Obama writes Nigerians over elections, urges peace

President Barack Obama

As preparations intensify for general elections in Nigeria, starting Saturday, the United States President, Barack Obama, on Monday sent a special message to Nigerians, urging a credible and peaceful polls.

In the message sent directly to Nigerians, President Obama reminded the people about their struggle for the country’s independence from colonialism, the struggle against military dictatorship and the need to turn the country’s diversity into a source of strength.

“I call on all Nigerians to peacefully express your views and to reject the voices of those who call for violence,” Mr. Obama said.

“And when elections are free and fair, it is the responsibility of all citizens to help keep the peace, no matter who wins,” he added.

Read full text of Mr. Obama’s Message to the Nigerian People below:

“Hello.  Today, I want to speak directly to you—the people of Nigeria.

Nigeria is a great nation and you can be proud of the progress you’ve made.  Together, you won your independence, emerged from military rule, and strengthened democratic institutions.  You’ve strived to overcome division and to turn Nigeria’s diversity into a source of strength.  You’ve worked hard to improve the lives of your families and to build the largest economy in Africa.

Now you have a historic opportunity to help write the next chapter of Nigeria’s progress—by voting in the upcoming elections.  For elections to be credible, they must be free, fair and peaceful.  All Nigerians must be able to cast their votes without intimidation or fear.

So I call on all leaders and candidates to make it clear to their supporters that violence has no place in democratic elections—and that they will not incite, support or engage in any kind of violence—before, during, or after the votes are counted.  I call on all Nigerians to peacefully express your views and to reject the voices of those who call for violence.  And when elections are free and fair, it is the responsibility of all citizens to help keep the peace, no matter who wins.

Successful elections and democratic progress will help Nigeria meet the urgent challenges you face today.  Boko Haram—a brutal terrorist group that kills innocent men, women and children—must be stopped.  Hundreds of kidnapped children deserve to be returned to their families.  Nigerians who have been forced to flee deserve to return to their homes.  Boko Haram wants to destroy Nigeria and all that you have worked to build.  By casting your ballot, you can help secure your nation’s progress.

I’m told that there is a saying in your country: “to keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done”. Today, I urge all Nigerians—from all religions, all ethnic groups, and all regions—to come together and keep Nigeria one.  And in this task of advancing the security, prosperity, and human rights of all Nigerians, you will continue to have a friend and partner in the United States of America.

“I call on all Nigerians to peacefully express your views and to reject the voices of those who call for violence,” Mr. Obama said.
“And when elections are free and fair, it is the responsibility of all citizens to help keep the peace, no matter who wins,” he added.

With these from Obama…. why hasn’t he respected the voice of Israelis?

    • Maitama Tambari

What do you mean “he has not respected the voice of Israelis?”. Has he not accepted the result of the election or what is in your mind? If it is the decision of the elected PM to reject two States Decision, it means you have not been following the history and conflicts of Israel and Palestine. Over forty years, Europe, USA and Israel in UN Resolution 102 and 104 have accepted the two States Resolution. What is holding it back is the hypocrisy of Europeans and Americans in supporting Israel to negotiate with Palestine to arrive at common agreement without imposition from UN where Resolution 102 and 104 said the common border of the two States should be the boundary of 1967. President Obama was simply telling the Israel PM of decisions already taken over forty years ago. The PM has already recanted his election position of faulting the two States Solution. You are therefore wrong. It is not President Obama, but PM of Israel who did not respect the voice of Israel. He scored 28 seats, Labour Party scored 27 seats and other parties that scored the balance of 45 seats. The majority are 72 seats against 28 seats. That was the reason he recanted immediately President Obama reminded him of the end UN Resolution

“It is not President Obama, but PM of Israel who did not respect the voice of Israel. He scored 28 seats, Labour Party scored 27 seats and other parties that scored the balance of 45 seats. The majority are 72 seats against 28 seats. ”

You kind of got it so twisted.

