Ezekwesili tackles Okonjo-Iweala, says response to Soludo ill-mannered, abusive

Oby Ezekwesili
Oby Ezekwesili

A former Vice President of the World Bank, Oby Ezekwesili, on Thursday advised the Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, to redirect her energies towards confronting the issues that have ruined the country’s economy rather than declare war on critics.

Responding to a recent article by a former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, governor, Chukwuma Soludo, on the economy, Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala took a swipe at most of the issues raised, particularly his assessment on President Goodluck Jonathan’s management of the economy in the last six years. Mr. Soludo graded the president ‘F9’ or fail.

Some Nigerians have described the tone of the Minister’s reaction signed by her special adviser on media, Paul Nwabuikwu, as emotive and intemperate, as it dwelled more on attacking Mr. Soludo’s person and character than the issues he raised.

Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala accused Mr. Soludo of committing “intellectual hara-kiri” with his comments against the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its rival, All Progressives Congress, APC, describing him as the worst CBN governor the country has ever produced.

“Soludo has shamelessly pandered to so many past leaders that Nigerians are asking one more time – what position is Soludo gunning for now?” the minister asked. “There is definitely an issue of character with Prof. Charles Soludo and his desperate search for power and relevance in Nigeria. Nigerians should therefore beware of so-called intellectuals without character and wisdom because this combination is fatal.”

In her reaction via Twitter, Mrs. Ezekwesili condemned the tone of Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala’s response to Mr. Soludo’s article, saying, more than ever, it provided the justification for calls for urgent national debate on the economy.
“With the “character” of response the manager of the economy – Finance Ministry – has given to @chukwumasoludo, a debate is imperative. Really!” Mrs. Ezekwesili said in a series of tweets. “Nation and people seem to be on an accelerated race to the bottom. So, sad! Why would a statement from government read like that? Gosh! It does not matter who gets the privilege of leading our nation on May 29th. Truth be told, there is ruin that we all must confront together. We must learn to debate in a democracy without being churlish and abusive. It will grow on us.”
Mrs. Ezekwesili has been waging a relentless campaign on and off social media, demanding that government rescue 217 schoolgirls kidnapped from their hostels at the Government Day Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in April, 2014.

She has also continued to campaign for better governance and more transparent management of the economy.
“People like me will never back off demanding,” she declared. “I speak very much because I am making up for all others who should be speaking out but have rather chosen the self-preservation path of silence.

“I repeat again, that article by @chukwumasoludo on the state of the economy is a new opportunity for us as a nation to debate not war. To call people names for speaking or asking questions is a waste of time. No name wrongly called can ever become the name rightly given. In a normal society where people are not busy with self-preservation and avoiding the personal cost of their conviction, we should have more (people) asking.

“No democracy that stands in enviable heights ever rose on the back of acquiescing, lethargic and kowtowing citizens. Every voice counts. It must never worry us that some swear by us, and others cannot stand the thought of us. That’s the way it will always be, and it is healthy. The spirit of true democracy resides in the willingness of leaders to debate and not war.”

Mrs. Ezekwesili, also known as “Madam Due Process” by her admirers during her days as the pioneer chairperson of the Nigerian Extractive industries Transparency Initiative [NEITI] Board, also added her voice to the demand for the release of the report on the forensic audit of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

The audit was ordered by the Federal Government last year in the wake of allegations by the then CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido, over missing $20billion oil revenue.

“By the way, whatever happened to the Forensic Audit Report on missing $20 billion NNPC oil money that Ngozi promised?” Mrs. Ezekwesili asked.

    Madam Oby
Forget National issue you are highly experienced in body therapy
    OBJ needs body chemistry tonight

    • Fairgame

I agree. That smooching picture has Obj wanting more.

      • Temitope

TB Josua is ready to cast out the demons in the two both of you. Pls visit him without delay.

        • Rotimi Lawanson

Temitope Ode buruku. It is people like you that go to TB Joshua. Did you not see the romantic picture of Obj and Oby?

  • Dr Okonjo Iweala’s response was really shameful as She attempted to stand lie on its head. Professor Soludo was not responsible for the Bank losses. Those losses were caused by Sanusi’s attempt to get back at Erastus Akingbola and Mrs Ibru which eventually led to closure of these banks due to the closure of the CBN’s re-discounting window. Sanusi appointed managers only went on a spending spree without being able to resuscitate the banks. Had Sanusi allowed these banks while dealing with the corrupt ownership, most of these losses would have been preserved. The AMCON strategy came to the rescue after Sanusi had exhausted his CBN toddler steps. This action by Sanusis led to a lot of Job losses.

    • Rotimi Lawanson

You must be an absolute dunce! How can you blame Sanusi for the fraud that was clearly committed before our eyes. All those bad loans that are with AMCON that were committed under his watch, how is it Sanusi’s fault? Go and blame OBJ for putting a greenhorn in that position. Direct your anger in the right way. By the way, your man SOludo was busy campaigning to be VP to Yaradua. Haven’t you seen that he tried twice to be Governor and failed? He is just a bitter loser.

  • Fairgame

Oby, OkonjoIweala has no time for you. Isn’t it to your shame that she has never once responded to your attention seeking tweets. Abeg go back to Sambisa forest. I don’t even know when you left there.

    • Edward

Shut Up! You meant Ngozi Iweala has nothing to say? Right?

      • Rotimi Lawanson

You shut up , dunce! She is right to ask this self seeking, attention seeking, Obj mistress to shut up!

  • Chris1408

Great question, what happened to the $20b forensics audit? It’s $20b we’re talking about here, not 20 Kobo

    • Rotimi Lawanson

Go and ask Minister of Petroleum. Oby and Tinubu cannot ask her anything because they know that if they dare challenge that Madam she will revoke Wale Tinubu’s oil blocks so they are afraid to challenge her. How can they be saying money is missing in Petroelum and they are asking the Finance Minister who only receives the inflows that Petroleum remits? Is like a bomb goes off in Kano State and instead of asking the Governor of Kano what is going on, you ask the Governor of Delta what is happening in Kano. abegii. Let us think with our heads.

      • kenneth Moses

Read what you wrote, How can they be saying money is missing in Petroelum and they are asking the Finance Minister who only receives the inflows that Petroleum remits?………. who only receives the inflows that Petroleum remits. ….don’t worry next time they will ask President Goodluck Ebele Azikwe Jonathan. I know you will abuse me ..

