    • aisha ani

Guess what, they are Jonathan’s employees so he should call them to order. Who cares anyway, Jonathan is yesterday’s news.

  • Uwadiegwu

Even with your senate presidency, speaker House of Reps, Speaker of United Nations Assembly, the South East rejects Alhajis Pathetic Congress. To hell with APC and its Senate presidency. We have not asked for it and will not miss your House of Reps speakership. Just shut up.

we have had 6 nyamiri senate presidents before…did it bring them an international airport?

      • Nkuu

I did not know that Northern slaves like you actually think. SE already has international airport. What else could the position give except having to LOOT federal treasury? Well there are different ways to kill a cat. Many Nigerians are very poorly educated. Buhari will definitely convert more Nigerians into almajiris.

    • Guguru

      Uwadiegwu,

What is written on your forehead again—-LOSER?

          Nkuu,

I have three bedroom flat to rent to you on planet Jupiter. The flat has servants with 3 eyes, 5 legs, and 12 nostrils.

          • Nkuu

I am not in a rush to leave this planet. Now that you have made up your mind to leave this planet drop the address. Au revoir!!

        • Jujubeans

Secede already! Instead of arguing mindlessly. You guys should organise yourselves using your minority in the house as a platform to campaign for a referendum. The world is more receptive to self determination via peaceful referenda now, with recent precedents: South Sudan seceded from North Sudan in 2011 and Scotland attempted to secede from the UK in 2014. Go for it… The rest of Nigeria won’t stop you this time.

  • Ukpaka

While I do not subscribe to ethnic politics, I have to agree with this writer. Firstly, I do believe the result as announced in Anambra state does not reflect the will of the people. How Could ‘Madam’ Ekwunife defeat both Ngige and Umeh in Anambra state Senatorial election?. On what record did she run her campaign on besides the instruction given to Arthur Eze by GEJ to see she (Ekwunife) and Mrs Oduah are elected. This result was basically written by Arthur Eze and his disciples to humiliate Ngige….this explains while Ngige was allocated 3rd place to ensure that if PDP loses at the tribunal (PDP has multiple candidates making claim to the ticket), the position goes to APGA instead of APC. I do hope this election is cancelled and rescheduled for a future date. You don’t kidnap a political party’s poll agent and still call the election free and fair.
Besides that, the Igbos need to re-orient their thinking from the acceptance of illiterate-money-bags (Arthur Eze, Chris Uba, Abana, Ifanyi Uba, etc) as heroes ( I call them zeroes instead). Other ethnic groups have moved away from this practice. You don’t want your kids growing up wanting to be like Chris Ubah or Arthur Eze.
The worst offender as far as Igbo politics goes is Ohaneze Ndi Igbo – the gathering of the most corrupt. selfish and useless old men. I am yet to find a single good act from this group in Igbo land. I hope the youth start ignoring them and their selfish directives. We need to make sure our kids are given proper education so they can think for themselves and not let useless organizations such as Ohaneze doing the thinking for them. We need to stand for a cause, not count.

    • Guguru

      Ukpaka,

Thank you. You don talk true.

      • Jujubeans

Very true. Some people are just not capable of introspection or self analysis. Unfortunately it seems quite a few Igbos on this forum suffer from that ailment. It’s quite unfortunate. I myself am amazed. Is that a function of poor education or what? How can so many people be so small minded?

        • Guguru

          jujubeans,

I am with you. I have asked the same questions too.

    • Nkuu

MUMU who went to school depending only on handouts. Talk to properly educated Igbos, if you are one, to show you how to get quality education. Now you write & think like Yoruba; maybe you have overstayed in Lagos without traveling home. Travel home, mix with other educated Igbos to access the fountain of wisdom.

      • Guguru

        Nkuu,

PDP lost the election. In how many ways do you want to hear this salient truth

        • Nkuu

Thank you that you are aware that PDP lost an election. I was beginning to think that many think that Buhari carried out a coup. He just won an election to be there till 2019 or 2022 or 2023. It is not a big deal and there is no lesson for Igbos to learn.

In 2011, Buhari promised to hand over power to Igbos in 2019 if they voted for him. Still Igbos voted Jonathan. What does that tell you? Igbos are not necessarily desperate to be president. Igbos understand that they will be president.

Power shifts back to SE or SS in 2019 or 2023. So I am still scratching my head to make sense of overblown euphoria as if a coup just happened. Igbos are wise in their voting pattern, if you ask me. It takes real thinking to get that though.