Bibi losing in the polls days before the election
Bibi says “there would be no Palestinian state under his watch”
Bibi wins the election in a landslide.

So what is the voice of the people?
So whatever Obama says is now the voice of the people? So much for democracy.

To correct your blantant inaccuracies… Bibi’s Likud party got 30 seats. Herzog’s Labour got 24 seats. Threshold for a coalition is 61. As at today, Bibi has secured 67…..

If Israel wants to attack Iran while negotiations are progressing, It will have to go it alone, that’s America message to a belligerent Netanyahu whose country needs the the USA to provide the bunker-buster missiles to blast the nuclear facilities embedded in the mountains. You just don’t comment without the basic information on the mideast peace process.

      • okmich

How has the provision of bunker-buster got to do with accepting the fact that Bibi won in a landslide against all odds.
What has the provision of bunker-buster got to do with Obama’s campaign strategist – Jeremy Bird launching a campaign of “anything but Bibi” in Israel with US Dept funding?

You may know some things about the mideast peace process…. but this is not close to what I am talking about. So your so-called basic information is kind of misplaced.

“TO KEEP NIGERIA ONE IS THE TASK THAT MUST BE DONE” Yes Barrak H. Obama, thank you for reminding us at this critical period of our country’s history, once again. This period is equal to the period when the phrase was coiled. WE ALL BELIEVE CHANGE! YES WE CAN IN NIGERIA. ALI MUST GO. YES JONATHAN MUST GO.

  • Peter Eleme

    @President Obama,

Thank you jare, you do well. But before you finish writing your own letter.
one yeye man called Femi Falana – a useless man – said that whether we
like it or not there must be coup this week before the election on Saturday.
That kind of animal talk is what under-develops Nigeria, compared to your
own polished, mature and reasoned advice to Nigeria. Femi Falana was not
doing freedom of speech O! He was running errands for Muslim Jihadists,
and we think he is on the payroll of a plea-bargained drugs-running criminal
    – Bola Ahmed Tinubu – on your country’s records. So you can see why Nigeria
has not developed. With someone like Femi Falana, Nigeria can never make it.

    • Gbade Smith

      Animal talk don start again…………..

“There is no indication that the election (on Saturday) will hold. If the
INEC goes ahead with the conduct of the elections, there are fears that
the exercise may be sabotaged by anti-democratic forces. If the election
holds the results may be rejected leading to a post-election violence
which may threaten the corporate existence of the nation.

In the circumstance, an interim government may be established and be
saddled with the task of preparing the country for another political
      transition.

In the alternative, a coup d’etat that may be staged by the top echelon
of the armed forces under the pretext of restoring law and order and fighting
the menace of insurgency. The military wing of the ruling parties succeeded
in Mali and Burkina Faso. But having divided the country along ethnic and

The real scam in Yorubaland is when the Muslims in APC party plot

West’s fight against ISIS and terrorism throughout the Middle East.
Western foreign policy observers, pre-occupied with the rise of ISIS
in the Middle East should wake up to the reality unfolding in Nigeria.

Opposition candidate General Buhari wants Sharia law throughout Nigeria.

A Washington-based influential think-tank in the United States of America (USA),
the Brookings Institution, has said the odds in Nigeria’s presidential election favor
President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Though the

