APC vows to form parallel government if 2015 elections are rigged

APC Chairman John Odigie Oyegun

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has slammed the presidency for its response to the warning by Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State that if the 2015 elections are rigged, the party will not recognize the outcome and will go ahead and form a parallel government.

The APC said in a statement Friday that Mr. Amaechi’s comment represents the stand of the party.

The statement issued in Lagos on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, said that what Mr. Amaechi said at the APC’s Salvation Rally, which has now rankled the presidency, was simply to reiterate the stand taken by the party before the last Osun State Governorship election.

“Those who are fretting about this statement are those who are planning to rig the elections and they should be warned that Nigerians will no longer accept the outcome of any fraudulent polls. Those who incite the people are those who steal their mandate.

“What we made is a conditional statement. If A happens, then B will follow. That means if elections are not rigged, there will be no problem. It is therefore laughable that anyone will call that statement treasonable,” it said, adding that there is no higher treason than the subversion of the people’s will.

APC said it is common knowledge that anywhere in the world where elections have been rigged, the consequences have been dire, and Nigeria will not be an exception.

“Let us remind the presidency, in case it has forgotten, that election fraud triggered a civil war in Algeria in the early 1990s, led to the killing of over 1,000 people in post-election riots in Kenya in 2007/2008 and fired a near revolution in Iran in 2009/2010. Electoral frauds also corrupt democracy and breed dictatorship, and risks making the people to lose confidence in democracy. Why then would any government react violently if warned against election rigging?” the party queried.

It said that instead of issuing threats and engaging in name calling, the presidency should simply brace up to ensure that the forthcoming elections are not only free, fair and credible, but are seen to be so by Nigerians and the international community.

APC said it is necessary to constantly warn the PDP and the Federal Government not to tamper with the 2015 polls because of their penchant for electoral desperation, which manifests in the intimidation of the opposition and the militarization of election, disposition to anarchy and propensity for impunity.

The party said already, the process leading to the 2015 polls are flawed, with moves to disenfranchise millions of Nigerians by making it impossible for them to either register or get their Permanent Voters Cards and the plot to depopulate the strongholds of the opposition.

“PDP and the governments it sired, especially at the centre, are lawless and anarchic. That’s why they can unleash the police against federal legislators in an attempt to force a removal of the Speaker of the House of Representatives. That’s why a state under the control of the PDP will use seven lawmakers to remove the Speaker in a 26-member House of Assembly.

“Because it is said that eternal vigilance is the price of freedom, we will constantly warn the PDP and the Federal Government not to tamper with the 2015 elections. We will constantly chide them for trying to institutionalize impunity. We cannot and will not be intimidated by an uptight presidency,” it said.

“The PDP and the Jonathan Administration are the masters of impunity, and they will not hesitate to exploit any sign of docility in the face of their evil intentions on the part of the opposition. The lessons are there: Had the members of the House of Representatives been docileon Thursday when remote-controlled security agents invaded their premises and barred them from entering, Tambuwal would have ceased to be the Speaker by now.

“For us, the gloves are off. We will no longer engage in any nicety as long as some people are bent on thwarting the will of the people through electoral fraud. All we are demanding is a free, fair and credible election. All we are saying is that no one should incite the people by stealing their mandate. How these demands can be construed to mean treason is as baffling as the do-or-die disposition of the ruling PDP to elections,” the party said.

they are afraid because they plan to rig.But we all have our eyes open. Lets see if anyone will get away with rigging this time around.

  • Sharia_Haram

They will be charged with treason, period. MKO Abiola tried it. Where is he now.

    • TRUTH MASTER

That’s the point! Abiola watered, with his blood, the democracy that Jonathan is now trying to mess up. We will defend our democracy with our blood. Let no one sabotage it with rigging. Is that too much to ask for?

      • Sharia_Haram

You must also defend the sharia law with your blood. We are ready for your blood. We can’t wait to have your blood flow.

        • TRUTH MASTER

This is not about the Sharia. It is about democracy!