          • Soja

Don’t you think Igbos are not president because of their inccesstant miscalculations of the Nigerian politics. Or cannot really put any one of note forward who cuts across the nation or even just slightly beyond the 5 states of SE?

          • Guguru

Can you produce the source of your information?

      • Ukpaka

It’s obvious you’re uneducated. Going to school and getting educated are not necessarily the same. If you were educated, you would counter my point with yours which you failed to do but instead threw the first insult. Empty vessels make most noise. When you have nothing to contribute, it’s better to shut up than call people names…..it shows you have no brains. I will ignore any stu pid remark you make unless you have something constructive to add to the discourse. I don’t have time for insecure people.

        • Nkuu

Why should I waste my time running after your inconsequential points. I thought I should just capture the bottom line in all of these.

For you to refer to Ohanaeze as ‘useless’ shows how USELESS you are. For what? What is Ohaneze? You think it is a political party? You see why I refer to you as MUMU!!!

You are very irresponsible but you have no idea; yet it comes across glaringly. Onye nzuzu,

          • Jujubeans

It’s unfortunate, you need to leave the village and see how the rest of the world has moved on. Maybe your eye will clear then.

    • Jujubeans

Well said! Perhaps it’s time for those of us who are educated to come back home and wrestle power away from these illiterate motor park tout gangsters.

  • Nkuu

IGBOS ARE A GREAT PEOPLE. THEY ARE SO GREAT THAT OTHER TRIBES SHAKE AT THE MENTION OF IGBOS. IT TAKES A GREAT PEOPLE TO BE DISCUSSED AS IGBOS ARE.

A MAN WHO CHASETH THE IGBOS IN NIGERIA CHASETH HIS SHADOW. IN IGBO LAND THAT SINGULAR ACT QUALIFIES THE MAN AS A CRAZY.

    • Thepeople

Yes we are leaving in the shadows of our former selves. That is why the south west is now teaching us politics. We have become political ‘tatas’ in Nigeria.

      • Nkuu

There is nothing to learn from South West. They are pandering to their northern masters. The North lost elections for 16 years and they did not become political ‘tatas.’ When in the last 6 years the Yorubas were not predominant in federal govt, they did not become political ‘tatas.’ Now that Igbos in support of Jonathan for 6 years may be out of govt. suddenly they become political ‘tatas.’

If you are Igbo, the least we expect from you is to obtain quality education. Your post does show you have done this basic requirement of an Igbo, if you ask me.

        • Thepeople

Insults does not win a debate. Infact insults shows you are loosing the argument and a sign of less than a matured or sound mind. Because one does not agree with your point of view, he becomes less of an Igbo man. Intolerance of contrary opinion in the south-east is what has pushed all Igbo people to the collective marginalisation at the centre that we are talking about.

          • Nkuu

Well you may consider it an insult because of your very “sensitive’ nature. For me I am communicating the truth. If you have not been making effort to think, why should you expect others not to tell you the truth?

Ordinarily I do not set out to insult anybody but when you spread half-truth, consciously or unconsciously, would you not understand if someone else considered that as insulting too? Then we all end up feeling insulted?

I made my point, outside the insult you perceive. Relate to my point and redeem yourself.

      • Otile

Your reasoning is puerile. Get some education, and stop claiming to be Igbo when you are not.

  • Paul Graham

In politics, People have permanent interest and not friends. The Ibos sold their interest for a piece of silver. They have nobody else to blame but themselves. It’s a case of a few taking the rest for a ride. What a blind Nation!

    • Nkuu

IGBOS DO NOT NEED SENATE PRESIDENT ON ANY CONDITION BUT MERIT.

      • Jujubeans

HOW do you imagine that Igbos don’t need government to survive? The roads you drive on, who built those? The school/universities? The GSM you use, who provided the regulatory framework for those? What about the airports and sea ports? The police, immigration, security service, passports, I can go on and on. Biko Ndigbo and any decent society NEEDS societal organisation through government. The alternative is to live in the “jungle”. And in large parts of Igboland, I fear that is the case.