I used 2 bliv Okonjo Iweala is an economic guru dat can well manage economy of any country in d world bt alas, she proven me wrong.if not hw can she explain as nt only minister of Finance bt d coordinating minister of d economy, dat under her watch $20 billion is missing. Under her watch exchange rate reached 208 Naira per dollar. We nw kno better.

    • Rotimi Lawanson

Terror ati Terrorism, she isn’t the Minister of Petroleum. Direct your questions to Minister of Petroelum. She just receives money from different departments and agencies in Finance. If money disappears before it comes to her, how is it her fault? Is she the Supervisor of Nigeria? haba. I don’t know why people don’t think!

  • NONSENSE!

The Pastor’s wife shud look for cellotape and tape her mouth permanently. She could fight for justice for 200 girls kidnapped by APC via its military wing – Boko haram, but she could neither support nor lead a protest against the criminal emoluments of Nigerian Legilathieves who earn very provocative and highly antagonistic salaries of up to $7 per annum (N25m/Month approx) in a country where most combatant soldiers fighting Northern Islamic terrorists are paid just N30k.

She has also not deemed it fit to go to twitter or demonstrate against the incessant and irresponsible pollution by the environmental terrorists in the Niger Delta who continue to reap fortune at the expense of the health of the communities where most now live with cancers and others already dead from a myriad of diseases caused by endless release of toxins into the rivers and soil by the conglomerate of idiiiots who clean up spills elsewhere but in Nigeria.

She never deemed it fit to lead demonstrations or protests against the crooked OBJ regime bcos it was her employer, ….and now bcos she is jobless she has taken it upon herself to fight Dr Jonathan’s govt. Nonsense.

  • Rommel

Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is tragedy, she has reduced herself to almost to same level with GEJ,her response to Soludo clearly showed her as the embodiment of she accused the professor of,her response was bitter and unfortunate typical of aggressive Nigerian women when cornered.

    • Rotimi Lawanson

Olodo. I responded to you. You just mouth of nonsense with no critical thinking or analysis. You are one of those that follow the herd from your comments.

      • kenneth Moses

You are the most Olodo. we ve read all your critical thinking and blue sky comment. Please bear it in mind that Nigeria need a transitional change from this government.

Oby is a position sicking harlot, what did she do when she was a minister.

Besides the universities would have grown to be at oar with others in the country. Looking at Buhari, I can see what ruined Nigeria for 50 years before GEJ

        • tundemash

olodo …. only at the creek do PET Minister or PTF Chairman establish university.
My query again …… how come u amnesty miscreants were sent to Ghana and South African Universities and not these universities on paper ?

Nigeria`s anti-graft agency has arrested the country`s former central bank governor Chukwuma Soludo over his alleged role in the banknotes bribery scandal.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, the country`s apex financial institution, had printed new currency notes of 20 naira between 2006 and 2008 with polymer.

An NGO, in a petition to the anti-graft body, had sought for a probe after Australian media reported that Securency International, a subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of Australia, bribed some Nigerian officials to the tune of about USD 4.7 million to secure the note printing contract.

The contract in question was given during Soludo`s tenure as the bank governor.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) interrogated Soludo at its headquarters alongside 15 other senior officers of the bank.

“Prominent amongst the names featured in the secret memo were that of the then CBN governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, senior officials of the finance ministry and a former president Obasanjo” So why should the reponse by Obj former mistress who now works for APC not be hired to talk on their behalf–? animals

  • Ed

Right approach and right temperament by oby, but does this not fit a perceived narrative- rightly or wrongly that Igbo people are the ones doing the dirty work of their paymasters? Even the so-called APC and PDP e-rats are no different. No matter what anyone tells me seeing Igbo intelligentsia tearing themselves apart in the name of defending or attacking the government is a sorry situation. Little wonder the ‘core’ Igbo society will NEVER rule Nigeria in the foreseeable future – mark my words.
Take a roll call of the people at the epic centre of all these bar the motor mouth FFK and you will begin to understand my point of view.

  • tundemash

The best Central Bank Gov or Minister of Finance in the world will fail in any economy leaking $20bn or $10bn in a year. Iweala and Soludo are either victims of or stup1d for working for rogues !

    • Alcindo Satori

…are you still alive? Buhari is no longer interested in the debate. You ask yourself why? Maybe ’cause he has no certificate. Hehehehehehe. You must define yourself; as you’d been promised already. You must do it, like it or not

      • tundemash

Misfit, a debate organised by AIT, NTA, FRCN and ThisDay is what ?
Just plead withyour paymasters to allow the election go ahead FeBuhari 14th. That is all we ask from the Dumbo you guys claimed is the best President Nigeria ever had. Let the best President put his popularity to test on FeBuhari 14th …. that isn’t too much to ask … is it ?

        • Alcindo Satori

When you hold the position of undisputed leadership, your only real competition should be yourself. And that’s why GEJ has no rival (s). Back to my previous point: You must define yourself — I guarantee it! And February is not looking like failBuhari any more, it’s more like bangBuhari now.

          • tundemash

Just let your Dumbo be less jittery and allow election to hold on FeBuhari 14th.

        • warry

Please let channels TV join the group or organize their debate. GEJ will trounce Buhari anyday,anywhere..I told you before. Forget about the media hype that your Igbo smoking dark goggled Almajiri is a dunce anyday. He had cancelled a previously confirmed US seminar too with the advent of his certificate scandal.

      • Victor Odutola Mayomi

Are you still playing politics and refusing to acknowledge the fact that GMB is eminently qualified to run as a candidate. So you are one of those who believe that a General who went to the same institution Collin Powel attended, the National War College in the USA is still an illiterate. I need to pity you for your ignorance. Why don’t you drop this blackmail in view of the fact that it is increasing the popularity of the candidate daily. The President doesn’t need this campaign of calumny because there are many things to his credit that should be canvassed to help his cause.

        • Alcindo Satori

I was tempted to use the word ‘ignorant’ on you but on a second thought, your posting does that already. And that’s for daring to mention Buhari’s name next to Colin Powell.

        • Rotimi Lawanson

How is he eminently qualified? Why wouldn’t he have a debate to educate us on what he wants to do for Nigeria? We listen to jonathan speak and he isn’t the most articulate person but we understand him clearly. Buhari only speaks for 6 minutes. The other day he called his VP candidate, Osunbade. He also said he will stabilize the price of oil. Please tell me, how anyone who is intelligent will say something so daft.