Thank you Obama for addressing Nigerians and reiterating the fact linking the defeat of Boko Haram with the future of Nigeria and its citizens. Obama clearly knows that only GMB has the potentials to totally eliminate Boko Haram as well as other atrocities and calamities afflicting Nigeria and Nigerians. Can you imagine the huge support for GMB despite the fact that PDP has
already spent more than $17 million in its campaign, while APC has
expended only $7 million. GMB MARCH to mash them up come March the 28th.
Human tragedies, wars, avoidable deaths, cases of man’s inhumanity to
man are all vestiges of a PDP world without love. For if there was love
among PDP supporters, our world would be one continuous, never-ending
paradise, where everyday is Christmas or Sallah Day. But alas, this is
not to be. We live in an intriguing PDP world of unhappiness. Once
again, GMB, MARCH to mash them up come March 28th! The wind of change is
blowing very fast and no amount of intimidation or rigging will change
its direction. Nigerians have spoken and the whole world has spoken by
saying NO to the preservation of the present status quo in Nigeria.
Enormous and gargantuan shame, humiliation and disgrace to Nigeria and
Nigerians have been done under the poor or non-governance of the PDP.
What has become of the discombobulated and troubled giant called
Nigeria? How long and how much of disaster as well as atrocities and calamities
can be brought upon Nigerians by the PDP party that has been in
government for more than 16 years? Corruption in Nigeria under the rule
of PDP has eaten away the psyche of the nation in the form of eroded
confidence of the people in government. Massive corruption has been
present for more than 16 years on the political scene in Nigeria like
many nations, and the nation has become weak slowly by its weight.
Nigerians are sick and tired of thievery, robbery, embezzlement as well
as the practice of tribalism, nepotism, favouritism and so many other
negative PDP features. The party which has ruled the Republic of Nigeria
for more than 16 years has remained progressively more INSENSITIVE to the
menace of total corruption. Thanks to the Almighty, we now know that
PDP is a nefarious, villainous and sinking ship and is totally finished!
The time for a thorough change has matured. General Mohammadu Buhari is
here to salvage the nation. Although GMB has risen to STAR on the
political scene, but he will face a rough road in the coming days due to
PDP’s unpardonable dirty campaign. However, as it is usually said “When
going gets rough, the rough gets going.” GMB has IMPECCABLE CREDENTIALS
to carry on his Herculean fight against the deeply entrenched monster
of corruption. GMB is an anointed David to fight against a Goliath in
the form of the PDP Party, which has accumulated and imbibed the power
of politics for more than 16 years. GMB carries the true wish and
support from all walks of life, which PDP has failed to muster for the
same task. Time will tell how this David in the person of GMB would
succeed in taming the monster of corruption and diminishing the image of
Goliath on the Nigerian political scene. Time for change has finally
arrived and I hope this time my fellow Nigerians will not SCREW it up.
Vote for change! Vote for the future of your children! Vote for safety
and security! Vote for the assurance that your children will have a
better future than you do now! Vote for a just and fair Nigeria! Vote
for wealth redistribution and end hunger and malnutrition in Nigeria!
Defeat the old deal and its reckless spending! Vote out the party that
hangs PETTY THIEVES, but appoints the GREAT ONES to public office! What
PDP has been doing to Nigerians for the past 16 years reminds me of
Tolstoy’s statement, namely, “In order to get power and retain it, it is
necessary to love power; but love of power is not connected with
goodness but with qualities that are the opposite of goodness, such as
pride, cunning and cruelty.” Defeat this wickedness now! PDP has been in
power for more than 16 years and during this time all that Nigeria and
Nigerians have encountered and experienced is total regress of the
nation. Thanks to Mr. Goodluck’s administration, the Nigerian economy
has been downgraded to a JUNK LEVEL by standard and Poor’s. This is
because Mr. Goodluck is advised and surrounded by unproductive Nigerians
like Femi Fani-Kayode.Standard and Poor’s will continue to downgrade
the Nigerian Economy until the government in the centre gets rid of
economically unproductive people like Fani-Kayode. His main area of
productivity is depicted in the cartoon below. May God protect Nigeria from further atrocities and calamities of PDP. Amen!

He refused to support Nigeria’s anti-terror campaign…he started by refusing to list Boko Haram as a terror group even when Nigeria made repeated representations to that effect…
Mercy, though, Nigeria is winning the war despite him…
He should leave Nigeria alone…with friend like Obama’s America, one needs no enemy!

You are NOT a civil rights activist. You are an errand boy of Bola Tinubu.
In that paid servitude you run outstandingly bad errands for APC Islamists.
Your poor plagiarism here of Wole Soyinka’s earlier statement is nauseous.
Whilst you are here asserting the inevitability of a coup d’etat this week for sure,
Wole Soyinka relayed the information to President Jonathan to forestall a coup.