  • kwango

Nigerians must have their mobile phones ready to video and photograph rigging and lawlessness during the 2015 elections otherwise a reclusive president whose area of expertise includes impunity and manipulation may pool the wool over our eyes. I don’t know why a government that should warn all parties against rigging the peoples mandate is the one complaining.

My problem wit dis quote is dt, how many times has it worked, where and how. Remenber we are oil rich, so d moment we start dt “violence” d super nations would hv vested intersed , dey would roll out tanks to help us “overthrow” d johnattan regime (you woudnt expect dt he wud surrender easily) , crital infrastructure wud b bombed, our already sorry economy wud get even worse, the situatoin in d north east wud get worse cos boko haran wud find it a lot easier with a divided nation, der wud probably overtake d entire north, d core johnattanians in d south south n south east wud pick up arms and distrupt d “oil-wealth”. In d end GEJ may be sent on exile , or d worse case killed, but the chao and anachy dt wud follow may be worse dan s libya and syria ; d western nations wud wash der hands and leave us.
I know many ppl would disagree wud dis , but take a moment to really think ouf d “violence” approach , and how else do you tink it wud end.

APC is a lawless Islamic Jihad of dyed-in-the-wool, murderous Mujahedeens.
The APC party has no sense of law and order and its members readily jump
the fence of the National Assembly, without pause by gumption or compunction.
If Lai Mohammed went to a good school and learnt anything there,
he’d see the stupidity in his press statement.

A self-determined allegation by the APC that rigging has occurred
does not entitle APC to set up any parallel government in Nigeria.
If APC dares it, its members will be convicted and hanged for treason –
according to the law of the land forbidding self-declared government.
This fact should have been obvious but nobody in the slew of Muslims
comprising the APC party shows himself up as having good thinking ability.

All as announced by Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff (Muslim).

Note: No Northern Christian was picked as National Vice Chairman or Zonal Chairman; why?

Is it not unconstitutional for INEC to register this ethno-religious party?

It is instructive to note that all the key and important positions
have been listed above and they are all assigned to Muslims. Embarrased
by the publication of this list, APC went to media dubiously claiming
that 17 Christians were assigned positions. I challenge APC to publish
the names of the so called 17 Christians and the positions assigned to
them since as far as I know, and I would say it again, I have listed all
the key and important positions and all of them are assigned to
    Muslims.

NB: This update is necessary in order to answer frivolous allegations
that some names were deliberately omitted. Yes, I had omitted the names
of persons like Tom Ikimi, Anyim Nyerere and Otunba Niyi Adebayo who
were appointed National Vice Chairman for South-South, South East and
South West respectively and Senator Annie Okonkwo who was appointed
Deputy National Chairman South. The reason is because these positions
must of necessity go to persons who are indigenes of the respective
geo-political zone. They are really not what I call day-to-day executive
and functional positions; they are completely peripheral. Furthermore,
it is instructive to note that none of these persons genuinely profess
and practice Christianity; of a truth they are nothing but masked Muslim
Converts. I am also aware of inconsequential positions given to Emma
Eneukwu, Osita Izunaso and James Ocholi. For instance James Ocholi was
appointed Deputy National Legal Adviser. What is the worth of Deputy
National Legal Adviser. The person who calls the shots is the National
Legal Adviser which in this case is Muiz Banire (a Muslim).

My point in all this is that INEC will be doing a great disservice to
Nigeria if they do not de-register this clearly ethno-religious party
    contrary to constitutional stipulations.

    • TRUTH MASTER

Too late in the day. Nigerians know better. If they like, let all the officials be Christians, Muslims or Babalawos. We will vote for competence, vision, capability and outstanding leadership, not religious or ethnic bigots! Try again!!

  • aboki

There is no way APC can win in 2015. The structure and platform required are not yet in place. The threat to form a parallel government is a ranting of frustrated people sensing defeat.

So far so good in the South West these “jihadist” have not burnt any churches, some even marry our Christian Sisters, attend our fellowships, birthday parties, naming ceremonies and weddings in our churches. We all live in a secure environment, we have the biggest churches and headquarters in our territory and we can preach the gospel freely, everywhere and at any time. Our professionals operate freely and our businessmen, entrepreneurs and skilled workers/artisans relate with one another with respect.