          • kenneth Moses

Too much of talking varnish with air. Jonathan speak and he isn’t the most articulate person?. Man!!!!! Mr expressive – please wait till 14 FEBUHARI 2015. but mind you the writing is on the wall.

        • kenneth Moses

          good talk

    • warry

Dummy even members of your party APC were in the Senate Committee that probed and came up with a verdict that none of that is missing. I know you are very poor in mathematics like the General. $20billion is over #4trillion. One year FG budget.

      • tundemash

Olodo …. since when has the senate committee because an auditing firm ?
Since nothing is missing according to you, what exactly is the FG paying an international auditing firm to do ?

        • warry

The Senate did the probe. The auditing firm was to assist them in their work. If you doubt their final report, ask them or the Auditor General o f the Federation to give you more details

          • tundemash

Cl0wn ….. when they were awarding the auditing contract, we were told they will make the findings public. How many people have requested for the findings and yet none has been made available. Even shouldn’t a cl0wn like u be interested in the findings of the auditing firm ? But as long as u are given a TAN stove and bag of rice, u are ok !

  • Change for the Worse

Ezekwesili, your observation is noted but we are in our current situation because Jonathan and his government have responded tamely to all sorts of crazy outbursts, and even more crazy actions by many imbeciles.

  • tyson

Its only in Nigeria that we see retired atilogu dancers like Sulodo- who was indicted by a committee set up by government to investigate his thieving past–be given space to air his vodoo economic theories for APC–how many jobs did obj create–in d agric sector alone–what about roads—were they not there when sharia law and boko haram came up—sold houses built for civil servants in abuja—-how many did he retrench in Federal Ministries— under his watch-in abuja—the same economic policies that he tried very hard to introduce in Nigeria–which he copied from Ghana is what has led to the destruction of that country’s economic plans—sulodo is a motor park economist—-who was not able to help grow the economy even though oil was selling at 147 per barrel—————when he was in power with another thief—-who left prison with only 20,000 but ended up a billionaire

  • victo amadi

It is actually not right for iweala to respond by solodus character, but by issue, more so soludo was a day light thief, and he and okonjo are both thieves. And they’ll enter oyedepos hell soon for stealing.

The bastardizing of Nigeria by the mindless, who hate the nation. Monumental injustice to a people: 20 Owners Of Richest Oil Blocks In Nigeria Without the people of Niger Delta on whose soil the oil was found. They constitutes the main opposition to President Goodluck Jonathan today. Read on:

    (1) This oil block business is so lucrative that Danjuma’s Sapetro divested of its investment in Akpo condensate for $1billion dollars. Yet a thief like Danjuma is asking them to arrest Asare Dokubo-and Tompolo for airing their views on the Nation state of Nigeria- This business is second to none in Nigeria where only Niger Deltans are not allowed to participate in–hence to move to unseat Jonathan– That is why any attempt to investigate the activities in this sector will always be futile. The money is so much that they give bribes in millions of dollars. A birthday gift or child naming gift from an oil block owner to a government official could be as paltry as $2million dollars, and if the official’s father died, the condolence gift could reach mere $3 million dollars. When they want to bribe legislators, it is in millions of dollars and any ongoing investigation ends within weeks. They are so confident that with excess money they can buy up Nigeria and they are succeeding

    (2) OML 110 with high yield OBE oil fields was given Cavendish Petroleum owned by Alhaji Mai Daribe, the Borno Patriarch in 1996 by Sanni Abacha. OBE oil field has estimated over 500 million barrels of oil. In layman’s language and using average benchmark of $100 dollars per barrel, translates to $50 billion dollars worth of oil reserve. When you remove the taxes, royalties and sundry duties worth about 60% of the reserve payable over time you get about $20billion dollars worth of oil in the hands of a family.

The problem is not only with Okonji-Iweala, but with most Nigerians, including you, you and you. Go through the various comments pages of Nigerian media online; you will see banters and abusive language being thrown almost in every other comment. It is a national problem, Nigerians. A disease. We have lost a sense of civility. All we do is abuse each other. The contributions, even here, are often abusive, derogatory, emotional, silly, heated, disgusting and despicable. There is a lack of decorum in our discussions. We do have a problem. That is Nigeria’s Ebola.

Former education minister under President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili Nee Yawo Obasanjo may have opened her own can of worms because as education minister she received N458.1 billion between 2006 and 2007 and yet nothing to show for it in terms of achievements. The Chibok Girls Secondary school had no Science and English teacher during her tenure as Minister of Education. This can also be glimpsed from the decay in education sector as an indication of “self-indictment” and hypocritical, in her attempt to defend her brother in arms Sulodo both of whom served under Obj-
Souces say during her tenure as Minister of Education between 2006 and 2007, she collected total sum of N352.3 billion from direct budgetary releases. In addition, she received about N65.8 billion under the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Fund, and over N40 billion from the Education Trust Fund (ETF) during her time as Minister of Education.” Yet she has nothing to show for it.
Through Ahmed el-Rufai, the then Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the embattled Ezekwesili acquired 10 choice properties in Abuja. This was made possible by Sulodos monetization policy which saw to the sale of government properties in Abuja.
According to our source, this is in addition to a five hectares of land which she corruptly acquired for the purpose of going into estate business, only to convert it to a church for her husband.

The former minister is also being accused of using her ill-gotten wealth while in office to acquire capital shares in Telecommunication giant, Airtel Nigeria limited, worth several hundreds of millions of naira. Yet she is here acting like a saint for APC–These are the thieves who want to stage a come back via an uneducated certificate less General Buhari———–

That she was even considered, speaks about smartness. You should forever Thank God she’s a Nigerian, ’cause we all do!

    • Rotimi Lawanson

She is a blessing to Nigeria. If she wasn’t there vultures like SOludo and Oby and others would have finished this country. They want to be in power by all means. That woman who is Obj’s concubine is even opening her mouth to talk nonsense

      • Rommel

If this is what you consider blessing,I wonder what evil will look like in your definition

        • Rotimi Lawanson

Rommel go and rest mare. All you do here is criticize. Please give me a critical analysis of how you will make Nigeria great.