    • Otile

You are in no position to advise Igbo whom to vote for. With or without your rotten leadership Igbo people will still shine to your dismay. Nonsense

  • Paul Graham

The highest number of fraudsters are Ibos and in today’s world some villages and communities in Iboland are without electricity. I will rather Ibos are amajeris than a bunch of thieves and rogues. Rochas Okorocha is providing free education in IMO State. I will rather have half education than none. Why are the villages in Ibo land like ghost towns, The Ibos destroy their own. The Ibos have more properties and businesses in the North and South West than in the combined states of the South East. Ibos that benefited from Awolowos free education are more enlightened and exposed to the rudiments of modern politics. The Senate President is an extremely powerful position and only a person so materialistic will dismiss such an office. I rest my case.

    • Guguru

      True.

    • Otile

You are a damned dishonest fellow. Name one Igbo that beefitted from Thief Awolowo’s free education funded with the proceeds of oil money from SE SS.

Travel around the world like many of us do and see who are the fraudsters especially US and European Union. Tell me whether majority of them are not Yorubas. They defraud US in particular with insurance, medicare, claiming money from fictitious jobs, and above all defrauding unsuspecting women with bogus marriage arrangements.

We are aware of all these, it is when you attack Igbos unjustly that we expose you. Nonsense

      • Curseless

You must be a kid by age otherwise you should have known that when Awolowo was trail blazing the development of the then Western Nigeria the masterpiece he created was based based on Cocoa proceeds because there was nothing like oil then. Free education, Cocoa house, Liberty stadium, WNBS/WNTV first in Africa were all executed with Cocoa money and he had left overs then that he ocassionaly bailed the government at the center out when things are tough.

    • Jujubeans

Well said Paul. Don’t mind all these myopic Biafra philes that haven’t been to their villages in 25 years and yet are here talking nonsense. I don’t know how many people even go home for Christmas anymore because of fear of kidnapping. Biko secede already! Use your MINORITY in the senate/house to lobby for a referendum. People like Otile should organise like minds and form a movement for a referendum on secession. The world has changed and is more receptive to self determination now. Recent precedents include South Sudan seceding via peaceful referendum from North Sudan in 2011, And Scotland attempting to Secede from England just last year via referendum. Do it soon , after these elections, my guess is this time, the rest of Nigeria won’t stop you .

  • The people

The so called Igbo leaders should revisit their politics and try to avoid politics of self interest. Igbos as a people need leaders with vision, who are able to see the bigger picture and have the ability of critical analysis. Yes, we are going to loose out in terms of not producing the senate president or the speaker, what does it matter to the man on the street. What did Pius Anyim been the secretary to government hand down to the Igbo man in Aba or Alaba market. Did it give us good roads, better school, or better hospital……? Fashola in Lagos state did not have a Yoruba man to be senate president or speaker to perform. We have marginalised ourselves at the centre, but with right leaders we can still develop ourselves in our states for a greater influence in Nigeria. Self reliance is a known quality of the Igboman or woman.

    • Otile

Senate President my foot. Nigerian politicians all over are there to steal oil money, what do they do for the poor masses? I am surprised that the poor masses of the North and South West are fat and happy that their people are presidents and top politicians all the time with the poor benefiting nothing from the corrupt politics.

It will be a miracle if Imam Buhari and Honorable Osinbajo will abolish mass poverty and disillusionment among their poor people during their noisy regime. Let us see.

What Igbo needs is secession not this damned amalgamation. Nonsense

      • Lemmuel Odjay

Secession to where the same carnivores do not exist, Otile? Even you could think like this? To fight and run away and live to fight another day? This is not the ideal of the great Igbo of yore…

        • Nkuu

what is the ideal of Igbo of yore…? How many fights have your people of present and yore done for yourselves and anyone else?

          • Lemmuel Odjay

Republicanism, pragmatism and a positive mental attitude that suggests something like: “we are what we are, but we are prepared to talk and work with others for the benefit of all…” Can you see any of those traits today?

          • Nkuu

I will still assume that your are no posting from an Ogogoro joint. I make the statement because how could you pose that question when Igbos are the second nationality in every state in Nigeria. How many of your people are in SE? How can a people who have single handedly developed much of Lagos, Abuja, Kano be said to have not been working with others? Or you mean that they refuse to work with many lazy, incompetent, parasitic people parading themselves as Nigerians?