No need to get worked up about religion and ethnic differences. Face up to the issue on ground. The pdp government has failed to deliver on the promises of governance hence his popularity has dwindled. Resorting to impunity and rigging will only make matters worse.

  • Umar Jibril Abdulkadir

When dakubo, tampolo, okupe, shema, and a lot more are making threat to the people of nigeria, it’s not treason rather it is freedom of expression, but when intellectuals and democratic fighters warn of the danger of what fayose, obj and now GEJ are. Doing is treason, double standard!!!! Mr president is not late to redeem your image, nigerian are quickk to forget and forgive buy better rice and keke marwa and give them and ask them to fight for you and made them understand that u were oncce like them no shoes, and God doesn’t normally gives what u ask for and they should help u beg God so that u will win, call Ngilari to order tell him to sack those hunters that are more gallant than our once strong army so that boko haram will take over the whole north, ask fayose to continue slapping judges so that none of them will have the gut to sit, turn ikorodu bush into an open space prison for all politicians afterall you are not the first person to do such even common Ghana have done such and khammer rouge regime, abacha has done it in the past, then change your name because of the transformation agenda to KSH ( Kennedy Stalin Hitler) cuz u were once loved like Kennedy, started transformation agenda like Stalin, and end up killing almost everybody like Hitler. That’s naija for U, then there will be sanity in the land.

Tell them Lai, them go hear wey, let them try their rigging next year , we are ready , everyday na for thief one day na for the owner , that day has dawned and its 2015, no more PDP magomago, wuruwuru, thief thief, enough is enough.

Parallel government indeed……with HQ at the Sambisa Forest !!

    • Dr. Kay

Sambisa forest ,you know it exists and your Dumbo had left the Chibok girls there to be violated, raped ,pillaged ,harassed? May God repay all the supporters of Dumbo and Dumbo himself with the same fate this girls are going through. May their daughters and grand daughters meet the same fate , amen.

      • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

Your tantrums are purposely misdirected, you know the Islamic Sharia extremists who parade around as opposition….they should order their boys in the Sambisa to stop the violence and set the hostages free !

          • djay

nice to hear that, the issue of boko haram has nothing to do with Islam but these terrorist need a platform to pursue their evil agenda that’s why they are using Islam otherwise why do the claim western education is forbidden yet they use vehicles and weapons invented by this same western education they condemn.

          • concernedcitizen2014

Second World war bloodiest war in history in which western and east European countries with Christian foundations where the protagonists, the transatlantic slave trade that killed and displaced millions of Africans ruined our economies was perpetuated by Western Europe and America. Think of it when we begin to purchase the dollar for N200 by March. Is it ISIS and Al Queda or Boko Haram that run IMF and the World Bank. Mr Tawanda please explain to me this obsession with ” I am a christian” so by default I am better than anyone else. No one is good only God. Let us practise what we preach.

          • concernedcitizen2014

Talk is cheap. Your communication is geared to stimulating strife between muslims and christians. I am a chrrstian, but hate hypocrites. A true christian will not create strife, or stigmatize anyone. The bible says cast out the scorner and peace will remain. We are to save all, to preach to all to accept Christ’s ways. The kingdom God is building is to accommodate those who hunger for the truth, taught by those who practise it.

          • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

To hell with sentiments ! If the condemnation of terror upsets you then you can go hang……I have no apologies nor regrets to stating things the way they are !! For your information,I am not religious,I still believe in Amadioha the great god of thunder !!

          • concernedcitizen2014

“To Hell”, “no apologies nor regrets”…”not religious.”. You should spend more time teaching us about Amadioha to create a middle ground between christian and Islamic extremism

        • djay

You are not even a lover of Christ cos your propagandas against Islam and Muslims will make Christ to ask God to forgive you for your evil ways.

          • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

The difference between good and evil is what matters ……this has nothing to do with Christ or Muhammed !!

          • djay

Then tell your sleeping president to wake up and be decisive in flushing out evil people that’s why he was voted to power.

          • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

The whole of NATO have not flushed out ISIS in the Middle-East,the US have not really defeated the Taliban in Afghanistan. Do not forget that these are terrorists willing to die in the process of killing unarmed civilians. Assymetrical warfare is a complicated thing, all they need to do is kill civilians and the army cannot be everywhere all the time no matter how efficient they are.
Nigerian political opposition are inciting Nigerians in a most unpatriotic manner,we see the beheadings in the middle-east of westerners and western hostages held in captivity but they all rally behind their leaders to fight….Nigeria is just not a country,it lacks that basic ingredient of patriotism,it is a mere geographical expression . The Fulani feel they must be at Aso-rock and they are willing to sell and betray the country to foreigners in the process, they run into embassies and inform and obstruct any move aimed at winning the war,can you imagine how they obstructed Nigeria from procuring weapons recently through their connivance with foreigners…that is sad !!

          • djay

Well in the first instance, the situation of bokoharam wasn’t well manage from the onset. It was the injustice meted out to the original members that resulted to this insurgency. The leader , Mohammed was killed cold blooded and yet till now neither the killer nor the sponsors of boko haram has been arrested and tried. We are all witness to how the chief suspect is given govt protection. Since the FG is insincere in its fight against boko haram then you shouldn’t expect citizens to support the govt.

          • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

Yusuf the late leader of Boko-haram was an apostle of violent Islam, that was why he was arrested in the first place but if he was killed extra-judiciously ,then that was wrong ! This administration have paid out huge amounts in consolation to his family but one has to prove a case in a law court against any killer. Jonathan cannot just order the courts to convict a killer rather it must be proven beyond reasonable doubt in a court of law .Jonathan inherited a problem which expanded while he was in office for many reasons. The world-wide proliferation of violent Jihadism, the fact that he is a Christian and the fact that these Jihadists do not believe in forgiveness, they believe in revenge and this left Nigeria with few options .
Nigeria is a sovereign nation,we cannot capitulate,we have to fight and defeat them like other countries are doing and we must be prepared to sacrifice in the process. The politicisation of the whole thing by the opposition is despicable to say the least !!

          • concernedcitizen2014

Are there not any fulani in PDP. Is every Fulani man evil. There is a danger in stereotyping. Why are the Fulani in PDP including Muazu allowing there people to be vilified constantly by there own party supporters.

    ANARCHY

    • Otile

Anarchy for a purpose, so that in the midst of anarchy looters and parasites will plunder our land, steal our oil, and impose a Fulani on us. Yes anarchy.

  • Otile

Looters cum parasites do not care about who they hurt, whose
environment they pollute, all they want is to impose a Fulani on us and
let the flow of oil continue.

  • Nonsense

…and why you form your parallel government, just like you are
experimenting with your Boko haram, those of us from the rich Niger Delta and
South East will be looking at you. In fact, we will stand up and begin to clap
    for you. Nonsense.

You were there in Lagos, and for over 33yrs, one aboki after
another were changing office at your backyard
in Obalende and you never deemed it fit to form a parallel, vertical or even a
horizontal government. .. anyway, we dey wait, after all, the more the number
    of parallel governments the better.

    • Dumbo

To hell with you and your oil. What is rich in Niger Delta or east? is it your current worthless oil or bunch or thieves and criminals you all are? primitive illiterate living in denial.

      • Nonsense

I thought you would have written something like “an illiterate”…So you have learned? That’s good. Orhue!

  • Wähala

Actions and Reactions must be equal and opposite for things to balance out naturally… the gloves must be off indeed, that’s why Hon. Cheche reacted physically when his party member and fellow Army veteran, Sen. David Mark, tried to pull off a “House Coup” and install Ihedioha Speaker thru the back door. Dr. Dumbo has a precedent of declaring that less is greater than more in elections dating back to NGF elections and now in Ekiti State, happened also in Rivers State where this same Gov. Amaechi was wide awake and thwarted the illegality sponsored by Lady Hippo via Nysom Wike. So, don’t do ‘A’, and Plan-B won’t happen… that’s all Nigerians and the opposition are asking for, why the uptight reaction if spurious intentions are not in the making? Asari does not have impunity, let this Agidi Govt. first cage a street urchin before threatening Amaechi with a can of Redbull… Energy Drink. Nigerians must remain energic and agile in thoughts and actions like Hon. Cheche to convey the urgent message that enough is truly enough… nothing treasonable about that. Incendiary statement like #CrushTheCoakroaches are more damning to democracy. Ende!