  • Rotimi Lawanson

I am not surprised at Oby Ezekwesili. She and Soludo are birds of the same feather. They are both hostages to their ambition. Wow! I am glad this woman has finally come out of the closet. She is Chibok girls by day and APC by night. Fake woman. Your jealousy will killl you. You wanted to be Minister of Finance and Jonathan didn’t pick you. You went to the World Bank and failed. Now you are here making noise. What did you do in Education? Nothing. Please face your Sambisa Forest!

    • kenneth Moses

You ve just spoken your mind. Okonjo-Ewela outdated policy is not working for our great Nation.Kudos to Ezekwesili effort on our Chibok girls. However If 21 billion Naira (as staged by pdp) donated to president Jonathan campaign had been use to support our military or invest into our economy, I am 100% sure we would have been singing boogie-woogie song. Furthermore instead of Okonjo Eweala to give straight answer to Professor Soludo annotation, she was busy questioning his integrity. When such acquisition was raised in an advance country, the appropriate authority must go on air and clear the wave, not to attack commentator integrity. Please tell her to produce the forensic report of $20 billion missing oil money.

  • FirecloudOFGOD

Is this the same Okonjo that operated on an international level? I have always said that the polluted Nigerian political environment reduces most participants in our polity, from a cerebral level, to worse than emotional but non-aggressive state. It allows them to function from the midbrain!

    • Rotimi Lawanson

Your comment is laughable. She is the same person. Didn’t you see that she was named as one of the Four Unsung heroes in the world by Forbes just a week ago? These are the things that are eating Alhaja Oby Obasanjo up. She cannot take it. Jealousy is eating up this woman.

      • FirecloudOFGOD

Laugh if you may! All I know is that a cerebral being who has operated on an international level should counter issues, point by point. She went beyond; brutish, aggressive and knee jerk in response!

        • Rotimi Lawanson

call it brutish if you may but that is the type of response a Soludo only understands. What he did was intellectual dishonest and very self serving. He has all her contacts and said absolutely nothing during these four years. He waited for the election just like he did in 2010, and then started pontificating on how this is wrong and that is wrong. If he genuinely had the country’s interest at heart from the start why didn’t he speak up these past four years? Answer that question. people should do some critical thinking please. we are not deceived.

          • FirecloudOFGOD

I do not know Soludo except in the pages of the newspaper. He has issues with ADB that is yet to be resolved. That is left between him and ineffectual EFCC. However, Soludo has placed some vital questions before Okonjo, her team and the nation. Instead of a decent point by point rebuttal, what we see is a venomous response that is akin to a snake that has its tailed stepped upon! That is my issue. Let Okonjo answer the allegations point by point not rewrite Soludo’s political history!

Mennnn! the woman shocked me with her response,I could not believe how low and bitter she has sunk, empty vessels they say make the loudest noise, could it be that as they say that anything Jonathan touches,he destroys such that Ngozi Iweala is now so bitter almost an empty vessel,I fear oh!

      • Rotimi Lawanson

Rommel you are an olodo. Did you see the nonsense Soludo wrote? Have you even asked yourself why Soludo only speaks before an election? He needed a slap down because he is an opportunist to the core. Thjis man didn’t say anything for four years. If he was so concerned about the economy and not his career, why didn’t he speak earlier on? Why wait until close to the election when he sees that there is a chance for Buhari then he suddenly comes out pontificating as if he has the solution for everything. He has a major character flaw and his ego will not allow him do what is right. This is the same thing he did in 2010. He came out criticizing Jonathan then because he thought Atiku will win the primaries and make him his VP. Atiku lost. This man tried to be VP to yaradua and failed, he tried to be Governor twice and failed. He tried to be VP Candidate to Atiku and both failed. He tried to renew his tenure at CBN and failed. I think the person who is clearly bitter is Soludo. Hi article was insincere and very self serving. He deserved that kind of response because he isn’t genuine. Anything he says now will not be listened to. He should be careful because all his properties in Abuja, his outsize bank accounts, his home in London and the Polymer scandal will soon come out if he keeps talking. Has he even finished his case with EFCC?

        • Rommel

What did Soludo say in his write up that is a lie? that is what I require and not these tales by moonlight,I wants facts not opinions

          • Rotimi Lawanson

Did you read the articulate response to everything he said? His article was the biggest load of horseshit using 2011 statistics to deceive people. We are not fooled. Ask yourself why he is speaking now? People should do critical thinking. It was just a self serving article praising all our ex leaders because he thinks they can influence a position for him. if you have a colleague in class who sits next to you and only starts talking to you about what you are doing wrong or what you need to do only when the teacher comes around, what will you call such a person. The funny thing and irony is that we have now discovered that Soludo left N.5.67 trillion in bad debts. It is only in Nigeria that such a person will be speaking. he should be in jail.

You should not be shocked, NOI as the leader of the merchants of misery, calling themselves as the nation’s economic managers, has always being afraid of discourse on the worsening economic facts and issues. Her stock in trade is to embark on vitriolic and vicious attacks against critics of the economic managers, but it is simply a means of concealing and diverting attention from her failure and mismanagement of the economy, while she swims in shark infested murky waters of corruption, for which she has no control over. Read the articles about the Tantrums of A Discredited Empress; The Golden Girl and the Icarus Paradox; and Red Herrings of Okonjo-Iweala’s Sycophant. As Africa Watch once remarked, her over bloated image of economic czar will be revealed, and is now being exposed at the speed of light with the worsening economic crisis and misery.

Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili, God Almighty will continue to bless you because you are the voice of the voiceless Nigerians and you are a true Nigerian. While you will be appointed Minister of Education under GMB to come and finish the education reform you started, the obese overrated okonjo- iweala who has thrown all her USA and World Bank values in to the wind will be preparing to go to Kuje or Kirikiri prison. She is a worthless minister of finance, under her watch the Nigerian economy fell apart, she could not even release the forensic report audit of the stolen twenty billion dollars, she could not diversify our economy, the gullible Nigerian press continue to prop her up without any success achieved, she created unsustainable programs and finally, okonjo-iweala IS A TOTAL DISGRACE TO WORLD BANK. Nigerians should not forget how her husband was cheating on her and swindled by 419 Nigerians because both of them are very corrupt. After Feb. 14th, many economic and financial atroctricies okonjo-iweala committed will be revealed which will finally lead to her downfall like oduah. Dr. Soludo gave us facts and statistics but since okonjo-iweala knew he was telling Nigerians the truth which she couldn’t defend, the next thing was to assassinate his character.