This is exactly why Igbos should take to the presidency to revamp an educational system that produce BENDED minds like yours, no insult intended. JUST THINK OF IT OF YOU QUESTIONING IGBOS READINESS TO WORK WITH OTHERS AGAINST MY ARGUMENT. DO YOU THINK YOU COME ACROSS AS INTELLIGENT? YOU BE THE JUDGE!!! I am waiting…

          • Soja

“How can a people who have single handedly developed much of Lagos,
Abuja, Kano be said to have not been working with others? Or you mean
that they refuse to work with many lazy, incompetent, parasitic people
            parading themselves as Nigerians?”

            hmmmm

        • Otile

Secession doesn’t need any war to happen. Incompatible groups of people can honorably separate without hard feeling. Any group who attacks people wanting to secede are greedy and desperate to exploit something from the secessionists.

          • Lemmuel Odjay

Otile, the same set of destructive elements could be found in every tribal divide in Nigeria. They are only there to throw spanner in the works of any who dares to progress. Could we possibly deal with them first before proceeding further? This was the point I tried to make

          • Otile

Say what you want to say, so far you have said nothing. …the same set of destructive elements means nothing to readers except you who wrote it.

        • Otile

Every stupid_fellow pretends to know what is ideal for Igbo of their sarcastic yore.

      • Tunji Olarewaju

And what do think will happen after your secession?People like you will start kidnapping and robbing your brothers

  • Joe Farhan

The Igbos dosen’t need senate president, premiumtimes and Sahara reporters can take the position

  • Guguru

How do you identify the Igbo man? Simple !

Take N5 billion today or wait for 5 years to receive N12 billion. Igbo man will take N5 billion today. Poor decision driven by instant gratification and a false sense of purpose and a poor awareness of self.

    • Nkuu

Now you have revealed to all why your people are impoverished, because they do not do things like Igbos.

With what you stated that Igbos do, statistics show that Igbos have more professors than your people; Igbos are the wealthiest Nigerians on average than your people; Igbos have the largest number of Nigerian professors and professionals in diaspora.

Curious who needs a lesson here?

    • Garden-City Boy

And your existence in 5 years is guaranteed, ndeh? I now understand why the Igbo man is miles ahead. In 5 years, the Igbo man would have grown the N5b to N20b, not just N12b.

      • Guguru

LOL. You just proved my point. All you see is money. That is exactly what is wrong with Igbo people.

  • Okeybakassi 2

THE IGBO ARE SMART AND WILL END UP AS WINNERS WITH PDP
BECAUSE BUHARI STANDS DISQUALIFIED UNDER SECTION 137(I)

      • agaracha

Buhari, what are you still doing in court till today?

Muhammadu Buhari, you were sued to court on 6th January for telling lies on oath.
You were sued for falsely asserting in INEC Form that you sat for and took the 1961
Cambridge/Was examination in 1961. You quickly got five lawyers to defend you in
court but without also quickly or even up till today attaching any copy of your claimed
WASC/Cambridge certificate dated 1961 to the INEC Form. What sort of
        dis-honest human being are you?

What are you doing in court till today, given that you have not till today filed ANY
pleading in court since January 6th to repeat the nonsense you felt free to tout in
newspapers without any penalty of perjury – that the freshly handwritten rubbish
fabricated by the current Principal of Katsina College, and dated 2014, is the 1961
WASC/Cambridge certificate you swore on oath you have?

Does the Katsina Provincial College set and conduct Cambridge examination as
a legally-authorized assessment body? What sort of illiteracy is this you display? Is it that
you don’t know if you took the exam or not? What are you still doing in court since you know
you don’t have any defence for not having a Wasc/Cambridge certificate dated 1961?

        • agaracha

……….(2) Buhari, what are you still doing in court till today?

Let me make an informed guess why you are still in court despite your having no defence
since 6th of January. Your crooked type is commonplace and known to bright lawyers.
You are in court ONLY to slow, stall or halt proceedings from ever getting to the point
where you must make a confession that you lied with intent to STEAL the presidency of
Nigeria. That is the only plausible reason you are still in court without making any plea
there of either having a Wasc certificate or even any plea at all.

Your fraudulent plot to steal the presidency of Nigeria by guile or stealth will not work.
Justice Ademola has 36 days to RESOLVE you without need for further long adjournment.
What you plan to do is obvious: you want May 29th to arrive and then ask to be sworn in,
without ever having to show any Wasc certificate, if any, and then, take refuge under the
‘Constitutional Immunity’ of a sitting Head of Sate
. It will not happen, Buhari.

You must answer for your misdeeds. One APC Presidential Committee Member long said
you don’t have any WASC because you were expelled from Secondary School. So, what
are you still doing in court? What do you want to defend? Till today and since 6th January,
you have not filed any pleading in court to either deny or assert that you have Wasc.