    • onyeozo ozogburugburu

What is the yard stick for measuring election rigging? If APC win it will be free and fair as it happened in osun state, but if it’s another party it will be rigging, as it happened in Anambra and ekiti state. Nigerians are watching, it’s only people who are drumming for war will die in it, come 2015 PDP will win the presidency let us see the parallel government. Instead Apc to be mapping out campaign strategy on how to win election, they are busy doing demonstration, while pdp are busy mapping out campaign strategy.after apc will crying wolf when the sheep is not yet out.

What’s the rationale for 7 Lawmakers impeaching a Speaker in Ekiti State? So, attacking the House with police is about election win & lose ba? What is going on now with PVC distribution is election rigging at “source” since you don’t know. Biko, go back to your motor parts business shop and leave intellectual discourse to sane people.

        • Godfrey Etokebe

”What’s the rationale for 7 Lawmakers impeaching a Speaker in Ekiti State?”

Because the SPEAKER is an IRRESPONSIBLE SPEAKER!!!

          • Yola

So because he is an Irresponsible means 7 is greater than 19. Democracy is game of number majority have their way minority have their say not the other way round,

Watch these videos below. Which Party did you see the election riggers finger printing for and which party did you see their representatives talking about election rigging in these videos? That party is called PDP.
This is how Jonathan won the 2011 election..

How to open the video on your browser: Replace (dot) with ( . ) and remove the spaces. Let me know if you have difficulty opening the video…..

    If Lai Mohammed and his
fellow bigots in APC think that they will foment trouble and cause havoc in the
country and still go unscratched they have another thinking coming. We
are in democractic system and not anarchous society. If they lose come
2015, they have the courts to seek judicial review but if they choose a
different approach it will be very unfortunate. Americans warned Tinubu
when he made similar statements before Ekiti election. Let’s all be
    careful and respect ourselves.

I will be donating N100k to the GMB campaign fund because I believe no amount of money spent on getting the present set of brigands occupying Aso Rock is wasted.

The future of Nigeria is at stake here and I am proud Nigerian who wishes a better country for my children. He is just the best of what is available today; heads and shoulders above! I just have my list of those I would never support to become Mr. President.

All compatriots wishing to support the GMB campaign, please take note of the following details –

Nigeria’s crisis today is Islamic Jihad. Nobody can dis-agree on that point. If that be the case,
the next ultimate crisis will be the APC – which by itself is an Islamic Jihad by political means.
Islamic Jihad can’t be stopped in Nigeria until the Islamist APC is defeated across the board.
APC and Boko Haram are joined in the hip on the same noxious idea of Muslim supremacy in Nigeria.

    • Akiika

      Hear the moron!

      • Otile

The solution is not your usual name calling such as: moron, imbecile, nincompoop, clown, clown prince, plus other innuendos like; reno omokri, dumbo, hippo, upper-cut. Let APC spell out what they are going to do for Nigeria. Nobody needs a load of insults for an answer.

        • Paulo

          @ Otile,

No mind am. Nigeria needs a very strong coalition of Christians and liberal Muslims (who know the violent consequences of an Islamic state) to wipe out this cancerous APC Islamist party from the political landscape forever. Nigerians must draw that line. Vote your choice, but never vote for Islamists attempting to foist an Islamic state of Nigeria. That is the red line.

      • TAWANDA INCOMMUNICADO

I see you as the ignorant moron !!

      • ty

        You are a biggggg moron

      • Omo Oodua

You are the demented fellow here!

        • yakubu garba mtn

just like m.e.n.d and m.o.s.a.b are joined with the p.d.p in destroying nigeria.

