The General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, said on Monday that an Information Desk had been set up at the Ifako General Hospital on Sunday’s DANA Air crash in Lagos.
Mr. Oke-Osanyintolu, who disclosed this to journalists at the crash site in Iju, Agege, said the desk is being manned by officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and DANA Air.
He said the desk would provide information to family members and relations of victims of the crashed aircraft.
The LASEMA chief executive said that DNA tests would be carried out on all the remains of the crash victims, to ensure that the bodies are adequately identified.
He said that four of the five residents of one of the buildings affected by the crash who were taken to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, have been discharged.
The LASEMA chief added that all bodies recovered from the crash site are being deposited at the LASUTH morgue.