    • Rotimi Lawanson

Let us see how God adjudicates this one. I hope Sammy you are still here. Let us know whether your Madam Oby or her former boss will be vindicated. God knows the intents and hearts of people. He is not moved by useless ranting by anyone. We shall see those that God chooses to use and those he doesn’t.

  • Charles owolabi

Sammy I am sure you do not know Alhaja oby Obasanjo very well. This woman is a confidence trickstar. Don’t be fooled by all her pontification . She is not what she pretends to be- a fighter for the voiceless Nigerians. Alhaja oby is a caculating individual who from time has Ploted her way to the top. Let me start with her education . Oby could not pass Jamb and had to do an NCE in accounting education. She later went on to get a BEd in accounting education before after multiple tries at Akintola Williams she managed to pass her ICAN, she has no experience at all in the work environment . The only experience she has is as a currency trader for a company called modern finance. Yes oby was like an aboki. She has no economics background and certainly does not have a PHD. Her rise to fame is as a result of the extracurricular activities with her secret husband OBJ. It is not because she has the mental capacity for hard work. That is why she did not last at the world bank. For your information she was fired. She only went to the world bank because obasanjo insisted on putting her there to return the favor for the long hours of they spent together working on policy. If you know obasanjo well you would know what kind of policy incentives they were working on.
She is also not a Christian as she tries to portray. Both her official husband and her self are recipients of large tracks of land from El Rufia. She is the owner of the choicest pacels of land in the FCT held under the name of her husbands church- a fake pastor.
Oby survives by selling land these days
    So don’t believe the pretense.

    • Bala Datti

Exactly her argument, people can’t disagree with the Jonathan administration without being blemished. Just take an audit of people who have disagreed with him. When Obsanjo wrote GEJ a letter hoping to correct the administration, GEJ and his cohorts called OBJ names, names that did not exist when I OBJ stuck his neck to make him president. SLS lost his job as CBN governor for asking for accountability. Jega has all of a sudden turned into a Fulani simphathaiser for not doing the President bidding in disqualifying Buhari and refusing to extend election, an attribute that they did not see in 2011. The biggest victim of this none tolerance of criticism has been General Buhari. The poor man has received all forms of insults for daring to run against Cesar, all sorts of lies have been concorted to discredit him, even his late wife and late children have been cited to drag his name in mud,.This administration is more like a Military government, they can’t stand criticism. As civil as my position sounds, wait and read the reply you will find to this short piece, especially that I am Hausa and Muslim. My tribe and Religion will be attacked not the substance of my argument. The e-rats that parade themselves on the site have the same mindset with the drivers of the GEJ administration.

      • Debo

Guy, well noted. By the way, why do you refer to Jonathan as Cesar or as the have been, Nebuchadnezzar and at the same time call him a weak and clueless leader. These attribute are contradictory to what those paleo leaders represent.

      • Charles owolabi

Bala obj did not stike out his neck to make GEJ president. Please ooh . Neither did he do it out of the countries interest. He did it out of pure self interest. Please read el rufias book. He thought he was putting an ode there so that he could control him. It failed. Obj according to el rufia was just put people he felt he could control from his ota farm. However after the Yaradua trick worked. The clueless GEJ as you call him suddenly had a clue. He out maneuvered obj and today the rest is history.
Obj out played himself. He could have given he presidency to El rufia or or any other northerner he wished but he choose a sick man. Why for selfish reasons.
GEJ for all his cluelessness has continued to rule over intelligent mortals like you. He would win again and there is nothing you can do about it. The north has been divided fully. What north are we referring to now is is the middle belt? That is what we call the new south. All the Christians in the north would never vote for a Boko haram leader – Buhari . They would never accept a man who intends to impose Shari on them.
That is why GEJ would win. Afenifere has come out in support of GEJ. Just watch and see. Tinubu has also cut a deal with GEJ. Buhari the serial looser would loose again
You can take that to the bank
We the Yoruba would never vote for a man who detained our great leader baba Awo.

        • Dan maikoko

Old story Charles. The North, The southwest and all of Nigeria has been united by GEJ. They all want him out!.GEJ has done what no other past president has done, bring Nigerians together on a single issue-his dethronement.

    • Nija pikin

All this na rubbish talk since when did land aquisition or land selling becomes a crime in Nija you said she did not pass her JAMB I rather fail my JAMB and have the intelligence and morals and zeal of Obt than to have a PHD in whatever and the empty brains of Jonathan and dishonest mind of a fake finance minister on whose a nations wealth was basterdized and milked dry under her watch never again will we hand over our beloved nigeria small time crooks who lie as a means of livelihood

      • Charles owolabi

Rubbish talk? Oby never paid for the land. Please go and check the Abuja geographic information system. She was given the land by El rufia when he was FCT minister. Just the same way he allocated houses and land to his entire family. It was the most fraudulent process ever conducted. To day the FCT is still trying to find over 40 billion Naira which they should have gotten from the sale of federal government houses.
Maybe you do not see anything wrong in the frudulent acquisition of land and government?
Oby is a beneficiary from the frudulent diversion of government assets and land.
Ask oby to show us her qualifications.?
        She has no PHD
Parading her self as Dr oby.
Fake dr whose only work experience is as a currency trader at modern finance working for chief Okonkwo.
Obj was the one who wrote her recommendations to do an mpa at Harvard
It is the same obj she has been servicing at the back

“Nigerians should therefore beware of so-called intellectuals without character and wisdom because this combination is fatal.”by Ngozi Iweala’s puppet.
It is unfortunate that Madam Ngozi could reduce herself to name calling, simply because Prof Soludo gave a criticism . U turn it into ram fight, instead of looking @ the message and the unalterable facts in it , u resulted to abusing Prof Soludo’s personality. Soludo did’t lie in all he said . Here is a little bit of Madan Ngozi’s lies.
    1) In the presence of TV glare in theHouse Chamber, after you have consumed half bottle of ground nut , they ask you to come and testify , you immediately fake sickness , the chair man discovered , how can a sick woman consume that amount and insisted you testify , u changed and wanted to , but you were over ruled . Such is the drama of Baba sala or Zebudiah of yesteryears.
    2) You ,Ngozi told the whole Nigerians about $20b missing at NNPC ,that you were setting up forensic investigation , to be carried out by Price Water House Cooper. You told us, yo will give us the report on Nov 7, now is 3 months after they have completed the report, you are still hiding it for reasons already known to Nigerians .
Therefore who is an intellectual without character and wisdom , who is ill mannered and abusive. It is not Soludo, rather is Ngozi Nweala who lied after eating 1/2 bottle of G.nuts. We are already aware of your games.