But you want a coup, because your Islamist APC masters can’t win the election.
You were even the first to rush to court to defend Buhari NOT having WASC.
From that day on, no evil too heinous could be put beyond you as a person.
You showed openly that where free money is involved, you’ll defend evil.
You have no moral compass and thus means you an utter waste of space.

THERE WILL MORE PROBABLY BE A COUP – Says Femi Falana

But having divided the country along ethnic and
religious lines, the masterminds of the political crisis are not likely to profit
          from the perfidy.”

Where will we draw the line on interim government + transition program, if as Femi Falana said,

I’m interested in Nigeria developing greatly. I wish for a time when our nation will leave the title of a mere developing country. I wish for a time when our green passport will not be an invitation to undeserved suspicion and embarrassment at foreign airports. For a time when economic growth will truly reflect in the lives of the common people. I wish for a time when we can be proud to be Nigerians.
On the other hand, I, like you love the comfort of continuity, the security of the familiar and tranquility of repetition.
But truth be told, there is something terribly wrong with this country. Corruption is destroying our economy and so is insecurity, unemployment and lack of power supply, infrastructural neglect, to name a few. The economic gains remain in the pocket of the few at the top, while you and I scramble for what is left. Some of us point fingers and accuse the government of not doing enough. But if we are looking for the guilty, we need only look into a mirror.
Four years ago, we voted for good luck and not PDP, we were carried away with the facade of innocence and fresh alternative this government enticed us with. We hoped and waited. Now it is obvious that Goodluck Jonathan cannot do better for us than he is doing now, despite the myriad of propaganda we are recently flooded with.
Now five days from today, we have another opportunity to correct this damning error of PDP.
But if you’ve seen nothing, If the crimes of this present government remains unknown to you, I suggest you allow the 28th of March, to pass unnoticed. But if you see what i see, if you feel as I feel, and if you seek as I seek, then I ask you to join me on Saturday, at your polling station with your PVC, to vote GMB/PYO, and together we shall mark a new beginning for our great country.

I dont want to mention names, but that has been our bane. We have been fasting and praying for this election and God has heard our prayer and He the almighty God will see us through. Nigerians will be great again. We shall rejoice. The looser will concede defeat and congratulate the winner. We shall mend fences and come together as a people to rebuild our great nation. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

(APC clearly does not believe in democracy or in the democratic process. It is the party of threats and blackmail. It is the party of Muhammadu Buhari; who says the dogs and the baboon will be soaked in blood if the 2015 election is rigged. It is the party of Bola Tinubu, who declared that in Ekiti it will be “rig and roast.” It is the party of Murtala Nyako, who says there will be civil war if Goodluck Jonathan runs for president in the next election.

Before every election, APC goes to town shouting itself hoarse that the election will be rigged. It brings out all sorts of fictitious documents showing “beyond reasonable doubt” that the PDP, in collusion with the INEC, has perfected outrageous plans to rig the election. Then when it loses, it says “We told you so” and decides to contest the results frivolously in court. Apparently, the only election that is not rigged in Nigeria today is the one that APC wins. At least, we are yet to hear APC say it is going to court to contest the Osun results.)

OBAMA: THERE IS AN AGENDA FOR VIOLENT JIHAD IN NIGERIA

Buhari is not contesting 2015 election to fight corruption; no, no, no, he is contesting
ONLY to advance ISLAMIST SUPREMACY in Nigeria. He has no other plan or idea.
After SHARIA LAW is enthroned as public law in the 36 states, Buhari’s Fulani tribe
would be the PERMANENT RULING CLASS in that wise.

YORUBA MUSLIMS would then be PERMANENTLY assured of the number two (2) position
on the hierarchy of the Islamist State of Nigeria. That’s what APC party is all about.
APC is an electoral version of the rabid Al Qaeda fight for Islamic State of Nigeria.

