Professor Cyprian Onyeji, Vice Chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, kidnapped on 13th of this month has regained freedom.
Mr Onyeji was released by his abductors in the early hours of Friday in neighboring Anambara state. He has since reunited with his family.
The VC was kidnapped by the in front of the school gate by men who later demanded a ransom of N200 million. It is unclear if his family paid the ransom as details of the release process is still unclear.