    • Charles owolabi

I am so sorry for you. That you actually believe that 20 billion got missing. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was only playing to the gallery for financial illetrates like you who would believe any thing. First he claimed that 57 billion dollars was missing then he moved it down wards to 48 billion Usd then he later revised the figure downwards to 12.4 billion and later revised it upwards to 20 billion. So which figure should we adopt? May be we should just toss a coin to decide which figure to take. The basic fact is that Sanusi did not have his facts right. As a student of accounting I understanding where the problem arose for him. Maybe oby with her Accounting background would under stand the problem rests with flowing accounting processes. I would try to explain . You see any export that is done including oil is covered by an NCD form evidencing the exit of goods from the country payments for which are automatically permitted within 3 months of exit. During those 3 months there would be NCDs for which goods have left the country and payments are yet to be received. Typically at the end of a month when payments come in the NCDs representing such payments are discharged. On a reconciliation basis therefore accumulated NCDs for which payments have not been received create a difference between shipment and inflows. In sum this means for a typical planning horizon say a year the value of export shipments exceed actual funds received the difference bing outstanding NCDs. The tradition at the CBN was to pursue these outstanding inflows from the relevant export institutions. These over ther years is a settled routine with default only occuring from minor and non reputable export entities
Sanusi as CBN governor did not understand this because he lacked the requisite trading in accounting. That is why his figures kept changing and Ngozi with more experience quickly helped to solve by inviting a reputable accounting firm to reconcile
Nigeria would discover that 20 billion USD never got missing as allerged by Sanusi.
Anyway he did not attend the great Ife. He would have encountered flowing accounting processes in year 3
Oby please educate your aboki friends. At least you understand the concept .

      • SAM .A

Are you responding to my request for Ngozi to release Forensic investigation with all these your tautology . Shame on you , if money was not missing why did the foreign accounting firm audit the account of NNPC.The report had been available since November 7, why is Ngozi delaying the release .
You cannot use this your imbecilic argument to change facts.
When the real change arrives on February 14th , you will shed blood as tears for all this your denial , jeffer head boy.

        • Charles owolabi

Sam you must be a functional illerterate.
The process is not for Ngozi to release the report but the accountant general of the federation to do just that as stipulated in the constitution. Remember that she is an interested party and any involvement in the release maybe termed as collusion by desperate people like you.
Note that a foreign firm went to audit the books of NNPC because your aboki CBN governor made incredulous claims.
Remember 57 billion missing. Then 48 then 12.4 then 20.
That is what you get from a quota based CBN governor who did not have the right accounting training to be in that position.
Audits are also conducted on a routine bases to determine the financial health of organizations.
What madam Ngozi called for was a forensic audit. Which is an indept study of the entire processes at the NNPC.
As for all your threats I want you to know that the the lord protects the righteous. Who knows you may even be the one who dies first.
nOI is not moved because the truth always sets one free and she stand on the truth

Is it an offence to ask for the release of the report? This is about a public institution o. Should one need to go to court to force government to publish a report which content is in the interest of the public? We run a democracy and a federal mode of government patterned after the American system. Why is it so hard for us to practice things the way those from whom we are copying do theirs? When it does not favour us, we refuse to do things the way they should be done. This is one of the major reasons why we have always failed. Make that report public, joor!

        • warry

The issue of inviting forensic experts came during a Senate Committee probe. Now the FG had earlier done an Audit by this foreign firm absolving the NNPC of wrong doing. If the same firm has a different view this time ,demand for the report from the Senate. Incidentally, the Senate Committee which carried out the probe including APC members declared that no money is missing. Are you suggesting that their report is different from what the experts told them? If so ask them to give more information. They were the ones probing the NNPC and the ministry of Finance.

        • Rotimi Lawanson

Sam you are clearly an olodo. You don’t grasp what Mr. Owolabi has explained to you here.

      • Nina pikin

Na lie how can an Ncd recouciliation takes more than 2 years and at the end of the recounciliation madam NOI still told the nation that indeed about 11Billoin was the only amount missing and the forensic audit report is still no where to be found even if we are not students of accounting we are not foooools and the money doesn’t belong to anyone’s father but belong to Nigerians and Do you no how much is 11Billoin?

        • Charles owolabi

Naa pipkin you are an illeterate. It has not been 2years since the audit was conducted. It has not even been up to a year. Again NOI did not say 11 billion was missing. What she said was that 10.2 billion had not been reconciled. There is a big difference between being stolen and yet to be reconciled in accounting. Please ask oby she would explain that to you.
What we should do is allow the audit to be completed and released by the accountant General as mandated by our constitution.
NOI is not the one to release the report. It is the accountant general.
Again how come oby and other APC members refuse to ask madam petroleum any questions when the audit deals directly with an agency under her. The answer is simple they are afraid of madam petroleum. Try talking and get all your oil blocks revoked.
Tinubu has given instructions to oby and the party that they should avoid madam petroleum. He does not want wale to loose ConocoPhillips assets and oil blocks
          Fake and insincere people.

  • Okey

Charles Chukwuma Soludo convinces me beyond all manner of doubts, that the average Nigerian elite is motivated only by PERSONAL INTEREST. To him, the much touted “National Interest” is a facade, a make-up to gain applause for relevance.

Prof., without much ado, the summary of this your syndicated piece is quite discernible, the subterfuge of your first paragraph notwithstanding. Which summary is: Jonathan, the worst man; his administration the worst ever. Buhari, very much unknown to you, this Jonathan man has left a mountainous problem for you to clear but I, Soludo, is the best guy to assist you in clearing the mess.

But I assure Chukwuma Soludo one thing: It is doubtful if he can EVER AGAIN impress or make meaning to his intended audience. For to them, Charles Chukwuma Soludo has committed the “Alex Ekwueme Harakiri.”