What is still being disguised as election in 2015 is actually a full-blown ISLAMIC JIHAD
to capture the YORUBA CHRISTIANS. The trick is to give brooms to naive Yoruba Christians
for them to wave around and mislead them that APC is the same old and secular
    Alliance for Democracy (AD) party.

    • Omo Eleniyan

………..(2) OBAMA: There is agenda for violent Jihad in Nigeria

The purpose of going to school is to have and sharpen one’s ability to reason.
Yoruba Christians are likely the best educated groups in Nigeria, but alas, they
are becoming the least thinking. I am writing this letter out of extreme anger plus
huge dis-appointment at Yoruba Christians who are being led by the nose to a
slaughterhouse by the Muslims but told they’re only being taken on a frolic.

What is progressive in Muhammadu Buhari’s ATAVISM to take Yorubaland by the scruff
of the neck and throw it back inside the time-warp of 1804 A.D Jihad of Sokoto Caliphate?
What is progressive in the rulership by a man having a primary 6 school certificate?

What is progressive in the APC announcing a plan to enact Sharia Law in the 36 states –
given that nation-wide Sharia Law is a very good definition of Islamic State of Nigeria?
Muslims are defining “Islamism” as “progressive” for educated Christians to accept.
Whereas, APC is an Islamic organization – full of Alhajis – signifying nothing except
servitude for those Yoruba Christians who are not given to folly, like Pastor Yemi Oshinbajo.

      • Emeka

Do you actually believe the crap that you type? Or all this is just a pretence to look silly?

Is that why Goodluck Jonathan gave money to Gani Adams to organize violence in Lagos and to Madam Gende and Human Rights Joe Okei -Odumakin to organize the dubious Walk Aganist Terror?

  • J.Johnson

    @Guys,

Don’t be fooled. The coup plot Professor Wole Soyinka un-covered and responsibly reported
to the authorities is not a routine coup d’etat but a Trojan horse for Islamic State of Nigeria.
In other words, it is a plot solely nursed by the Yoruba Muslims and Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri Muslims.
Christians in Yorubaland have no part in this evil plot. Christians are fully in support of Jonathan.
This uncovered coup was not meant to make anything better than is done by President Jonathan.
Rather the coup is intended to foist ISLAMIC RULE on Nigerians exemplified by APC Islamist party.

There’s no political solution whatsoever to APC’s Islamism for it is worse than apartheid.
Islamism is the deadliest virus in any multi-religious society. Of the evil thousand demons
stalking Nigeria – including Jonathan’s muddled-up policy priorities and laxity on corruption,
none is worse toxic than the rabid Islamism both Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu stoke.

A country that thumb-prints to elect Muhammadu Buhari authorizes him to spread Sharia Law
to the 36 states of Nigeria. Such a country would forfeit international help against the resulting
Islamic State of Nigeria, because under international law, the United Nations is not permitted

The real tragedy in Yoruba land is when the Ijaw President Goodluck Jonathan left Ijaw land and came to Yorubaland to bribe Gani Adams and Frederich Fasehun of OPC with 9 billion Naira so that they Fasehun and Gani Adams can cause violence in Yoruba land. Gani Adams showed that on March 16, last monday when he caused mayhem in Lagos with his thugs who Presdent Jonathan paid for with 9 billion Naira.

      • Bigzy

How did you come by the knowledge that Gani Adams accepted a bribe? As a matter of curiousity, how did you know how much changed hands? Is this another form of Kpambo Magic?

        • Fatai Adekunle

THe amount is 9 billion Naira shared between Frederick Fasehun and Gani Adams. Goodluck Jonathan himself announced the bribe.

          • Bigzy

            You are a born liar.

Today all ethnic militias in Nigeria are in the payroll of the PDP and people are watching, tomorrow if another ugly agitation starts, they will deny just like they are denying about the satanic death cult of Boko Haram that is constantly shedding innocent blood to satisfy the violent orgy of the quest for power of Jonathan Goodluck,a worshipper of Egbesu cult.More than 15,000 have had to perish simply because a most callous and wicked soul is the president of Nigeria.Jonathan Ebelemi Jonathan, all the innocent blood shed to feed your thirst for power will haunt your generation forever.