Without making any confession or showing proof in court, you naively believe the 2.5million more votes you had at 28th March election can be ignited to move out your beloved mass illiterates to the streets to fight and cancel or override the 1999 Constitution? Sorry O, Buhari, Yoruba people will never protest against a law written in the Constitution that you knew of since the year 1999
          but sought to break.

      • baba

The rank and file Yoruba is a dishonest person, hateful and envious of others. They were envious that an Ijaw man was the president. Now that their Ijaw foot-mart lost the election everyone of the Yorubas is blaming the Igbo. Igbo was not running for the presidency, Igbo did not prevent their master from wining, yet every Yoruba bad belly person is blaming the Igbo people. This is a stupid_blame game that does not do them any good. Nonsense

    • Garden-City Boy

You forgot something. As far as awusa and yoruba bigots are concerned, Jonathan is Igbo . Nigeria is a disaster in ethnic stereotyping, a country that do not see the characterization of their communities as “MINORITY” as slurry.

  • Paul Graham

There was no oil money during Awos free education programs just the Ground Nut pyramid in the North and Cocoa from the West. The oil recently discovered in the East is less than 10% of the Country’s output. As for having been all over the world, you have to back it up with data and statistics. There are too many Owanetiloras without visible means of lively hood. When was the last time you visited your village in the East? Most people abroad are afraid to travel to parts of the East for fear of being kidnapped even if they are coming from Cotonou. Being sentimental will not help issues. The outgoing President may well be our next Nobel laureate and is in poll position from winning the Mo Ibrahim award for his Statesmanship. The Presiient deserves a good rest after office if only the likes of you will let peace be.

    • Nkuu

Awo free education is overflogged. If Awo free education worked why are Igbos still have more professors in Nigeria than Yorubas? What tangibly can Yorubas show to support that Awo’s free education was better than the policy of Igbos?

You want statistics, nko? Why not forward statistics to debunk the claims?

There are more bank robbery, ritual & cultist killings in SW than the entire Nigeria combined and they are all perpetuated by Yorubas. SW also has become the kidnapping base in Nigeria of recent. You saw how kidnappers homes were demolished one after the other by Gov. Obiano and in Abia and elsewhere. Let the SW demolish the homes built by LOOTERS, CULTISTS, ARMED ROBBERS ETC.

If people do not travel to the East, who voted in SE or SS for the politicians that participated in the elections?

      • Mr. Begy

You forgot to mention drug trafficking.

    • Otile

What do you mean by no oil during Thief Awolowo’s free education. Oil was found in Olobiri Bayelsa, Owaza Abia state, Egbema Imo state in 1957. Nigeria got independence 1960. By mid 1960s oil was awash all over the former Eastern Nigeria, from Bendel to Cross Rivers. When was Thief Awolowo the Finance minister? When did he start dipping his fingers into Federal treasury? When did his wife become the bursar, books, and school supplier in all the schools in Western Nigeria? Don’t try to be dishonest with history. These facts are written down, if you don’t read we do.

    • Mr. Begy

Kidnapping is all over the country, 200 girls in the North, arm robbery so predominant in the west. The crime is not restricted to a particular zone of the country.

But is there no man or woman inside the APC with some ounce of honour? It seems there isn’t.
For i can’t understand APC’s determination to overthrow the Constitution of Nigeria – which is
a typical infamy associated with all Islamist parties worldwide. Islamists have no respect for law.

A man of honour will urge APC executives to file a discontinuance with INEC than egg Buhari to the point when he will have to appear in court by subpoena to bring and deliver his Waec certificate. This case can’t be resolved without Buhari’s personal appearance. Why put this Buhari man into further disgrace on a court case he can NEVER win?

This is the time for Christians, secularists and moderate Muslims to pull together in a coalition.
They may call themselves DEFENDERS OF RULE OF LAW to uphold §137 (i) of the Constitution.
Morning shows the day. APC is a lawless party without scruples or respect for the law of the land.
If Nigerian democrats do not defeat APC the courthouse now all Nigerians should get ready for ‘lawless government’ by APC – a party that can only be removed by coup d’etat or civil war.

It is not how far but how well, was Zik not a former President, what of Agunyi Irons I,when Ikemba Ojukwu ran for President did ibos support him? When was the last time you traveled to the East. I bet if and when you go you sneak in like a thief in the night for fear of being kidnapped. Many Ibos from overseas stay in hotels in Lagos and send for family members. How can indigbo ever become President without the South West and North support. The combined voting bock of South South and South East is not enough. Politics is about alignments.