  • Olusegun Olawonyi

My concern is that APC – win or lose in 2015 – will go ahead to form a parallel government any way. That is the balloon they are trying to fly with this Amaechi statement. There was no need for that kind of statement. It does nothing but overheat the already charged political landscape of the country. In this part of the world, it is very difficult for those who win elections to do so convincingly. And more sad is the fact that everybody claims “victory” at the end of virtually all elections. Our politicians do not know how to accept defeat at the polls. See what happen at Ekiti State the other day – the APC lost and the party failed to acknowledge defeat. Rather, they turned on the electorate calling them all sorts of names. That is why everyone should be concerned when APC makes a statement like this. I pray we all live and this country lives beyond 2015, in prosperity, peace and sustainable progress, in Jesus’ name.

    • Abdulkadir

While most of what you said may be right, you did assert that the APC refuse to acknowledge defeat when they lost to the PDP in Ekiti state. That is untrue as it is on record that the then incumbent Fawehinmi congratulated the then governor elect, and that was what no PDP governor or president can claim to have ever done.

      • ty

The party chairman Odigie Oyegun never accepted defeat in Ekiti election alongside the national working committee. Fayemi not Fawehinmi, he saw the defeat blue black and it was visible even to the blind and he couldn’t deny..

  • Edward Osadebay

I can see how the 2015 election will be conducted. Does anybody still remembered what happened in Anambra, I mean the gubernatorial election that ushered in now Governor Obianor. People will go to polling stations and simply will not find their names in the voters registry in North-east, some states in north-west, in most states in south-west and pocket of states in south-south. So Nigerians will be massively disenfranchised. So gear up Nigerians for the war that is coming. PDP will rather Nigeria burnt than allow a free and fair elections.

  • the truth

Inflammatory statements to heat up the polity. We are watching. Both parties at this juncture need to be strategizing on how to defeat the other, but they are busy making statements that would result in bloodshed. Amaechi’s kids darlington, izu and precious are all abroad, while he is busy inciting the poor men kids to die. We need free and fair election, but knowingly inciting violence is wrong. Call a spade a spade.

  • PP

I envisage a state of war and anarchy in the forthcoming election. Nigerians please let us pray and forget about taking sides
It is only God that can deliver us. Also remember this is END TIME. All these point that the coming of our Lord Jesus is at hand please everybody should repent and amend his/her ways. You will not say you did not hear/read it

  • Proudly Niger Deltan

Where is Sir Dokubo, General Tompolo, MEND etc…? You guys should respond without delay. Make una now fall our hand o! …may God bless you all as you champion the course of the Niger Delta. We therefore expect you to respond to this threat in a most disproportionate fashion. God bless you as you do so.. We are men, not children that some idiots can threaten at will.

    • ty

Thanks a lot, we (Niger Delta) will form our country by 2015 and the south east will also form their Biafra republic, so that the yorubas will become the permanent slaves of the hausa/fulani in suffering and pain. The slave master and the slave boy….

  • Abubakar

This is absolutely rubbish, people are suffering u talking about election

    • T

people are suffering because they could not protect their mandate in the past, all our suffering boils down to election and all the solutions lies in a credible election

  • T

sending this cowards out of governance is the first priority of this country, you dont plant your seeds on a dirty weedy farm land

  • Godfrey Etokebe

This is SELF DESCRIPTION by APC. You (APC) has tried severally to takeover the government of Nigeria by various ILLEGAL and UNDEMOCRATIC means. We the Nigerian people knows what that is BEST for US. That is why we have not fallen into the trap that you have been layiong fior us.

    • Mr A

Godfrey… I don’t know which part of the country you were born or brought up… but something is really wrong in your skull. Transformation you call it, when the security of this country has been thrown to dust. Our so called president isn’t concerned about the lives of our brothers and sisters dying in hundreds everyday… and corruption has eaten through our bones. “OUR COUNTRY HAS FALLEN APART” … think again and there is still room for another write up

      • ani 1

Mr A, you are sick. Which president in the world would have such opposition as GEJ and will be focused? Let me tell you, corruption is not the problem of Nigeria. If corruption was, why is APC teaming up to form alliance with OBJ, the same man they accused of being corrupt?
Talking about BH, what contribution has Borno state governor given to curb the insurgency? Why don’t you incite him to resign?
May God forgive you for such nonsense you just said. You are seriously blind deaf and dumb.