Recall, Dr Alex Ekwueme had gone to Abacha’s National Conference wherein he advocated for “Rotational Presidency” as between the North and South and amongst the six (6) geo-political zones. The North, in particular people of the North-West, regarded that proposition by Alex Ekwueme as a direct attack against the North. How that was/is, is still a puzzle to those of us who genuinely desire the longevity of this nation vide justice and equality of citizens and opportunity. Alex Ekwueme was to be punished severely when during the 1999 PDP Jos presidential primaries, Northern leaders and their hirelings in Nigeria ensured that Ekwueme lost. He was to come again in 2003. Arewa Peoples Congress (APC) commissioned a study and report on “Between Obasanjo and Ekwueme, who the North Should Support.” What’s the outcome ? The outcome was instructive as it said in sum: Though Obasanjo has not performed, the North is still advised to go ahead with him instead of Alex Ekwueme.

Why that long history ? The North says Charles Chukwuma Soludo dealt them a mortal blow. That when he carried out the recapitalization programme, 25 banks survived. That of the 25, 13 had Yorubas as controlling shareholders whilst Igbos control 11, leaving the North with only one (1), Unity Bank. Without being reminded, the process that led to the privatization of the banks was very transparent as the banks were capitalized through the interests and funds of shares-purchasers, who happened to be mostly Southerners. That citizens from a section of the country did not show commensurate enthusiasm was no making of Soludo. But the North held him liable for that. Soludo’s “culpability” manifested when time came for the renewal of his tenure. Despite willingness of President Yar’Adua to tenure renewal which he had personally promised Soludo, some Northern elders insisted and ensured that Yar’Adua never renewed the tenure.

No doubt, Jonathan’s unforgivable offence against Soludo was committed when Soludo vied for the governorship of Anambra State. (I could now remember myself then making strident, unrelenting calls on Thisday newspaper online – as I did on his second attempt – for a wholesale welcome of Soludo’s candidature, warning that Anambra and indeed Ndigbo will miss their way and suffer a dire consequence if Soludo was not given a prime place-role via Anambra State – to the point that many thought Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo had commissioned me for that. The fact being and remaining that, for me, that is not possible. Second, I don’t know him, he doesn’t know me either and I am not even from the same State). By that time, Jonathan was still “a good boy” to the Ota man. And the Ota instruction came that “Charles be stopped” because Charles posed a stumbling-block to “the ‘anointed son’ from Anambra.” Jonathan carried that instruction to the letter. In the result, both Soludo and the anointed son lost to Peter Obi. Perhaps for a pound of flesh, Soludo was latter to identify with Atikiu Abubakar in the PDP 2011 primaries against Jonathan.

Now, Soludo, in obvious journey to protecting his personal interest, just like his fellow Nigerian elites, has undertaken the “Last Push” by joining in the “Operation Stop Jonathan.” My prayer for Soludo is: may you not in the end be found to have committed the “Alex Ekwueme Harakiri” !

BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS!! BREAKING NEWS!!!

Nigerian Masses and Nigerians in diaspora who voted against ex-military
president, BUHARI, in 2003, 2007 and 2011 presidential elections have already
adduced the following reasons behind their votes against BUHARI. They have
insisted that nothing has changed in the life of Ex-Military Dictator( Buhari)
and as such have resolutely decided to go into election on Feb., 14
Presidential Election to demonstrate their views and to send Buhari to a
    perceptual political retirement.

They spoken in harsh tones to our correspondent denouncing Buhari in all
ramifications . According to them, “below are the reasons we voted against
Buhari in the past elections and why we are prepared to VOTE against him
again this Feb., 14 Nigerian Presidential elections”. Reasons:

    No1.

NIGERIAN STUDENTS. Remember the person who abolished feeding in

tertiary institutions in 1984?. Buhari as a military Dictator then had

no agenda for Nigerian Students, neither does he and his rag tag

    coalition this time.

    Vote to protect our Students.

    No2

NIGERIAN WOMEN. How many Women were in Buhari’s Cabinet as Military

Head of State? NONE. Buhari has no respect for the dignity of women and

regards them as insignificant in national development. That is why he

recklessly said recently that he will abolish the office of the First

Lady if he is elected. Women, who today are at the commanding heights of

Nigeria’s political economy will have no rallying point in a Buhari

    Government.

    Vote to protect our Women.

THE NIGERIAN PRESS. Do we want to risk the freedom of Expression we

currently enjoy?. Hear Gen Buhari’s vow in 1984 when asked about press

freedom ” I will tamper with that”. To match words with Action (after

all, Buhari claims to be a man of his words) he enacted Decree 20 and

jailed Journalists Nduka Irabor and Tunde Thompson. Many Nigerians were

detained without trial under his draconian Decree No 2. Can we afford

to go back to the dark ages?

The NIGERIAN POLITICAL CLASS. If you think that the current attempt to

whitewash General Buhari and give him a human face will make him abandon

his old habits, we will be in for a rude shock. To him, every

politician is a thief except himself. This kind of messianic delusion

has no place in contemporary Nigeria. Buhari looks at everyone with

contempt and prejudice. His iron fisted misrule lead to the premature

deaths of political leaders across the country. Let us save our emerging

leaders and protect them from a rampaging despot.

CIVIL SOCIETY. Buhari’s Government enacted laws with retroactive

effects. Nigerians were given punishments that were nonexistent in

previous laws at the time the offences were committed! How else can we

define gross violation of human rights? Buhari enacted and recklessly

applied Decree 2 otherwise known as Detention of Persons without trial

    Decree.

    He never condones dialogue.

CATTLE REARERS. To some Nigerians, General Buhari is a proud Fulani man

who will protect them when he gets to power! How wrong! Under General

Buhari, the obnoxious Jangali Tax system was introduced and this brought

untold hardships to Fulani Cattle Rearers and frustrated most of them

out of business. A good friend they say is better than a wicked brother.

The current effort to create grazing reserves for cattle Rearers must

be supported. Buhari will bring back Jangali.

INVESTORS/ BUSINESS COMMUNITY. General Buhari does not believe in the

principle of a private sector driven economy. He is still ensconced in

the worn out and obsolete practices of a state monopoly control of the

economy. All the gains of the current reforms which have made Nigeria

the biggest investment destination in Africa will be reversed.

TRADITIONAL INSTITUTIONS. General Buhari as Military Head of State

undermined the revered and world famous Stools of the Emirate of Kano

and the Ooni of Ife when he unilaterally suspended the Great Alhaji Ado

Bayero and Oba Okunade Sijuwade from office for embarking on private

visits to the State of Israel. At the time they visited Israel, they

violated no laws. Let’s us preserve the dignity of our heritage.