    • Mr. Begy

PDP is a National party, yet Igbos voted for PDP instead of APGA that is more or less a regional party. Igbos have always align with all parties especially the party in Power, quite unlike the Yoruba that are entrenched in regional party. When did they leave AC?They got into the mainstream political party because of merger by many parties. Before, now AC and UPN held sware in SW, where they clench all the elective posts. Igbos are in all the political parties. However, PDP came back with their rigging machinery in the states, even the incumbent governors from other parties could not secure any senatorial seat. It is a fact that Ngige was rigged out. Perhaps, he underestimated the rigging powers of PDP. His complacency cost him the post. Ekwunife that won the seat is no match to Ngige in any reification. If a free election is conducted any time, Ngige will win with landslide.

You are absolutely right! You are one mullah that has loosened up under the inebriating euphoria of Buhari’s conquest of Nigeria. And I hope you don’t risk a fatwa for for saying what your fellow mullahs would rather leave unsaid. Only problem is the use the word “REWARD” which you should switch for “APPEASE”, reason being that the awusa mullahs possess nothing of value acceptable to anybody as ‘reward’.
Now, it is much in the same way awusa/fulani appeased Yoruba with Obasanjo after the murder of MKO and his wife for daring to win an electoral mandate to be president. That was a strategy that worked for Yar’Adua to be eased into Aso Rock. However, you aptly remind us that the Jonathan project was to appease the S/S for the murder of Ken Saro-Wiwa, Isaac Boro, Chief Harry and Chief Dikibo. Jonathan then served to calm down the restive Niger Delta militants, in order to facilitate the freewheeling plunder and pillage of our oil resources by awusa/fulani bandits that own 83% of all the entire oil blocs. You also remind us that when it comes to oil blocs business, “federal character, quota system, catchment area or even zoning principle are thrown overboard. After all, traditional oil sheikhs are mullahs; awusa/fulani oil monopolist see themselves as Nigerian version of oil sheikhs. How can you beat that? Mr Mullah, you couldn’t be more factual or more analytical.

Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Senator Gyang Pwajok has blamed President Goodluck Jonathan’s defeat during the March 28 presidential election on what he described as politics of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) distribution by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Pwajok, who spoke with journalists in Jos, the state capital expressed belief that the outcome of the poll, in which the APC candidate, Gen Mohammadu Buhari defeated President Jonathan, would have been different if INEC had ensured even distribution of PVCs across the states according to the number of registered voters.

Pwajok said: “In my ward like many other wards across the country, we had an experience where 818 people with zero registration progressed to re-register, and then when the PVC were supposed to be given to them, only eight out of the number were given. That means that over 800 people were disenfranchised by INEC and yet the person has no way of getting the PVC himself except going through the electoral body. So, it means that there was politics of distribution of PVCs which affected the outcome of the elections.”

The true colour of Ibo would come out when it is time for southern region to produce the president. At that time we will know if Ibo will allow the Ijaw to produce the candidate. It’s that time you will hear Ndigbo shouting on top of their nerves, it’s our turn and not Ijaw, Jonathan has used Ijaw own, Ibo is not Ijaw and Ijaw is not Ibo. Even people here commenting nonsense as if their brain has been borrowed or sold out would be the first to speak out, we are not Ijaw, it’s our turn.

  • Okey

These hungry, angry and desperately office-seeking so-called Igbo leaders should be honest to themselves to say that they are desperately seeking to save or protect themselves for April 11. They should face their ambition and mission with the sincerity it deserves. They should be mindful not to make the mistake of interpreting Igbos as fools, otherwise Ndigbo will visit their anger on them come April 11.

All along, these self-seeking Igbos had always praised the Yoruba for remaining steadfast to the ideal of one-united-entity for not only political relevance but bargaining. The Yoruba built that pedigree and out of it came the beautiful bride that must be reckoned with by anybody or block seeking anything today in Nigeria. But today, desperately office seeking elements among the Igbo are poo-pooing the very strategy that gave their compatriots a stronger bargaining power; a strategy they (Igbo elements) have always envied of and commended the Yoruba for. They will rather have an Igbo nation with disparate, unidentifiable stand and mission that will serve only the interest of the few.