OBAMA MUST BE VERY CAREFUL…………….Make him no dey put mouth for matter anyhow. U go wound o!

Obama MUST be very careful, he should not speak on those things he knows little or nothing about. Now, who told him “to keep Nigeria one is a task that MUST be done?” Who? …Is he aware that that is the language of Nigeria’s political thieves who profiteer from the erroneous amalgamation of 1914? …Of course he is aware. I will not pretend that he is not…..Obama MUST also know that we know that the US likes Nigeria to be one not bcos it is in the interest of the Nationalities that make up Nigeria but bcos it is in the interest of the US companies in the oil & gas sectors in particular & the US govt in general….Yes we know….

….Nigeria cannot remain one. NEVER…the fault lines that were mere chinks in the 60s & 70s have long become deep gullies capable of burying all skyscrapers in our continent Nigeria.

—Nigeria cannot remain one when the rest of Nigeria refuse to accept rotational presidency among the six geo political zones/countries that make up continent Nigeria.

—Nigeria cannot remain one when the pollution in the SS/Niger Delta is relegated or ignored while issues like the grammar of some First lady takes centre stage in the Editorial of some self a acclaimed ‘Ground breaking’ online news media. It is unadulterated mumuism.

—Nigeria cannot remain one where standards vary depending on whether you are from the South or North (E.g., entrance benchmark scores for so –called UNITY schools) except when it comes to sharing of the resources of the South South & South East…

—Nigeria cannot remain one when those who own 99% of the resources know that rotation of power between North & South effectively disqualifies them from ever taking a shot at Presidency.

Finally, Obama should know that Nigeria is a peculiar case…If he, Obama, were a Nigerian, he would NEVER be able to win any Presidential primaries or nomination by a PDP or an APC, not to talk of becoming president……This is hard fact! …Nigeria requires bespoke solutions and not any just any model however perfect.

There are millions of us who are no longer interested in Nigeria. We are tired of being tagged and embarrassed all over the world. This is the time to fight for ourselves and our children and we say an emphatic NO to one Nigeria. Obams, be careful…make you no dey put mouth anyhow for wetin you no know. Na advice I give u so.

    • Chijioke

You re right. President Obama made sense in the letter until he got to the last paragraph. That is where he made a blunder. An unpardonable blunder. But come to think of it, he wants Nigeria to remain one, yet he failed to sell weapons to Nigeria to fight those who want to separate Nigeria. Hmmmmmm…… Does President Obama think Nigerians are brain dead?

    • Zarto Ali

you’ve said nothing. First ladies indeed. Diaris god oooooooooooo!

    • taewo

You mean it’s not fair that someone from a minority ethnic group in the Niger-Delta who had no shoes became the President?

  • Festuso

Democracy requires maturity of spirit for the practitioners to succeed. The majority of Nigerians are simply not inwardly mature enough to practise democracy. That is why people will sell their PVC for a pot of porridge, bag of rice or tuber of yam……they are simply not enlightened enough and do not know the value of the Vote. The politicians are unable to accept defeat gracefully also because of that immaturity of spirit. Perhaps indeed the military should return and send ALL these politicians packing. The cost of this our Presidential System is simply too high. There is poverty in the land yet a few are laughing to the bank with what should rightly belong to the citizenry! Nigeria needs to return to regionalism and any region that wishes to go its own way should be allowed to do so. Nigeria is too unwieldy as it stands and it is also not homogeneous to be one country. The earlier we face the facts and dissolve this unholy marriage without bloodshed, as was the case with former USSR, the better for everybody!

  • Mo

Nigeria’s current administration has been outflanked by the political opposition!
South eastern Nigeria, a hitherto perceived stronghold of the current administration, realise promises made by this administration are hollow given the new economic realities etc; thus, have negotiated with Northern Nigerians for their support of a south eastern candidate in subsequent presidential elections . . . .