THE LEGISLATURE AND THE JUDICIARY. General Buhari does not believe in

the concept of Separation of Powers. Being from a dictatorial

background, he lacks the temperament to engage in dialogue and tolerate

opposing views. That is how he influenced the dispensation of justice in

his regime. From his pronouncements and carriage, he has learnt nothing

and will attempt to weaken the other arms of government. SAY NO TO

    THE

NIGERIAN PEOPLE. General Buhari seems disconnected with the norms of

politics in his actions and his words. His immensely divisive persona is

manifest in his recent pronouncements. In an interview he granted to

weekly Trust recently, he referred to Former Presidents Olusegun

Obasanjo and Ibrahim Babangida as his “Enemies”. Nigerians deserve a

President who is a unifier, not one who has a penchant for collecting

enemies. A Nigeria President should NEVER HAVE AN ENEMY.

NIGERIAN PEOPLE. Buhari and his APC image launders have continued to

present themselves to Nigerians as people who are going to fight

corruption when voted into power –

    Buhari whose ADC, Major Ojokolo

escorted 53 suitcases money into this Nigeria in 1984 even when he, Buhari had

ordered the closure of the borders.

of Military draconian administration cannot turn around to benefit from

What more should we expect from Okonjo, who has joined in looting and telling lies about rebase and figures when we know the oppoeite is what is on the street.

FeBuhari 14, we all vote this lazy government out of office.

  • Dr Okonjo Iweala’s response was really shameful as She attempted to stand a lie on its head. The loss of the N5.7trillion could be attributed to the error in appointing a Greenhorn to manage such a sensitive position at a period of a global meltdown. The refusal to renew Professor Soludo’s contract was therefore a significant error of judgement by the Government. Those losses were caused by Sanusi’s attempt to get back at the likes of Dr Erastus Akingbola and Mrs Ibru which eventually led to deliberate suspension of these banks from the discount window. Soludo had opened this window in-line with global practices with a view to weaning these banks back to life as a result of the crash of the stock market.Sanusi in his native wisdom rather than allow this rediscounting services which is the major functions of a Central Bank, decided to provide funding freebies to his politically appointed managers. These managers then went on a spending spree without being able to resuscitate the banks. Sanusi had the option of allowing these banks to function while moving against the corrupt ownership, to preserve the interest of the shareholders thereby avoiding the banking losses. The AMCON strategy only came later to the rescue after Sanusi had exhausted his CBN toddler steps. This action by Sanusi also led to a lot of Job losses.

    • obinna

A masterpiece, thanks for this clear elucidation…

    • Rotimi Lawanson

Which Masterpiece? You are the same olodo that always has a negative comment to say about Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala no matter the circumstance. She delivered a masterful and brilliant response to that crook Soludo. He is only speaking now after four years and just before an election because he thinks he will get some crumbs of Buhari’s table. This hypocrite of a woman, Alhaja Oby Obasanjo is just purely jealous of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. She has been hounding her everywhere and the question we will ask is why is she so obsessed with this woman? She is older than you, more educated than you, certainly more polished and exposed than you, more accomplished than you, more intelligent than you and has a stronger and better character than you Oby. She is not a hypocrite pretending and hiding behind Chibok girls as a neutral party while attending APC meetings at night. God punish you this jealous woman. Please tell us why you left the World Bank? Why was your contract not renewed Madam??

  • Patrick

Madam Ezekwesili it is good to speak, but your time of
speaking suggests that you too have political ambitions. Everybody knows that
nothing goes for nothing, maybe Buhari has promised you that you would be the
next Finance Minister to replace Madam Iweala; hmmm that seat that you’ve been
    eyeing for a long time.

  • Bolade

Oby Ezekwesili is fond of always attacking Madam Ngozi
Iweala that smacks of insecurity, she needs to build on her self-esteem and
confidence and not to be competing with Okonjo-Iweala

  • Razaq

Two weeks to elections, now everybody is talking, giving
voice to their own political ambitions
in what seems like expressing concern for our beloved country. Oby Ezekwesili
is only preparing to come back into government probably under the umbrella of
    APC.

  • Ifeanyi

What are your motives and underlying intentions in all these
Madam Ezeks. Nigerians should not be fooled by this treatise or eye-service
show of concern for the economy and the country. It is election time and everyone is only
concerned for his tummy and his interests.

    • Anebi ‘Svoboda’ Onoja

but the answer to that just may be simple. Maybe she just is concerned. She has attacked every government since her employment, has attacked the opposition, has attacked the incumbent. maybe she just feels we deserve better. not everything has to come with a story

  • Izuchukwu

It is true that you never acknowledge any of Madam Ngozi Okonjo-Iwealas
efforts and achievements, any opportunity to attack her you always pounce on. You
are too jealous to be able to celebrate her success.

  • DD

This woman is so jealous of Prof Ngozi Iweala that it is unbelievable. This nightmare that is uglier than Obasanjo; please go and hide

    • Bio

It’s a shame. Big shame you cannot apply intellectual reasoning. Ohhh! You cannot give what you lack. Debate issues and not persons. Ughhhh!

  • Lake4r

There is nothing abusive in the content of NOI’s response to Soludo’s response.

    • Bio

      Can u define abusive? Shioor!

  • Ezekiel Garba

Madam Due Process, what exactly is this grouse about? You never appear to validate the efforts of the finance
minister except point out crevices in the wall. You are beginning to appear as
someone desperate for a political appointment.

  • Mofolorunso Oluwafemi

Rather than curse the darkness, why not light a candle? “A better politics is one where we debate without demonizing each other; where we talk issues and values and principles and facts rather than ‘gotcha’ moments, or trivial gaffes, or fake controversies that have nothing to do with people’s lives*. – President Barack Obama. Mrs. Ezekweli, the current administration may not have met the expectations of all Nigerians, but they have done their bit. Let’s sheathe our verbal swords and collectively move our beloved country forward.

  • ucheJ

Must every minister that left GEJ’s cabinet say rublish becase they are no longer in Aso Rock? Ezekwesili was in that cabinet what did she do to improve the economy? Soludo was also there, what did he do? Why can’t people who have nothing to offer allow this good man to concentrate on the good work he is doing? Ezekwesili is saying rubish because she was sacked from the cabinet.

  • Clem Clem

whatever GEJ does is the best to our south easterners without evaluation. this is pure ethnic blindness.

my question is which ethnic group will produce the president in 2019?

i want to know if GEJ has already given to our brothers across the niger for their faithfulness to him.