A positive aspect of it all is that, exclusion at the centre will engender positive behaviour at home. It will, willy-nilly, force Igbo Governors to be judicious and accountable in their management and husbandry of received allocations to their state, which allocations I know will not be denied them because they are not in APC. For I am one those who believe, strongly, that corruption pervades more at the states level than at the centre; that there is not check-and-balance at the states level because, honestly and seriously speaking, there are no state legislatures in Nigeria; that in the result, the unemployment and hunger which is the bye-product of mindless corruption in the states are deftly pushed to and blame on the Federal Government. If therefore, the Igbo Governors will be just a little honest in the management of resources, Gen. Buhari and APC can take their Senate President and Speaker to wherever will comfort their souls, Ndigbo will not will not die.

The average Igbo man decided for himself on the day of election bearing in mind that he has never seen the way to and fro Igboland – be it Lagos to Onitsha or Abuja to Enugu – better than under Jonathan, and rightly considered it an act of wickedness to turn their back against such a man.

Why then should I be proud to be a Nigerian? No. It makes no sense whatsoever – that you own the resources and that the regions that own nothing turn around and use terrorism and collusion (due to their numbers) to hijack power…and now they begin to share positions and no one remembers the Eagle that lays the Golden Silver and Bronze eggs. Yes! We the Niger Deltans and the Igbo East lay EVERY egg.

There can never be peace without justice———————I have always been an advocate of separation-long b4 the election——And said Jonathan will be disgraced out of office not by the electorates but a group of visionless fulanis——-ati some Yoruba rogues—Fulanis—whose roots are not even known to any of us——if Buhari had won the election clean and fair–no wahala–but to use the CIA and MI5-atim kids imported from Chad-to oust him from power is unacceptable——-All the time-Obj was penning those useless letters——-little did we know that he was doing it through the prompting of Obama and the UK government————-I cannot reside in a country with a group of humans who take Ijaws for 7th class citizens in spite of our contributions to National development—let the Yorubas go and hang around the Falanis that they wanted to use in killing Jonathan—–iF GEJ HAD NOT USED HIS WISDOM TO CONGRATULATE BUHARI–the Yoruba would have used Soyinka–Obj and bakare–to give Jonathan the gbagbo treatment—did PASTOR Bakare not urge Nigerians to give Jonathan the Gaddafi treatment—These Yorubas are not humans———-no wonder they often this ritual killing thing–Separation is the answer–Freedom in poverty is better than slavery in riches—-

      • El Niño

Chicken brain, when you get your separation remember to also advocate for angels to come down from heaven to rule you. It is these same greed, stupidity and mediocrity in every Igboman that has made all of you to throw your eggs into one basket just look at where it has landed you now. You want to separate, you can go, no one is holding you back. As a matter of fact Nigeria will be better off without you as things stand now!

      • orosun

Why cant you people just accept that your leader Jonathan was useless leader and a failure instead of wallowing in your blind tribalistic ignorance which will co tinue to make you third class citizens of Nigeria if you dont open brains to know that no single tribe can on its own win the presidency without the cooperation of other tribes in Nigeria

  • OYEDELE ODEYINKA

IBOS HAVE NEVER BEEN TENACIOUS POLITICIANS. THEIR WRONG POLITICAL CALCULATIONS AND TRIBAL OR REGIONAL POLITICAL INCLINATION, HAS DEPRIVED THEM OF THE REQUIRED IMPACT IN THE POLITICAL SPHARES OF NIGERIA. THEY HAVE VERY EDUCATED PEOPLE, BUT THEIR CALCULATION ALWAYS GOES TO THE WRONG SIDE.

    • burning spear

Have the Ibos not been made Senate presidents b4—a total of 9 of them—–what glory did it bring to them–?——when Jonathan won the 2011 election he decided to form a government of National Unity——–The Yorubas in ACN refused to join in his government—————What we are saying here is that the Yorubas and Fulanis aligned with the CIA and MI5 to rig Jonathan out of office–That can happen to any Ibo man tomorrow—Already the Fulani want them out of Abuja—–They claim the Ibos have taken over their properties in abuja——————–

I said it on many occasions———-that the day the Ijaw nation will accept the hand of friendship and understanding from the Igbo Nation—that would be the end of Nigeria—————————I knew the tenure of Jonathan will end like this———–They used him to build their roads–schools—-improve the investment climate of Nigerian then the Yorubas used the Fulani agents working for the CIA—-and MI5–TO RIG Jonathan OUT OF POWER————-WHAT DID Nigerian DO WHEN Abiola and Kudirat WERE KILLED–Are the Fulanis not with the Yorubas now?——–Separation is the only answer——————–lt the Yorubas go with their Fulani–What are the signs that the Yorubas will ever change—?