Vote NOT Fight. We know better this time and will not allow ourselves to be used as perpetrators of violence to disrupt the peace and unity of our dearly beloved country by fanatics and extremists. We March for transformation. We March4Jonathan. #GEJ4Naija

THERE WILL PROBABLY BE A COUP – Says Femi Falana

But having divided the country along ethnic and
religious lines, the masterminds of the political crisis are not likely to profit
    from the perfidy.”

    ………..Femi Falana

    (March 23rd, 2015)

    • B.Taire

      @Records,

You mean Femi Falana said this thing. A lawyer? I can’t believe what i’m reading here. Was he
drunk on gin or high on cannabis? A lawyer should wisely ponder implications of his statements.
This Femi Falana does not show any ability to ponder anything. Not even the logic of his trash.

Where will we draw the line on interim government + transition program, if as Femi Falana said,
each time anyone person perceives there’ll be dispute over election, the elected government must
be terminated either by coup d’etat or by interim government? Femi Falana is too dull and droopy.

The real tragedy in Yorubaland is when the Muslims in APC party plot
an insidious Islamic agenda of a coup; and, sell it to daft Yoruba Christians
as “YORUBA AGENDA”. Someone as naive as Femi Falana will then be asked

to run with it, without thinking, as he’s done by threatening Nigerians with coup.

HA, O POJU…… OLORUN OBA NI KI O GBA WA O. AH, O POJU!!!

Shashshshhh, no noise please, APC Lagos Leaders are in caucus
session; featuring Alhaji Bola Tinubu, Alhaji Raji Fashola, and, Apprentice Ambode:

      • By Popular Demand

        Femi Falana:

Is this any way to be a civil rights activist?

From Bola Tinubu to Muhammadu Buhari you have justified all APC perjurers.
You are the exact opposite of a civil rights activist – an execrable pretender.
Gani Fawehinmi publicly warned you before he died that your ways are wrong.
He warned you that the path you chose to riches is evil, roguish, and, corrupt.
At a time of massive stealing of Lagos state treasury you stood for stealing.
At a time of Islamist Jihad you stood for Islamist genocide for the love of money.
In all moral terms you – Femi Falana – are a basket case awaiting damnation.

“[On this clamour for a Christian as Lagos state governor],
we should not introduce something that will start affecting
the consciousness of the people. We shouldn’t put in the people’s
consciousness what they were not thinking about before.
Even if you look at it closely you will find that the
dominant people in Lagos state are Muslims”.

  • zomo dibia

I wonder why nigerians will support probably the most divisive president in usa history seriously, he has destroyed libya, syria, iraq, ukraine, his plan didnot work in israel now he has moved to nigeria, i repeat mr obama in nigeria we are not liberals we are anti same sex habitation, pro life, pro israel and we call terrorists what they are islamic radicals, just because you are an anarchist, a saul alynsky studentdoes not mean we will allow you to transform nigeria from a country on the up to somalia, your teleprompter included

  • egoigwe

Well, thank you Mr Obama but we demand to know, as the International
community does, if it’s true that you have been airlifting arms,
munitions and food to ISIS in Iraq as recent wiretaps appear to have
revealed. If you are, then by supporting and funding ISIS, you become
for Nigerians part of our problem and not the solution.

By sustaining ISIS you are sustaining Boko Haram that have pledged
allegiance to them. If that becomes fact, you become by it part of the
structure that works to pull Nigeria down. It would therefore make you a
hypocrite for calling on Nigerians to keep our country one whereas you
are actively working from behind the curtains to pull us and our country
    down.

  • Dr.Dan

Obama’s hypocrisy. Only good at writing letters and making fine speeches but he would never act. Even if terrorist slaughter 100,000 innocent citizens he will only send condolences and promise to assist in the war against terror but when you ask for weapons to fight terror he will come up excuses of human right record. He would go as far as blocking other country from selling.now he is pretending to be a friend when within him he wish Boko haram could take over Abuja