    • Jayay

Evil! Bad! corrupt mind. Depraved mind. Lack of sense of wrong or right.

      What a pity?

  • ty

“Let us remind the presidency, in case it has forgotten, that election
fraud triggered a civil war in Algeria in the early 1990s, led to the
killing of over 1,000 people in post-election riots in Kenya in
2007/2008 and fired a near revolution in Iran in 2009/2010. Electoral
frauds also corrupt democracy and breed dictatorship, and risks making
the people to lose confidence in democracy. Why then would any
government react violently if warned against election rigging?” You and your children will fight the war and you and your family may be consume in it not the blood of innocent Nigerian, you are hungry for power for your own selfish interest and not for the interest of Nigerians.

    • Godfrey Etokebe

”You and your children will fight the war and you and your family may be consume in it not the blood of innocent Nigerian, you are hungry for power for your own selfish interest and not for the interest of Nigerians.”

APC ANARCHIST believes that YESTERDAY is TODAY!!! Ethnicity is NO LONGR a FACTOR nor an ISSUE in Nigeria. Normal Nigerian do not factor in RELIGION in their daily endeavours in Nigeria of TODAY (maybe BOKO HARAMITES do). There shall be no WETI nor ARABA (mass murdering of non indigenes and SUPPOSED infidels that happened in the then WESTERN REGION and NORTHERN REGION in the 1960s anymore. We shall ALL vote peacefully and elect the POLITICAL REPRESENTIVES our CHOICE. .APC, pleaseAPC, do not waiste your time playing ANCIENT CARDS.

  • Ijeuwa

LET THE ELECTIONS BE FREE AND FAIR AND NO ONE GETS HURT, THERE WILL BE NO PARALLEL GOVT. I DON’T THINK THAT IS TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR. THOSE WHO RIG ARE THE ONES GUILTY OF TREASON.

  • ogbuefiakajiaku

MKO Abiola when he was alive was very powerful more powerful than most presidents in the world. You cannot compare with Tinubu,Amaechi etc. When he tried it we all know how he ended. Let APC try it and the consequences will be bitter for them to swallow.

  • tsunami1earthquake

Forming a parallel government? I advise the APC to err on the side of caution because no party, no matter how popular, can conclude authoritatively that it is going to win an election. There are millions of Nigerian voters out there and deciphering their minds is a difficult task. Forming a parallel government is not a remedy for perceived or actual election rigging. Procedures for obtaining remedy have been built into the electoral laws; and these laws are supreme.

  • D-ONE

no election next year will be termed free and fair with the two heavyweights fighting for power!!!! we all know this!!!! all elections in naija are rigged!!!! the two sides know that most of their governors, senators, reps were all rigged into office!!!!
see wat i said earlier!!!! the two parties will claim victory next yr!!! it will head to court!!! pdp will be declared winner and the parallel govt issue will come into play!!!!!
the only painful thing is that it is innocent naijas that will suffer while their children will be cooling off in the uk and us waiting for the war to be over so that they can prey on the remaining!!!
pls we need to us the social media now to advice all youth not to engage in anyboy’s war!!! let them fight their selves!!!!
see as they are stocking up arms everywhere and sowing army uniforms!!!!
we really need prayers as anyone can be a casualty of war good or bad!!!!!

  • MushinSpeaks

Lets pray the PDP do not rig the polls; words like this should caution and halt them from involving in intrigues, plans and moves to rig the polls.

  • Jay

“Electoral frauds also corrupt democracy and breed dictatorship, and risks making
the people to lose confidence in democracy. Why then would any
government react violently if warned against election rigging?”

  • EBI De blessed

APC,i see the anger in you.You have tried your best to win the presidential election but to no avail, because of wrong political configuration. Is forming a parallel government the best option ?APC always win their governorship elections through the court and not through the ballot box;but with the court too this time APC will fail

  • Inuit

This is an irresponsible and childish statement. APC has demonstrated that its priority is to win at the polls even at the expense of peace in Nigeria.