    • El Niño

Mediocrity at its best. Take your medicine and get some sleep, you are losing it already!

    • Tunsj

Sometimes I wonder if you are a human being because you always fall short of the real truth in your comments. I wonder how many times a day you’re going to copy and paste the same thing. Facts are meaningless to people like you and you don’t have a freaking clue what you are talking about. You have been running your mouth about the Yorubas and I’m sick and tired hearing this over and over. One thing I’m sure of is that you are living in one of the Southwest states and you are jealous seeing some of the achievements. When you have no real message, you have to dress it up a lot.

      • Mujiya

Stop reading his comments, if you have to, don’t dignify him with a reply.

  • El Niño

Okorocha, with whatever position you get in the new government, use it to develop your Orlu people and homeland. Let the rest of Imo state and entire Igboland feast on the waywardness and greed of the PDP they voted for. They have been enjoying it for the past 16 years and even now there is no reason why they or anyone else should wish them otherwise!

  • Assibi

I’m Igbo myself, but don’t give a damn if an Igbo gets senate or house of representatives presidency. We’ve had them all before, the Anyims and so forth, but all they did was fill their pockets and place their village folks in good government positions, but Igboland in general remained in a worse state. What we need is a government that provides infrastructure and fertile environment for education, healthcare, and free enterprise, regardless of who is president. If revenue sharing and infrastructural development is based on a formula, no one would bother if the president is his dad or enemy, and no one would want a hundred more states created.

    • I Hate Sycophant Truly

But don’t cry marginalization when time roll in.

      • joshua

He is correct the amount of money being shared by the states, legislative arms is mind boggling with judicious use of this funds every state in Nigeria will be great, but alas the money is entering directly into pockets.

  • Omo

We will know, come April 11th, if we Igbo’s learned any lesson at all from the presidential election saga. If there is a fairly balanced vote, for example 40% for one party and 60% for the other, that would be evidence that the Igbo voters have learned to make independent decisions. However, if we vote up to 90% for one party (PDP or APC) then we are still wallowing in the same error.

  • Comfortkay

Ndigbo have never learn anything from history , they are always against anything that will bring Nigeria forward. Let them continued with their romances in PDP.

    • joshua

Move Nigeria forward, now thats an oxymoron. Every so called single Nigerian is selfish, greedy waiting for “their turn”. And fail to see Buhari is not the solution, granted he is an hounable man however the Nigerian system is rotten to the core pure and simple, and it will take the collective effort of every one to salvage it. So I will rather advice the so called Igbo to develop a system to be self reliant within the confines of the Nigerian state constitution. To be an example to other black people.

      • bitter truth

        Example of greed!

  • March 28

Igbo people,am sorry for U.U have had your best of chance under clueless GEJ government, let’s other region have there time under GMB afterward,U can’t eat your cake and still have it,sheekenah!

    • Tunsj

A lot of them are blaming the Yorubas for supporting Buhari.

      • Otile

You can support Satan for favors if you like, who cares? Nigeria is not about to become a better place because a certificate forger comes to power. Shame.

You don’t have anything to say? We are tired of hearing this one.

  • dozie

We don’t need your Nigeria or Senate, all this petty polictians crying because the people spoke their mind is just thieves, WE DONT WANT nigeria simple, we can take care of our selves

    • Shittu

    • ibreakhearts

You don’t want Nigeria. You don’t have Biafra. I think la la land will befit idiots like you.

  • personal opinion

When the yoruba’s where playing regional politics with acn and refused to join the pdp nobody called them myopic bla bla bla. The same way the yoruba’s played regional politics and succeeded so will the igbo’s. When has it become a crime not to vote for buhari or goodluck?

  • Dr Pat Kolawole Awosan

Igbo people are their own enemies who destroyed their own children future because, of personal bribes-gains from PDP led by president Ebele Jonathan.Igbo leaders promote and sponsor ethnic/religious sentiments in the recent concluded presidential/general elections. Now Igbo lost any chance of running for for the position of speakership or senate president as they are not mostly members of the APC winning team in the 2015 elections.Igbo people refused to be part of change like the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba people.Nigeria must move forward with or without Igbo people.Yoruba people know how to play their political card right.
